I am shocked that Tan Song yun isn't on the list. I have never seen a woman play a child, a mature woman, sassy crazy woman...and a layered historical role with such conviction. You gotta give it tothis chameleon. Also, where is Imada Mio? Come on! She is also a 🦎

Suzy might not be as good as some of tge very good actors in kdramas but BY NO DEFINITION is she bad. I loved Pinocchio, I loved her other dramas. Those dramas are in my all time fav lists. She did justice to her roles.

No I agree with you. I have watched his dramas (had no idea that he was an idol) ans I enjoyed it. There were many talented actors with him...but they rarely outshine him. He has a great chemistry with all his actors. He might not have a great range but he nails his speciality (light romance)

I tell you who is decent for romance roles...Lee jun Ho! He's decent for romance genre but that's about it. 🌟CHA EUN WOO.🌟.its criminal to give him these many opportunities. He has been given so many high production dramas as a lead that I feel bad for real actors.
I am sorry but an average actor does theatre, starts as a side character, shows incredible potential..and sometimes, outshines the leads. That's how they get to act under big producers and directors. It takes SHEER TALENT. I never thought pretty privilege could get you THAT FAR and I am guilty of watching his drama only for his face card (only to drop it later and fall in love with second leads almost every time because of their better acting).
I have yet to see an actor who has barely shown ANY GROWTH even after getting so many golden opportunities.
I completely disagree with Dylan Wang being there. He is a great fit for Light, Romantic Comedies like LBFAD. He absolutely nails this genre.

Chinese are busier than ever and they are rightly critical of dramas or cinema in general that isn't great in quality. Sure, we like to switch off our brain for certain dramas but China has experiment ed with 15 min dramas because they know the time and attention span of people these days.

Something like "Reset" was soo refreshing, successful and enjoyable that i thought there would a storm of 15-20 ep drama after that. That didn't happen and it makes me sad.

I love Chinese dramas sooo much...But I just don't understand WHY THEY CANNOT MAKE LESS EPISODES. Almost all stories should be tight knit...and finished in 20 eps max (though It can be less). That just increases the quality of drama while increasing the global reach.

I like cdramas more anyway. The style of writing and direction in Kdramas gives a very "overly manufactured" feeling to me. Meanwhile Cdramas flow more naturally. Of course, there are exceptions but the chinese have an upperhand in NOVEL BASED FANTASY AND ROMANCE...even the thrillers (especially hong kong thrillers) are better than korean ones.
Interestingly, because of politics, people have less exposure to that.

I am just excited for Kim Seon Ho. 😍 He is a very good actor and I am sooo watching his new drama. The woman he is paired up with ...fits k beauty standards but her acting doesn't have the RANGE and layers that Kim Seon ho exhibits. He looks very natural. Let's hope that the chemistry takes off.
