I'm new to the korean Heart Signal design (I've watched a couple seasons of the chinese version so it's pretty…
In this particular case it is to prevent the participants to make researches online about the other participants, to find out about their age, job, etc.
You have to see the big picture here. In Korea social status is very important when considering a potential spouse.…
You totally misunderstood my point. I'm taking about the influence over time of the social environment on the relationship in many aspect not just friends. The fact they "vibed" and lived together for a month means nothing. It was the same with many couples from HS and other shows and still things didn't work outside in the real world. Also having the same sens of humor is only details, in the end it is not what is saving a relationship or not.
JeYeon is an introvert and she clearly don't like to be the center of attention. She is not here to be an influencer, She is a young lawyer who will need to work day and night to establish her own firm and build its reputation. I don't deny the fact that your boat can work in the show but outside, the stats are proving me right. I recommend you to watch Couple Palace you'll see how sometimes Korean people discard potential spouse for really trivial reasons even if they like the person so don't believe HP participants are different.
The last part i totally agree with you. It is baffling that the same production team that failed 4 times to established long lasting couples, now have the claims to form married couples. So: Yes, in my book JeYeon/WooJae and HaNeul/JiMin or HaNeul/ChanHyung have better chances to last longer outside the show but they most likely will not this is Korean Dating Shows we are talking about and not the real ones like Divorced Single, the pure "fake", career boost, entertainment purposed ones.
I think when two introverts fall for each other its pretty much game over. So I can already picture Je Yeon and…
You have to see the big picture here. In Korea social status is very important when considering a potential spouse. JeYeon is a lawyer which means she is financially stable while WooJae is an artist and his incomes might fluctuate according to the success or not of his work.
Same thing with JiMin and Haneul. Not only Haneul is six years younger than JiMin (who's a Samsung employee) vs three for JeYeon, Haneul's job is more likely to be a deal breaker to him unless she is from a wealthy family or making a lot of money as a model. If not, only a man (in love or/and) with serious incomes (ChanHyung?) could still be considering her as potential spouse. My guess is both JeYeon and JiMin will go back to each other in Seoul.
Outside the show though i think things will not work for them. The reason why is they seems to be from two opposite social spheres. One is a very serious, introvert and work focused (she just established her own firm), the other is a Seoul socialite who can clock out of his job at the end of the day and join his group of influencers bros for a drink.
For those reasons i hope both JiMin and JeYeon will overcome their potential prejudices against HaNeul and Woojay and give them a chance cause while JiMin and JeYeon might not work in the long run the probabilities to do so for JiMin /Haneul and JeYeon/WooJae seems to be higher.
I absolutely cannot stand that Ji Min guy. He’s incredibly fake. He was acting extra during the entire date…
Neither I am. He is so bland, like he has no personality. He don't even look that good to begin with. I would no be surprised if he ends up leaving the show alone. I also find his fixation over JaeYeon creepy af.
The Symbolon Tarot prediction YunJeong made during the preselection in ep1 about Gold Dragon is so accurate and inline with the prediction SangHyuk made for her in ep3 for and what's happening now, it's scary. I hope she is still aware of both predictions cause it could help her to figure out quicker that SangHyuk is the guy she's looking for.
Oh please BFR. She had known the guy for an hour when they went on a date, she was sick, probably was still bothered…
Damn. People are getting offended out of literally thin air these days, that's scary. With all due respect maybe try not coming to a comments section if you're too soft to get your opinion challenged. Just sayin (not a sarcasm)...
yunjeong and the new guy date is so awkward 😭 the host must be tripping, there is no heart fluttering moment…
Oh please BFR. She had known the guy for an hour when they went on a date, she was sick, probably was still bothered HoAm asked YK on a date. And let's not talk about the pressure she's putting on herself about finding out who's the Gold Dragon is. Considering all those things, I'd say she was pretty receptive to SH and their date was great for a first one even if i think SH kinda scared her a little with his level of honesty and sincerity.
