yes agreed. i can see LM deep down in his heart, he still cant entirely let go brotherhood between them. thats why he keep conflicting himself. like todays episode, first when he saw XWY refused to agree with everything he says, he throw tantrum. when the doctor said he is going to die, then suddenly want to save him. if LM keeps letting his inner demon eating his head, it bound to be tragic ending. but i have a feeling that toward the end they will finally work together.
XWY has multiple time tried to guide LM to the right track, but based on previews and teaser, i have a trust issue with LM. i think LM biggest problem is his inner demon. He is not in love in XJY at all but in fact he hates that XJY fell in love with XWY instead, willing to do everything for him while she was totally opposite with him. He is just trying to prove the point that he is better than XWY for once. XWY is the crown prince, respectable and honourable general but he is literally the opposite. honestly i dont think he is 100% fit to the throne because of his unstable emotion but there’s prolly no other better candidate. so thats why XWY keep guiding him back to right track but i guess LM keep dissapointing him over and over again due to his inner demon. lets see if LM will able to make peace with his inner demon or he will continue falling to the wrong path? XWY we all know he wont be sitting on the throne. because he knows his life is ticking bomb and he does not believe sitting on the throne will able to keep the world peaceful. he is not patient enough to be on the throne and dealing with nobles family. i understand his POV thats why he said LM can achieve what he cant achieve. because he remember the old LM, who has same ambition with him. their relationship rather complex i must say. LM look at XWY as a rivalry while XWY look at him as someone who can protect the peace together. so how this relationship gonna end? we shall see. i wonder what happened with prince jiang suddenly killing grand tutor. cant wait for tmr!!
