Aiyo, poor boy worked so hard for the concerts and got accused multiple times by other fandoms. seriously this is getting nonsense. I saw few posts mentioned that he plagiarism. seriously i thought something big but fighting over conffeti/ribbons and messages? they probably coming from the supplier/company. do they have some kind of trademark for this?! i saw the messages, i assume they bought it from ticketing platform right, i dont see anything special about it because for those been to concerts, its not something new. so they are accusing HMH over this? loll idk why they are so triggered with HMH.

Ep. 25: Would've been a very good episode IF it were ALL true! But of course, it was all an act (as assumed by…
Even though you said you watched the drama properly, it seems like you still missed a lot of important things. Alright, since you want to talk based on the facts shown in the drama, let's talk about it.

1. Are all the spies captured?
Episode 13– During the conversation between the Queen and Eagle King, she gave a roster to Eagle King which contained the list of the hidden forces of Northern Qin. For example, Cui Jun (a spy disguised as Cui Jun), Prince Qi's consort A'Chan, Prince Qi's eunuch, and other spies in Jiakang Palace.

2. How powerful are the noble families?
Episode 23– During the conversation between Prince Jing'an and the Grand Tutor, it was revealed that the noble families held absolute power. They defied imperial authority, oppressed the people, and led rebel armies. This is why the Emperor decided to frame them to suppress their influence. Because of this, it caused the fallout between the imperial family and the noble families.

3. Who are the noble families' armies?
Episode 5– In order to become an Imperial Guard soldier, the requirement was to come from a distinguished family (the noble families). The system had been corrupt from the start—not only the army, but also the imperial officials and even the current Emperor's mother, the Empress Dowager, who only thought about power and the throne. The Emperor's mother even killed 30,000 Beifu soldiers just for the sake of securing their seat on the throne. The system was already rotten to the core from the very beginning.

5. What happened to the last Emperor?
Episode 6– During the flashback, after the An and Lu case and the fallout between the imperial family and the noble families, Northern Qi attacked Southern Ye. The Emperor personally led his army into battle, but all the noble families just stood by and watched without providing any support, which led to the Emperor's death on the battlefield. He was also poisoned by the current Emperor's mother.

6. Why will the death of the Grand Tutor cause an issue?
Even though he is retired, he still represents the noble families, and the assassination happened right after XWY/XJY/LM cleared the An and Lu case. Then a spy disguised himself as Prince Jing'an and killed the Grand Tutor in front of everybody. Why do you think they did that? For fun? Obviously, it was to spark chaos in Southern Ye. A military family's head was sent for execution for covering up the An and Lu case, and then the Grand Tutor was killed.

7. The conversation between young XWY and LM?
Your excuse is that it was created by the writer just to fabricate a plotline justifying why Li Mao is the right person to be the Emperor? I think you're starting to be nonsensical here. That conversation is about why XWY decided that he belongs on the border. It explains why XWY wants to stay at the border instead of taking the throne and why he feels LM is a better fit. Or else, what do you expect? That there was no need to clarify why he wanted to stay at the border? Don't you think it would make even less sense if they never explained his decision?

8. The time skip
The first time skip - XWY was busy reforming Beifu, while XJY was busy finding the mineral ore and fulfilling her dream of traveling around.

The second time skip - XWY was in a coma for three years, and XJY refused to go back to Jiakang because she was heartbroken. What is so hard to understand here?

9. Why not fight head-on?
I already explained this to you before. It's called strategy. Do you think every war strategy is just to fight head on?

My conclusion after chatting with you is that you've already made up your mind that this is bad writing. So it doesn't matter how much people explain it to you, you won't change your mind. So why bother right? Maybe because you have comprehension issues, or maybe you just haven't watched enough historical or war dramas.

Ep. 25: Would've been a very good episode IF it were ALL true! But of course, it was all an act (as assumed by…
Another thing, why don't they directly confront the enemy? It's to catch them off guard. The best strategy to kill the enemy is when they least expect it. If they directly confronted the enemy, it's like giving Northern the chance to prepare, meaning the chances of winning the war could be 50/50. But XWY won't take that chance. He is dying, and he could not leave any risk that Northern can win the war. Then he would pass away and leave Southern Ye to fight by themselves. So this strategy does make sense, even if it will kill his own people, including himself.

Ep. 25: Would've been a very good episode IF it were ALL true! But of course, it was all an act (as assumed by…
I think you don't understand the full plot. Let me break it down for you.

Before the Northern Qin Queen died, she passed a list of hidden spies to Eagle King. Meaning there were a lot of spies still implanted in the Southern city. Their job was to create chaos and also to get information.

Now let's go back to 20 years ago. Southern Ye went into endless war because of one tragic case, which was the An and Lu case. Northern Qin created the chaos, but the last Emperor and Empress of Southern Ye took this chance to suppress the noble families because they had a big influence in the imperial palace, including the army. This was a fatal mistake made by the last Emperor because the chaos created an opening for Northern Qin to attack them, which led to endless wars.