Confirmed so far by the show via a reveal sequence :White Monkey - GangWonM Blue Chicken - HyunWooBlack Horse…
"Yun Jeong chose Gold Dragon, because she thought they fit well". Yes and they'll fit well because... He's a Leo...
The fact YunJeong picked HyunWoo on night 1 and HoAm on night2 doesn't contradict that she could be the Red Rabbit. Just like i said if it was that obvious PDs would have already confirmed it with a reveal sequence still they haven't and keep asking the viewers when a man receive a text about being chosen by WD things like "Is YJ the White Dog that chose HW?", "Who is the White Dog that chose HoAm tonight ?"
PDs probably took the opportunity of White Dog and Red Rabbit choices overlapped to set up a big reveal/plot. It also makes sense on a producing stand point to not bring both the most popular picks from pre-selection on day1, especially if they're only ones to have picked each other on night0. From screentime to promo to narrative built up, everything pointing at YJ to be someone of great importance.
Since Female catfish will join the show halfway through, she probably received some kind of advantage to offset the fact she'll enter the house last. She probably picked HyunWoo on night1 based on his name or something else and HoAm on night2 via the same video method Sanghyuk picked YunJeong.
What PDs did was just hiding via editing the fact both the men were picked by the Red Rabbit and White Dog. It also explain very well why both the men that weren't interested in the Red Rabbit during the pre-selection decided to explore their option with someone else.
This is just a theory but a very strong one. Time will tell. My guess is it will be revealed either at the end of today's episode or next ep but still this doesn't guarantee YJ and SH to be endgame couple.
Confirmed so far by the show via a reveal sequence :White Monkey - GangWonM Blue Chicken - HyunWooBlack Horse…
Same. 24h ago i thought like many people YJ was the White Dog cause it seems so obvious but i felt something was off. I re-watched episodes 1-3 and i noticed it wasn't confirmed yet YJ is the WD. Which is sus considering it seems so evident. But then i remembered the pre-selection... Everything was under our noses this all time.
On night0 YunJeong picked Golden Dragon because he is a Leo. According to Astrology the most compatible partner for a Leo is either an Aries or a Sagittarius.
Thing is if YunJeong was the White Dog it would means she's a Scorpio but as an Astrologer YJ wouldn't pick a Leo because Leo and Scorpio are not so compatible. Instead she would have picked the White Monkey (GangWon) who's a Cancer, one of the two most compatible zodiac sign for a Scorpio.
According to the Red Rabbit birth date, she is a... Sagittarius and most compatible with... a Leo ! This is the reason why YJ seems so fixated on the Leo aka the Gold Dragon, because she is in fact Sagittarius, the Red Rabbit.
After re-watching Ep1-3 in prevision of Ep4, my hunch is YJ is the Red Rabbit and not the White Dog as the show leads us to believe. "Is YJ the White Dog that chose HW?" after HW read his text on night1/Ep2, "Who is the White Dog that chose HoAm tonight ?" after HA read his text on night2/Ep3. Like, isn't it obvious? It's very sus on a producing/editing stand point to keep asking the viewers those questions if it is that obvious YJ is the WD and if so then why wasn't it confirmed yet?
If this happens to be the case it would be mind blowing producing/editing level and it would mean YJ and SH could be "Fated" and the misleading editing was there to build the big reveal. Can't wait for next Ep.
Rooting for Chanhyung and Haneul. Am i the only one feel that jimin is always back on her mind?
Same. Even if i think its not a good thing for ChanHyung to be so soon that focused on HaNeul i think he is still open to the idea of getting to know other female contestants. Its the same with HaNeul in a more obvious way though. She is still intrested in Jimin but at least she's exploring her possibilities with ChanHyung. I really hope she is genuine and he's not some sort of plan b in case Jimin decide to come to her.
