We could pinpoint every one of his flaws with receipts but the defenders will always find guys like JeongMok (and bigger redflags) as much excuses as there is grains of sand on a beach. Nothing official but "Yes I Do" is usually aired like "now" (May to July) and it is still nowhere to be seen and nothing was announced (if it was pushed back or skipping a year). So my hunch is : cancelled. I know for sure "Let's Fall in Love" conducted castings and is suposed to air in September to November but there is rumours about that the show was cancelled before filming. We'll see but even tough the exact air schedule for a chinese dating show is usually revealed very close to it's premiere the renew status is at least known a month before and in the case of LFIL its still radio silence which is not a good sign.

100% agree with you. But it's not like it is fans or netizens fault if its no longer a secret ** & ** are most likely endgame. The pd team itself put too much of their sequences in the promos, etc its obvi they're favored and for a good reason, they probably are the remarried couple.

The first two episodes are mid. I'm baffled how a so experienced team decided to put so many uninteresting and boring filler sequences in their first two episodes. The fist 2 eps of S6 look so thrilling in comparison. Like " Guys wake up ! You only have 10 episodes and this is what you're proud to show us? Was that botched jogging "date" really necessary to film and air?"

I also hate the fact the pd team is obviously trying to create unnecessary drama by pairing group dates where there is crisscrossed interest. The opposite would have been more interesting to force them to get to know their fated date instead of focusing on their first impression.

HP was awful and a viewership failure. Everything was bad. The casting, the setting, the pacing, etc. Imaging being a pd team with so much experience (4 seasons of HS and more) and still they failed a so uninspired concept as basically HS 1.5. there is a reason why they're going back to HS5 after this show and not a season 2 even though HS5 is on track to be a failure too as long as Channel A and that toxic pd team don't reflect on themselves, what's working and what doesn't in a dating show. They also need to allow the right budget for their ambitions and spend it wisely cause they spread to thin with HP and it showed.

So true. Except Love Actually 4, this year everything is so bad with Chinese dating shows (better on Korea's side thanks to SI4 and BLTS but the rest is also mew) . Thankfully the GOAT is coming back soon and there's also Live and Love 2 that's about to drop but that's so annoying to see China either botch already good concepts and shows (MSR = dead, Exchange = dead, etc) or cancelling others (Twinkle Love = dead, Yes I Do = dead, Lets Fall in Love = dead, etc) because they can't compete with HS. Like BFR China, there can only be one King but it doesn't mean there can't be smaller shows. We will starve next year with just HS9, LA5 and L&L3 (if they're not both cancelled).

OMG same ! It looks like the show is trying to chase an audience more drawn to drama by creating a more drama prone environment and i don't like that. It will get very messy according to the trailer which i hope in the end is greatly exaggerated via editing cause personally, it is not why i watch this show.

OMG same. At first a thought i would have an issue with Lee Chae Min's acting but i ended up pleasantly surprised with the way he portrayed his character. Roh Jeong Eui on the other hand is a total mess'tery for me. How does she land so much roles ??? She has no range, same soulless, dead fish face the entire drama. What a waste of a role. That drama could have been a hit with a better writing, less male lead and female lead that can actually act...

Exactly, you can totally flip the narrative of a dating show just by editing out either some or all of the heart fluttering moments of a pair (in order to tone down their on screen alchemy) or editing out some or all their romance lacking moment (to make them look more serious about each other than they actually are/were).

Heart Pairing/Heart Signal toxic and untalented producers are infamously known to be extremely manipulative via their editing, its their brand. This show is nothing more than the swansong of a worned out and outdated concept to milk one last time the gullible viewers with product placements reason why the doubled down on them this season.

Channel-A don't consider this show as a piece of entertainment but rather just another stream of advertisement revenues reason why they're going all-in on the netizens favorite pair at the detriment of other participants. If JeYeon and JiMin are not endgame they will drag the plot of this pair until the last moment, to lose the shippers online engagement the later possible just like they did in HS4 with the fake MinGyu, JiYeong, YiSoo triangle.

No. You're right but for people who watched Heart Signal its not a surprise. It's on brand. They're always giving the majority of screen time to their favorite pair of the show (even if they're not endgame) they screen time ghost the rest and usually antagonize one or two contestants with evil editing to give the viewers drama and someone to hate and vent their frustration on.

