Zang Hai looks good in his new robe and in his new office. Liked the calm scene when he was working on the geomatics papers. Never seen this actor (the Marquis) in anything before but he is convincing in this role. HZ and the FL...Now, Im waiting for some subtle romance...I think she already realised how smart and capable ZH is.
ep 7...wow...wow...XZ's acting...all the scenes were full of strong emotions... the gate scene between HZ and Yang....HZ's emotionless face and the cold gaze...
finished ep 6...wow...HZ and his ''Duly noted''. I really enjoyed all the scenes between HZ and the new character, Ji Qun and the other co-workers. it was touching when they wanted to complain against the Imperial decree. I dont know if it is just me, but XZ has a good chemistry with all the actors in this drama.
Loved Xiao Zhan's carefree entrance in ep 2..that was a beautiful shot on the stairs. ZH and the Master Liuchi...this scene made me laugh...XZ really looked like a shy and innocent boy. Another good scene was the General's Lock scene between ZH and the Masked guy. The Masters were so proud when ZH unlocked the cube. I liked the strict Master, he was a little emotional during the farewell scene with ZH. Master Gao and ZH...a smart and funny team.
Oh, thai version...yay...I didnt know that... I only recognize the FL and the actor Win Metawin. Loved him in Enigma. it is one of my fav thai dramas. And he and the SFL are my fav couple from F4 Thailand.
Im not a fan of military dramas but Gu Yiye is a smart and interesting character. And I like the comradeship between the recruits. But I didnt expect the loveline between the FL and GY. Anyway, they look lovely together. ep 6 was so hilarious with the scene about Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass and the innocent mango. I laughed so much.
the FL looked so pretty in the plain costume with the veil during the Wei Mansion episodes. I like the ML's room in the Top Scholar's Residence, especially that screen with the floral pattern. And Luchan looks elegant in the olive green robe. ep 27. The FL and the SML...liked them as the fake couple/team. Luchan and Mingshu on the bed sleeping peacefully... for me it was beautifully captured scene with the perfect bgm. ep 29
Im unfamiliar with wuxia movies so I didnt expect the funny scenes. the ''interrogation'' scene between HR and her Clan about her painting. and the meeting between GJ, the Clan and the Mongolian...Elder Jian managed to confuse everyone, even the members of his clan. lol I find the scenes so hilarious.
