This drama is an adaptation of the novel We Live Together. The novel is much rougher, and I honestly wouldn’t call it romantic. For example, the kiss scene in the drama is based on a scene in the novel that almost turned into drunken physical intimacy, but then the phone rang, and the heroine fell asleep while the male lead was answering the call.
The leads are attracted to each other, but they’re constantly bickering, insulting each other, and there are basically no tender moments between them. So the screenwriters softened a lot of things.
Jun’s storyline doesn’t exist in the novel at all, so I have no idea why they developed it. Probably just to have enough material for initially planned 40 episodes (now 36).

He’s staying quiet because it’s not just about him. He represents big business, so he can’t react emotionally. My guess is the lawyers will first figure out what this girl actually has, what she really wants (if anything), and then try to keep the whole thing from blowing up. Like, imagine she’s telling the truth and she was 17 and a half, but she told him she was 19 or 20 (and honestly, in the photos she doesn’t look super young). Another possibility is it happened recently and she was already an adult — and then, sure, he could speak out