We're just 2 episodes in and the show is already an editing mess. the timeline is so rushed and so unsubstantial its giving me headache. Producers manage to kill one of the rare quality of HS4 : its warm vibes and cozy pace. Such a shame. In my opinion the trip to Italy should have take place near the end of the show not at the beginning. Introducing 4th guy so soon in such a poor manner is also a big L. They even manage to ruin something as simple as the guess who texted who game. That show is doomed.
Some participants so far are so stuck on one person it's annoying. Aren't they in this show to find someone to get married to ? How can they hope to take the best decision in the end if they don't give other participants the chance and opportunities to get to know each other. Thankfully ChanHyung and HaNeul were there otherwise i would have drop the show mid Ep.
The casting seriously lacks coherence. I have no problem with the fact they have casted a pair of mixed race siblings but let's be honest all the participants and panelists already figured out they're brother and sister. it's kinda ruining a part of the og concept and what makes the firsts episodes special.
I know its not a good thing to judge a book by its cover and i don't want to be mean but one male participant looks so out of place, more like an uncle than a brother and one woman has done so much plastic surgery on her face she'll give me nightmares.
Overall the cast in my opinion is too young to fit this concept in particular and the panel is to big and to formulated on the model of other dating shows. Pass.
Hyeon U’s embarrassment at channeling his granny’s thoughts was hilarious. I like the gold dragon. Am curious…
It was drama level comedy. For real a drama about a cute MZ shaman channeling his sassy halmeoni to solve murders and mysteries while trying to find love would be so fresh.
My guess is in episode 5 (day 4) on the same pattern as SangHyuk. I wonder if SangHyuk will receive a text from her at the end of ep4 thinking its YunJeong considering his reaction in ep4 trailer.
I hope not because its a thing to add catfishes to a dating show but when you have selected them based on their popularity in the pre-selection knowing who they picked and adding them i accordance to create chaos and drama knowing you're toying with your participants feelings is 1 a disgusting thing to do to people who placed their trust in you and you production team 2 not very inline with the concept of the show.
Is it safe to assume that todays episode marks the end of Ho Am and Yun Jeong ship?
YunJeong' s I ching fortune for the day (day 3, made by SangHyuk) is kinda accurate of her situation. "Rolling hill at field". In her situation it can means she'll need to let go HoAm in order for her/both of them to follow a greater path in life.
In this/her situation, it could mark the beginning of something big, a meaningful, something blessed. The fact it coincide with the arrival in her life of SangHyuk (the guy that made this prediction for her) could indicate he is part of this prediction.
Still this doesn't totally ruled out a potential HoAm comeback or someone else stepping in just like there is no guarantee SangHyuk (gold dragon) is not in fact the one she'll need to let go cause "Rolling hill at field" is like a clean slate. If it precede something good than that good thing will become the greatest thing. If it precede something bad it will just mark the beginning of a chapter of uncertainty.
It would be interesting to see what will her fortune for day 4 be if she ask SangHyuk about it and if she has made a meaningful decision about one of those men the night before.
Why haven't they added the tag that it's airing rn?
No I'm talking about iQiyi. So far there is only one ep, ep0/pilot with the panel an it aired not few days ago. So technically it's not out yet but maybe ep1 will drop next week. Isn't the version available on YT the Tencent MSR ? Not the same show. it might take time to see this one on YT with subs.

White Monkey - GangWon
M Blue Chicken - HyunWoo
Black Horse - RaYun
F Blue Chicken - YuRa
Gold Dragon - SangHyuk
Unconfirmed but most likely to be true :
Black Ox - ByeongYeol
White Chicken - HoAm
Black Monkey - YuKyung
White Dog - Female Catfish !!!
Red Rabbit - YunJeong !!!
If this happens to be the case it would be mind blowing producing/editing level and it would mean YJ and SH could be "Fated" and the misleading editing was there to build the big reveal. Can't wait for next Ep.
