The struggle of having HMH dramas back to back in Dec/Jan… now we have to wait months again 😭 sighhh.

But I’m sooo excited to see him as a general, it honestly feels like a dream come true. I love strong general characters and have really high expectations. After watching all his reuters, I just know he’s going to nail it. And the fact that he did all the stunts/martial arts by himself, even with real fire?! A+++ for the efforts!! I need summer season to come fasterrrr

I know right. the fact that 99 limited edition Ora car all sold out in 24 hours. Amazing! If i wanna buy a car, it would take me months to think my decision hahah!

didn't have time to watch yet but how was the five episodes so far? i know i don’t have to worry about CGI/costume/aesthetics cause GJM is very good at it. how about the plot?

Not gonna lie, after watching multiple fantasy C-drama, the plot tend to be repetitive, but this one fingercrossed it has unpredictable plot, and so far I’m loving it. At first, Arthur’s acting seem a bit off (i could not understand his character, he tend to smile a lot), but i watched his previous work, i know he is a good actor. so could not be he suddenly bad here right. but after watching yesterday’s episode (8 and 9), ahhh now i get it 😂, it make sense. Im not going to spoil it but now i know why simu is confused about him at first cause i also confused about his character. but damn the fight scene in ep 8?!? what an epic fight. it feel so real. this is what i want to see from a general!! not just a pretty face! great job arthur!! i was impressed throughout the fight

I was puzzled to hear that he got hate out of nowhere by this stupid fandom. they even attacking his mum in douyin. are they having mental issue or something. sound like a desperate for attention to me. I don’t even know the artist but seriously come on, hesong fckg do something 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Okay I’m not gonna lie, these past few days I didn’t have high expectations for ancient dramas because they can get pretty repetitive , too many plot twists and heavy storylines. I was also a bit hesitant to start this one since I didn’t really like ZLH’s previous work (lets hope this will be the good one), and I’ve never watched Tian Xia Wei before, so this is my first time seeing her in a drama.

But yesterday I decided to give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised. What hooked me first was the OST and the way the scenes are shot.. it’s really beautiful. I’m only at Ep 3 now and the plot doesn’t seem super heavy, but honestly I’m kind of tired of intense dramas lately. I just want something calm and cozy right now, so this drama is perfect for that mood.

Can’t wait to watch more. But girl… Tian Xia Wei… even though I’m a girl, who wouldn’t fall in love with her?! 😭✨

P/S : the rating?!? i think this is one of highest rating for ancient drama in MDL (2026).alot drama suffered low rating for this year. Congratulations! Let's hope they don't butcher the middle and end of drama!!

i started to realise that this seems to be a new pattern in china industry. eventho its female centric drama, they gave first billing to the actor. we got few example going. dont know what happening to the industry

i dont trust YZ anymore. after watching this glory, thats when i started to realise most his drama storyline are very much female centric, female empowerment. i like female empowerment storyline but it has to be balance between male lead and female lead. but YZ is not making woman look powerful, but he makes them look toxic and a control freak. either he dont understand woman at all or this is his how he look us as a woman.. if there is second season, they only can save this drama by making LJL and RSB as a power couple, not one person has to accomodate another person. and focus with tea business and official politics rather than cat fight house drama. and honestly stop showing jade seal all the time. its kinda cringe…

I’m glad both TUS and Glory doing well. we can finally feel relieved. having 2 dramas airred at the same time , scary AF. i feel nervous for him too. i was scared when his screentime and character got nerf alot at Glory, but he really can carry the drama with his own strength. really proud of him! i hope moving forward he will get better script. better production team where wont use him to promote others *fingercrossed*

i understand. we prolly see it at different perspective. i hope in the future HMH can land a big and good project. i believe he will one day. soon or later

ya i never understand director’s thought process. they cast him as a first biller, they should have utilise his acting, skill, star power to make drama successful. but they decided to sideline him. for example LITC, they did a good job to make him shine in the drama, eventho The platform did a dirty trick to LiTC, the drama did so well. and its a win win situation for everybody, the production, the actor and actress. so i will never understand why the production team want to side line their own main star.

I won’t say Glory is a bad script, this drama has a lot of potential, same goes with his character. it just that too bad they nerf his character so hard toward the end. i dont understand the part where they didnt make RSB and LJL work together, instead they making RSB solve everything and deficit his purposes as Magistrate Lu. honestly it does not make sense at all. well i have alot more complaints but i still gonna miss his character as LJL. the character has alot of dimension. so i understand why he picked this script.

I completely agreed with you. these people campaigning in MDL page, creating negative vibe with zero outcome and solution to the problem. they are not solving the problem, they are just creating a drama. they dont even care about actress well being at all. i kept telling people, if they want to boikot, go to the right channel instead

just completed the series. overall I love the ending, I wish the happy ending scene is longer but thats fine. Lu Jiang lai looks most happy in Linji so i totally understand why he decided to come back with her. he can protect Linji while Rong shan bao becoming the tea king. For me its a good ending.

of course the storyline couldve be better, its a pity that we didnt see LJL and RSB solving the case together because they could have show power couple, but its Yuzheng. not a surprise. kinda unbalance, i wish to see more magistrate lu..

Overall, i love the cast especially HMH, i will miss his character as Lu jiang lai. because of this character i get to see him being shameless and cute 😂 great cast.