When XWY was young, he didn't know what to do. All he thought was, "I should go back to the throne and lead the people to victory." But his past conversation with LM (when they were young) made him realize something. Instead of sitting on the throne, he belonged at the border. His life mission was to create a powerful army that would fight solely for Ye, not for the Emperor, not for the noble families, but for the people of Ye. That's why Wuyi's whole life was about correcting his birth parents' fatal mistake, and he wanted to ensure the An and Lu case would never happen again.

Northern Qin is using the same strategy again by killing the Grand Tutor. He is the head of the noble families, and this could cause the same tragedy again, especially since the citizens already know that the An and Lu case was an injustice and that they were wrongly framed by the last Emperor.

Because of this, XWY made a final plan to end everything once and for all, which meant sending himself on a suicide mission as a spy to Northern Qin. In order to do that, LM and XWY had to stage the whole plan by showing the Northern Qin that Southern Ye was in chaos, displaying a breakdown between the imperial court, the Beifu Army, and the Xiao family. This would make Northern Qin think they had another opening, just like they did 20 years ago.

Now let's talk about the young Emperor of Northern Qin. Eagle King was a powerful minister. Compared to the young Emperor, who do you think the people would follow more? It's Eagle King, and he was the biggest threat to the young Emperor. XWY took advantage of this situation. In the young Emperor's mind, eliminating two threats would secure his seat on the throne. That's why, during the last war, the young Emperor had no intention of helping Eagle King. He actually wanted Eagle King to die in the war too.  That was the young Emperor's stupid move.

Since Ye had a secret weapon, the fireballs, the Northern Qin spies were not able to deliver the news to Eagle King because LM had wiped them all out in Jiakang Palace. XWY had no intention of coming back alive. He was willing to die for the country and end Eagle King once and for all. From the start, XWY never cared about his reputation. He did everything so he could help Ye become free again, even if the people of Ye did not recognized him as a hero.

Why was the young Emperor killed? Because of his stupid move. It caused rage among Northern Qin, especially when Eagle King died because of it. Technically, XWY's plan had checkmated all of them.

Yes, a lot of people died because of this act, but this is war we're talking about. People die on the battlefield, but they died for the greater good. This is why, during the opening of Episode 26, XWY already told his army that this plan was to deceive Northern Qin. The Beifu Army willingly went along with this plan because they were all prepared to die for it to work and defeat the enemy once and for all.

Just like his name, Wu Yi, means, "Who says we have no robes? We will share the same battle garments," meaning we live or die together. So he fulfilled his life mission by creating an army that fought solely for the people of Ye.

I really enjoyed the drama albeit it has it own issues but my biggest peeve is the disappointing fight scene in…
there’s no other choice. people died in wars. people at battlefield know that the fire may accidentally hit them. thats how much realistic the situation is . u cant think too long in war or else the enemy will get upperhanded. Wuyi has decided to sacrifice his life to ensure eagle king is not running away.

It was very very good, but at least a kiss was necessary to highlight the chemistry and yearning between the leads,…
in my opinion, This drama does not revolve around romance but is more of a historical, war, and political drama. This script had been shelved for 10 years and finally came to life because of HMH. He picked this script not because of the romance, but because of the character who was willing to do anything for his country.

I don't think a kiss was necessary to prove that the FL and ML were in love with each other. It's more about how they treated each other and how they walked the same path together through thick and thin.

Now that Express has dropped and all the episodes are finally out, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief. Y'all…
Same as you. I was so scared that this would have the same fate as the other drama, seeing how many international audience tried to boycott it and how some "fandoms" in China also tried to put this drama down. But I believe in good karma. I can see how much the production team put their heart and soul into producing this drama because the quality does not scream cheap at all despite the limited budget.

This is the first time I've praised the screenwriter and the director for being able to come up with such a great plot. I was scared that with only 28 episodes, they would rush the ending, but I was wrong. The last few episodes were literally the best, and it ended well. Even if the drama had a BE or HE, both endings would have made sense.

Because I was so anxious about the drama's performance, I was literally on Weibo all the time, checking the C-kiwis group chat. One thing's for sure, I finally got to see the power of C-kiwis and how much effort they put into supporting this drama.

Even though it's sad that we couldn't achieve a 9000 Heat Index, (IQIYI is being sus) the overall performance was great despite all the challenges. A lot of casual audiences actually recommended this drama and acknowledged HMH's acting skills and his ability to carry this drama. He really deserves a good project, a big IP, and more support because he has proven himself to the market multiple times with his skills. Let's hope he gets even better projects in the future.

But most importantly, I'm really proud of KTTPH. Really proud of the C-kiwis and international kiwis for doing our best to promote the drama. The MDL comments used to be very toxic, and now 80% of the comments are discussing the plot. It was not a smooth journey, but we did it!

