Even if its highly probable there is no proof yet BH second text is from YN. It could be from JY which means second text of WK could be from YN (WK's ex?). YN definitely can't be BH ex since there is an interview of her talking about she think JH is BH's Ex so the only reason for producers to hide BH's second text is if its not from YN. This or pds are hyping a big nothing burger.

Am I the only one left very puzzled by ep4 texts part. Why hiding YN's text to BH if it was already established they're not exes? Also in his interview BH didn't say the name of the person he's assuming JH's text is from so maybe he think it's from someone else. If he got a text from YN (something obviously from her) and he got the message *your ex did not pick you* he could assume his second text is from JY cause for sure he knows JH is obviously into YS. But what if he got no text from YN... Wouldn't it be plot twist?

I think and hope the producers are cooking here. What if YN did not text BH and his second text was indeed JY. It would explain why WK's second text and ex's pick was also not disclosed cause YN (his ex) picked him that night. It would also totally explain why some texts were not shown the first night. Night1 she picked her date WJ. N2 she picked WJ again. N3 she picked WK her ex. Meanwhile WK picked YN N1 instead of his date, JY. N2 he picked his date, JY. N3 he picked MK his date.

It could also totally explain why BH is starting from "nowhere" to be interested in JH (that pedal to the metal alchemy between those two is leaving me speechless tbh), because YN doesn't text him so he's starting to explore other potential connections. Maybe so far the YN/BH ship is greatly exaggerated by editing to deflect our attention. Maybe he is not that serious about YN (its been only 4 days) and maybe she is more into the idea to get back with her ex than her attitude make it seems (same with JH/YS ship). This season is cooking so far.

JHxBH 90% (because of all their interactions, to specifics to be just due to akwardness and editing. Respective story inline like no other participants)
JHxWK 0% (because his ex seems to be younger, a student/broke. WK is conservative and according to his ex "revealing clothes" was an issue betw them = young = YN)
JHx WJ 0% (too little interactions = no building from the pds on a storytelling pov. Might be interested in JH too)

Its because pds can't cut the interactions between the two because it would create an unnecessary hole in the story telling. They did the same with YS&MK they still needed to keep some interactions/reactions in order for the viewer to play detectives. BH and JH reactions are way to strong to be just editing, not like previous seasons where the early interactions were confusing but still on the spectrum of awkwardness. Here, we are clearly in a cold war/treatment/battle of nerves situation. Also it was clear from the beginning in S2 Taei was JiYeon's ex it was the same with GyuMin and HaeEun or NaYeon and HeeDoo and just like s4 a lot of their "exes energy" interactions did not get cut.

Nah it's ok I'm not like those toxic shippers being triggered by someone else opinion because the end of a show didn't meet my expectation. So yeah they were my ship and it sadly sank but at the end of the day everyone is happy with their life now so I'm good with it.

Oh she will be drama for sure. Let's be honest here in S3 SeoKyung totally torpedoed YuJung & JuWon ship. It was also his fault cause he fumbled by not giving YJ enough reassuance but SK was really the one who originated the tear that lead them to their end. I'm glad JH is not the type to back off like YJ.

They were not allowed to pick ex for the first date. But on this side i'm more concerned with the fact she/MK sent her text to WJ and not her date BH (maybe him and JH are to obvious) and you can see her in the show trailer asking to talk privately with WK. I think she will be the Pokemon fan of this season "gotta catch en all". SeoKyung will lose her crown imo.

Same I'm baffled when I read people saying he is YN ex when there so little and weak proofs to this thin air theory. With BH & JH, i think editing is useless because every little action and reaction from them speak volume.

It's impossible for their reactions to be a pure product of editing and since it would have been to suspicious to cut all their interactions, i think producers have decided to go with the flow of the narrative hoping viewers will think its too obvious to not be an editing trick.

Let's not forget a dating show is always built with the full story in mind, so the other reason why the producers probably made that choice might be because BH & JH after many provocations will have a big argument in ep4 exposing them to the viewers so it's now or never for the producers to create some sort of build up before the reveal.

YuShik is also a model. BaekHyeon also work in entertainment most probably on the producing side and JiHyeon also work as a commercial model. So they could use either of those titles.

The two episodes drop on the same day in Korea i think, it's international platform like Viu that releasing them on different days. There is production reasons behind this particuliar schedule. My guess is we'll know why in ep4. Its storytelling related.

There is other few scandals but the bigger one is : a female participant in season 2 was the mistress of a married producers and was threatning him to expose the situation publicly if she wasn't cast for the show. The scandal still blew up after filming and pd team had to edit her out from the show while it was airing if i remember right.

The chances BaekHyun and JiHyeon are exes are very high. They are both working in entertainment. He acted in few web drama like "Dear.Ex" for the platform "Shortime" under the name "Seong Baek Hyeon", She's a little bit more successful but act under FN Entertainment with a different name "Cheon Ga Young" or simply "Ga Young", she is 27. In 2023 she played a support role in the drama "Oh! Youngsim" alongside "Marry My Husband" Song Ha Yoon and "SuperJunior" Lee Dong Hae. She also worked for SBS.

I was talking about BaekHyun Lol YooShik can move on with another girl than JiHyun, I need her to go back with her ex >_< they're my ship. I think YooShik would make a good looking couple with YunYeong. Plus there's still 4 participants about to join the show. 2 at 1/4 in and 2 more 1/2 in so anything can change.

I don't think he is as over his ex as he pretend to be. He's clearly pulling a HeeDoo imo. They're is a reason behind the fact he didn't had a serious relationship after the breakup with his ex, why he hated her so much. Why he reread his letter or smiled after seeing JH cried when she read her letter (as if it was good new for him, like a proof of lingering feelings). He even considered marriage (and kids) at some point of his relation so in my opinion it means he and his ex dated for a long time.

Also at the beginning no participant decide to set the clock to 100% over their ex and in the trailer there is sequence of him crying and few other of him having an argument with his ex. This is 100% NaYeon/HeeDoo coded. There is probably a lot of resentment on his part and a lot of pride on both just like NaDoo. Let's hope they'll make sparks for the best.

Oh please be for real. You really think JMZ would handle this situation the same if they knew for sure LC was innocent or he and LuYuan were indeed a post-show couple. What would be the purpose for JMZ to promote them as a couple while preventing them to come out as a dating couple knowing not only it would kill the scandal and backlash in the egg, prevent them to loose subs if not greatly boost their sales. The only logical explanation here is they're not dating and JMZ payed them a fat check (good for LuYuan who's still a student after all) to shoot some fake content and keep their mouth shut a little longer. Same situation as GaoYa last year but different outcome cause JMZ learned their lesson and decided to put an additional NDA to some participants.
