I like the fact that his feelings don’t change after she comforts him about his being a demon. This shows he doesn’t just like her because she is the first girl that accepts him.

He is half pure yin blood which can help both demons and demon catchers. His demon blood doesn’t affect that.

She didn't hate SRQ because he didn't mean much to her, and since her brother killed his family, she accepted it easily. However, she is deeply hurt by her brother's betrayal; she would have done anything for him, but he turned against her because of a woman.

The screenwriter and producers really failed us with LR confronting SRQ in episode 30. This was supposed to be the first time she loses her cool and breaks all pretense of cordiality with SRQ. In the novel, we see her anger and passion, and she finally tells SRQ how much PWX means to her. I don’t know why they chose to create a mundane scene that doesn’t have half the impact. Even if she doesn’t slap him, her words should have been similar to what she said in the novel.

They overestimated the second male lead syndrome this second lead would have, failing to realize second male leads are often perfect, whereas the main lead is usually full of flaws. The moment they revealed he killed her, all those second lead ships sunk.

They really need to kill off the emperor. He serves zero purpose and is just annoying.

In the book, we get a lot of internal dialogue, so their reasons for doing things are clear. In the movie, that is not the case, so they often show external motivation for people's actions. I don’t think it absolves SRQ from responsibility since we know the street vendor doesn’t have all the details and wouldn’t say the same thing if he knew he was coveting a married woman. I think that scene and the drumming scene show SRQ looking for signs from LR and the universe to confirm what he already believes.

I think the reason is because he got a second chance at life, so of course he thinks of all his regrets and wants to fix them. The problem is him not realizing that LR, with her second chance, didn’t choose him.

Are you stupid? You are the one complaining that most people view grey characters as villains. It has always been like that and will always be like that. People watch shows to forget their problems and seek temporary enjoyment, so they don’t need to worry about the complexity of characters. Few things in this world are absolute truths, and fiction is not one of them. Fiction is shaped by the author's imagination and is open to interpretation. The themes, morals, and interpretations are often subjective and can vary widely among different viewers, as you can see from this discussion.