Just like SI4 was "Sian's Inferno", this show has now become "JeYeon's Pairings" (no hate). I will laugh my ass off if production keeps juicing JeYeon and JiMin screen time till the end only to retain their toxic shippers engagement on SNS knowing she ended up with SangYoon, cause last time in HS4 it is what they did.

That cursed production team serving same bs excuses as ever for the poor coherence of their casting, their evil editing, favoritism and toying with the participants. The audacity they have to say the wanted to produce a different show this time, with long lasting couples in mind when at the same time they did the same mistakes and evil shit they did not for one, not for two but for four seasons of HS and learned absolutely no lesson from it.

They knew they were doing dirty to the participants. It's easy now to make excuses like " we, professional producers with more than 10 years and four dating shows of experience, didn't see coming the 10 to 15 years age gap issue". Like BFR! Who will be dumb enough to buy that shit. They purposefully made their casting with drama, tears and struggles in mind for a specific Korean audience of toxic knetz shippers and miserable persons to feast on the misfortunes of others.

And btw i'm sure at least one participant (if not more) is not really here for long lasting relationship or marriage. In dating shows, there is always a bad apple in the basket if not rotten.

Instead of running a hate campaign against someone they don't know shit about yet, those toxic worshipers should indeed question their favorite oppa motives and background, cause he is hella sus. Those who know, know who he is friend with. "Bird of a feather flock together" SI4 was like few months ago. They really learned nothing from the Theo situation, etc.

It was under our nose since the beginning. Look closely at the promo poster. There is ten pairing books in it. Six on the floor in front of HaNeul and JiMin. Two next to ChangHyun. The last two are behind the window between Jimin and WooJae. So there will be indeed ten participants in total. Now we need to figure out if the books placement is indicative of something or not.

To be honest, i think JiMin and JeYeon are just having a fling. I can't deny there is attraction between them but it is most likely on the surface, due to the excitement of novelty and it will eventually run out at some point.

With WooJae though everyone can clearly see the connection is (so far) more deeply rooted, slow paced but it's somehow building more durable foundations for a future relation outside the show. They're like synced slow BPM metronomes.

JiMin is like a fast BPM metronome that constantly forcing himself to slow down to JeYeon's tempo and most of the times the one initiating (same reversed situation with him and HaNeul for example). Ultimately those two things will result in fatigue from either him, JeYeon or both.

I read something about a promo content on an official website talking about "ten participants" and also there is like a preview sequence in which you can see a third bed was added in one of the girls room. Don't know though if the new male and female catfishes will join at the same time or one later than the other.

Oh no i was wrong many times even if not totally though. Yeah i have a tendency to over analyze details like the editing to try to figure out things like if the producers are either showing too much or too little of a pair of participants to hide that they will be endgame.

I dropped the show. The pacing is too slow and boring (the groups date episode was the death of my interest for the show) This and the fact i don't like to see my favs struggling. Still i made a final prediction. so we'll see.

This is not what I'm talking about but yes i agree. Financially stable men like ChanHyung might not care about the financial situation of the woman they like and also prefer a woman with a flexible schedule job cause it will maximize their chances to spend a lot of time together to solidify and develop the relation. With JiMin though it might be the case to but i personally think the fact JeYeon is a lawyer will make him even more blind sighted by this self fabricated image he has of her. He is kinda an idealist, romantic and immature in that sens.

I was wondering the same with HaNeul. There is that common say in Korea that young beautiful women who are pursuing a major and later a career in dance or other artistic domains are usually from wealthy families. So at first glance her job might scare a man like JiMin who is a regular Samsung employee or someone like ChanHyeong who might think at some point she's after a rich man. In the end she might even make bigger money than them just as a model.

At this stage, i think everyone is entitled to make moves on anyone.

JiMin seems to be blinded by a misconceived image of JeYeon and the fact he is so prompt to compromise his needs to fit JeYeon personality raise a red flag. Same with HaNeul. She seems so infatuated with JiMin based on so few and meaningless interactions with him, it tends to indicate her feelings towards him are shallow. When the excitement of novelty will run out, the real talks will begin and the deep rooted connections will start to form.

My ship is HaNeul/ChanHyeong but i don't dislike the idea of JiMin and HaNeul to end up together but so far i have not seen anything that made me think "Oh those two would make a great couple". Though there is many indicators that they could work outside the show like : they are both E, both socialites. She is younger, he is still a little immature. She fits his friends circle. They are both clingy when in a relationship. One have a flexible schedule job = lot of time to date, etc.