I feel emotional typing this message Haha. 🥹❤️🥝

Does anyone know why ML didn't die, or who treated him? Maybe I missed it because I often skip parts; it really…
because you often skips parts thats why you missed alot of things. XWY decides to sacrifice for the country because everything was started from his parents action (emperor/empress). alot people suffered because of their decision. Yes he admitted, if not because of his head injury, he probably ascend to the throne , so knowing that he only has 2 months to live, he decides to do suicide mission. to end northern Qi once and for all. after the great war, he was barely breathing, LM is the one begging divine doctor to save him. in order to do that, divine doctor need to crack open his brain and chest. if you think about it, big surgery is not common during ancient times. because of that, he was coma for 3 years. like what he said in the letter, he is belong to be at the border, protect the country, while LM is better fit sit on the throne. LM is actually an intelligent young man like XWY. thats why XWY always try bring him back on track. I actually happy XWY noy ascending the throne, whole of his life has been fighting for the country, its time to give him happiness. like cdrama always said, emperor is the most lonely people in the world. his part is done, now LM part to retain it. for the royal blood part, please watch the final episode after post credit scene

How fast time flies, and today is already the express package day. Even though we weren't able to reach the 9,000 iQIYI Heat Index (not official yet), the overall results for Key to the Phoenix Heart have been relatively strong. This drama aired a week ahead of its original schedule, which put it at a significant disadvantage with very minimal promotion. Even so, seeing it still perform well across various data metrics is more than good enough. I may have missed some achievements because I'm still a newbie when it comes to reading the data performance.

A lot of casual viewers have recognized and acknowledged Hou Minghao's acting skills, and Aimi has also gained many new fans through this drama. Despite all the challenges, it still managed to win over audiences with its story and performances. A lot of C-netizen casual audiences also questioned why the Heat Index wasn't increasing because even casual viewers were helping to promote the drama, as they felt it was worth it and deserved the hype.

🥇 A-level broadcast and has now achieved an S+ rating!
🥇 300 Million Cumulative Effective Playback Volume on MaoYan
🥇 Top 1 on iQIYI (intl ver) in 13 countries & regions
🥇 As of now, KTTPH continues to dominate the iQIYI charts!
🥇 KTTPH has officially entered the iQIYI Popularity Hall of Fame (Popularity Index: 8722)

But nevertheless, let's hope the drama ends with a bang! 💥 See you guys after the finale! I hope their definition of a happy ending is the same as ours. 🤞❤️

I don't think Prince Qi is worthy of becoming emperor in Key to the Phoenix Heart, and it's not because he's a…
XWY does not believe that sitting on the throne will keep the world peaceful. This has been consistent from the start. He does not believe the Phoenix Token will guarantee permanent peace for Southern Ye. He is thinking about the long term. That's why, during his argument with FL's mother, he strongly believed that reforming the Beifu Army and defeating Northern Qi once and for all would give them permanent peace.

But he can't do that by sitting on the throne because there will be another issue to handle, which is managing the noble families. Plus, his life is a ticking bomb, and he doesn't have enough time. That's why he was rushing to reform the Beifu Army, and the Regent would be the one handling the state matters.

That's why he kept guiding LM back on track, not because he chose him, but because LM decided to be the Regent. LM's biggest problem is his inner demon, which is pride and ego. I guess he has always envied XWY since they were young. XWY was an honorable general, a natural leader, and now the rightful heir to the throne. He always misunderstood XWY's intentions, and he can't believe that XWY is a selfless guy with no hidden agenda. But the truth is, XWY does not have a hidden agenda. He just wants permanent peace for his country and to settle everything as quickly as possible before he passes.

I don't think LM is in love with XJY either. It's more about the fact that he can't lose to XWY. He always tries to prove that he is better. Plus, he has been manipulated a lot by his own father. I agree that, right now, he is not fully fit to be the next emperor because of his conflicting emotions, but it's not entirely unredeemable. Once he makes peace with his inner demon and works together with XWY, I think he has the potential to become a good emperor. But we're yet to see his next action, so let's see.

there's a scene where FL's mother asked XWY, "What if he does not deserve the position?" But we never get his answer. and the part where emperor gave the phoenix token back to XWY. We never get to see his reaction or conversation after that. Maybe it's a suspense for later. But let's see how it goes.

wait I'm on episode 19 and she's confessing and talking about staying so why does she leave for 2 years? wtf
because she promised XWY that she will create a weapon for them. She needs to find mineral ore for the catapult. This weapon will give Ye bigger chance winning the war against the northern. So it's a not a fun promise, but a duty promise to help Southern Ye to win the war. plus she also fulfilling her dream to travel around. But of course, if she knew XWY is sick, she won't be doing it. but XWY does not want her to be restricted because of his condition. It's more like letting her shaping her own life, so once he pass, he wont have to worry anything about her.

I think he wants to see how far LM willing to go. because multiple times people keep saying to him “what if he does not deserve the throne?” but we never get to hear XWY answer. so idk. either he still trying to save him or he is evaluating him whether he is fit to the throne. i think its the first one
