K-Drama Good, But Needed A Nudge
A very decent effort to tell a story that goes beyond a sequence of cute moments and repetitive rom-com storylines. It certainly has some very fun, sweet and dramatic moments, yet doesn't commit enough to make it a truly memorable series. The writing could have been better and lingered more on some aspects that form the core of the story and flesh them out properly.
Regarding the acting, everyone did a good job. Teshow and Ping, for a rookie couple, actually had a lot of chemistry and seemed comfortable with each other on screen, which is something you don't usually expect from a new pairing. To me, they showed a lot of potential to act in a more complex story in the future. As for Sing and Chimon, their dynamic was very adorable and they made it work. I really liked their chemistry and look forward to seeing more of them.
Overall, it's a series I would recommend. There's effort behind it and it's enjoyable to watch.
