ep 15...Good development for ZY and CQ in this episode. The carriage scene with the window between the two of them...that was so soft and lovely. ZY looked so elegant in the light blue costume with the simple, white hairpin.
ep 22...Another good supporting role for Chang Hua Sen....Im glad we saw the scenes between HanBe and old Su Jian...that was so emotional. WSG and Wangyan...the screenwriter ruined a bit the romance between the two of them for me. Anyway, I love their mature and composed relationship. Ji Ling and Wuyi...the love story is so unpredictable but their emotions are sincere and soft. Mu Long and You Chi...Im rooting for them.
LYR deserves a proper main role. I dont understand the low screen time. Finally, we saw a slight smile on ZY's face... ep 12. The Ximeng female warrior is so impulsive. But, ZY is very patient with her. Liked the short moment between the FL and ZY at the banquet in ep 10... and CQ looked beautiful in that styling.
the story is captivating...I like the quiet chemistry between the FL and ZY and their unwavering loyalty. the female characters are smart and interesting... General Huan...the actress is pretty convincing as the female warrior.
ep 27 was light and funny...DX is such a nice guy...the reunion with the umbrella was so lovely. FXY and the sister look good together...But I absolutely love the kinship between DX and his sister and the friendship between Simu and her subordinate. The first scene between Simu and the maid Ziji was hilarious. Meng and her ''brother''....Poor guy..she is so clueless.
ep 17...I love both couples...Great chemistry and the acting is so good. I especially liked the unspoken between Wuyi and CW in today's episode. the ''married couple''..they communicate very well.

ep 7...I only watched the ML, Joseph Zeng, in Snowy Night Timeless Love but it was a female centric drama. I absolutely love him as WSG...He is a smart, calm and intriguing character. Yan An looked so gorgeous in the carmine red robe (ep 5). Poor Ji Ling...he is so naive and innocent.
ep 8..that was a great episode...The main leads..their chemistry is so natural and calming. the ML's fight scenes in the enemy camp were so good...Liked the pearl vow scene. DX and Simu on the branch with the lantern...they both looked vulnerable and innocent. that was a nice shot.
that was a nice watch. the harem affairs are pretty realistic, the whole cast was amazing, the love story between the Empress and the Emperor was strong and unwavering. the costumes are elegant and the closing song is soft and beautiful. the modern scene was a nice surprise for me. They look good together in the modern clothes.
watched the first two episodes...I didnt expect such a great chemistry between Master Wu and Wangyan...TJR is so good as the innocent and honest JiLing. He, WuYi and Li Jie are a funny trio.
ep 27...Loved the glances and the slow motion between the FL and the Emperor at the end of the episode...that was a beautiful shot. The costumes are stylish and elegant, especially the Emperor's royal robe and the FL's blue costume in this episode.
the house drawing was an important piece of paper. The ML draw himself and we got HE. that was a nice detail. General Luo and his son...the scene reminds me a bit of a similar scene from SOKP.
