This season is a producing catastrophe. Reaching boring asf new lows with each new episode. The fact this show is sitting at the same score as S3 and less than a point from S2 is baffling considering the abysmal quality difference. Director should resign after this mess. TvN is probably calling Lee JinJoo to the rescue for S5 as i write this. On the participants side, the women are literally carrying this show. The men are just a bunch of typical Korean red flags with the exception maybe of JaeHyung and WooJin. I don't see the show redeeming itself with its second half. It sank to low imo to indicate any real signs of a come back. Another season like this one and people will not even care if the show is cancelled. Sad. Thank God, Korea keeps launching new dating show concepts every year. Go watch "Noona Is a Woman for Me" it's really good so far and great example you can do a lot (and not boring) even with little runtime and a short filming schedule.

I've read something similar but i don't remember where... Oh yes ! It was "a catfish will appear around ep 11-12 an shake HaeEun which will make GyuMin uncomfortable... " Funny how those "rumors" keep changing like total 180° in accordance to what happened in the last episode. When YS/JH were "sailing" it was "YS/JH eg for sure" now that YS no longer seems that much interested in her and it looks like she has no other serious option come the rumor of the last "HyunGyu"/male participant savior. How convenient it is... Pure fabricated not even original BS made by some fans and shippers imo even though i hope a happy ending for our comedic queen.

Yeah sure but let's just knowledge the fact almost all of them had a serious "new person" option to weight on their ex final decision. It's retrospectively people who hadn't both options (ex or new) who ended up alone like JiSoo, JiYeon, WonBin, GyuMin, KwangTae, HwiHyun, KT's ex I don't remember the name of.

There is nothing in this show that scares more an ex (to the point of not taking the risk to start something with someone new and instead getting back to their ex than the possibility of their ex finding durable happiness with someone new and them missing once and for all the possibility to go back to them if things don't go well with their new person.

This is my take, this how I feel things. I wish I'll be wrong though but I had that kind of hunch for three dating shows now and i was right three time (I'm not taking any pride in that cause its a curse for my favs)... Well remember better then cause in S3 DongJin ended up with HyeWon and he never dated her after the show and got back with DaHye even before the show aired. Projecting what? Facts and opinion? BFR please. I guess I'm the better person here since I'm not the one accusing the other of projection or ulterior motives just because i can't stand someone else opinion. I 100% hope to be wrong, but yeah i think I'm gonna be 100% right. Stone me for that if the great humanist you are can't stand it...

Oh don't get me wrong I think JH is very beautiful, bubbly yes, a little weird but it makes her charm, plus she has a lot of empathy and she is a girly-girl. She is a 10/10 in my book tbh but yeah i think she doesn't dress well and kinda act older than she is (i think mister conservative man WK is not stranger to this).

This show is taking place in Korea, with Korean men and i'm sorry to wake up some people from their "drama oppa" delulu dream but Korean men are often complicated and can be turned off by the most ridiculous thing you can imagine. Everyone here still remember the SI4 swing incident, the panel comments and how it ended up for the girl.

Chill out kid this is just a television show... You are way to much sensitive and invested in someone you don't know for it to be healthy. I have said nothing wrong, this is my opinion deal with it or not idc. Back to the subject. Maybe she will end up with her ex but for me it is her only option and it is more up to WonGyu than her and honestly i'd rather want to see her leaving the show alone than with someone who will soft dump her post-show to go back to his ex. Feel free to come back at me for you gotcha moment if i'm proven wrong...

I have an unpopular opinion about JiHyeon. I think she will 100% leave the show alone. I think her too much/bubbly/weird personality is a huge turn off for the male participants. Plus she kinda dress older than her age and not very well imo. She's for sure not at her advantage here.

BH doesn't care about anyone else than YN and his ex. She is clearly YS plan D after his ex and HJ and a potential new girl. WJ wants his ex back plus JiHyeon apparently friendzoned him. New guy will not care about her if he is into more youthful women and it will probably be to late for the last guy (if there is a sixth ex couple to enter the show cause there is no guarantee of that) and considering this season filming period was apparently shorter than S2&3. She will be the female WonBin of this season imo and will sadly have the same fate.

No she didn't. The first half of MSR was flawless. The dynamic got ruined later by two participants not the production. Let's also remember two siblings did the production dirty by cancelling their attendance days before filming, so they had to urge the first pair of catfish (Choa and CheolHyun) to enter the house Day1 (reason why the awkward parents dishes dinner Night1 and Choa couldn't reschedule with her work so was barely in the house at the beginning). This was also super impressive for the first iteration of a show with a solid concept.

Yikes... The more the show unfold the more the rumors and leaks are painfuly proven true. Sad cause the eg rumors are not good and K&Cnetz seems to be accurate this year. This is on track to be the worst season (I had the same bad hunch with HS8 4eps in and I was right). We need Lee JinJoo Pdnim back ASAP, current production team and director totaly lost the plot with this season. We're approaching second half of the show and almost nothing happened vs S2 & S3.

Some of this year participants are very suspicious indeed to the point it looks like some of them are just following the script production wrote for them. Something is definitely fishy with this season. According to Korean street BH is a f*boy. Rumor says HJ also dated a lot of guys after him and ended asking him to join the show after her first and second pick declined the invitation which leaving me thinking she might also be toxic to some degree.

Really?! The subs/viewership might be bad or not as good as expected and with last week boring a** episode the hype has hit its lowest. TvN is most probably panicking rn. Maybe a lot more spoilers are about to leak on Sns too, this or they know S4 is bad and want to end it quickly to move on. They're for sure scared of their product not being able to compete with SI5 since they keep rushing this season to avoid being in frontal with SI5. I'm sure Jeju(Japan) time will be boring mess and the show will be obliterated by SI5.

People complained a lot about s3 but at least S3's men were mostly genuine. I fear we'll never see again a cast as good as s2. Now there is so much dating shows participants who lack freshness and came prepared (sometimes with an agency behind), with their own script in mind about what to do or not to gain that sweet sweet screentime. (MSR, SI4, HS8) just to name a few.

I personally dropped the show and probably will watch it skipping boring scenes when the show will be over in january. I fear for the viewership though cause SI5 rumoured start to air mid december/early january with a longer season. There is also a lot of good drama about to air this month/early november so the competition for my limited screentime will be tough.

Not bad but not very promising either... I think the show already crashed. So little happened in five eps vs S2 & 3 I think things will move quick in the next few episodes then everyone will be stuck to one person ex or not until the end. I think it's the reason why this year trip is to Japan and not Jeju. Pds tried to save the show with an expensive plan B but it will not work. It will be a two pair of exes fighting and their friends show. I predict a serious case of A wants B (his ex), but B wants C who wants D (his ex) who wants...

None of them will give a chance to someone else. We are five episode in and i think a lot of the participants in the house already friendzoned eo and the remaining catfishes will not change anything. There will be a lot of screentime favoritism (priority to the drama). Show will end up with two couples, one new, one ex. The new one will never date outside the show and one of them will go back with his ex.

This show is done. Particpants are now to aware of how it works, how to navigate the korean public opinion to their benefit and how to use the program as a career launch platform (genuine or not about getting back with their ex). Everyone come with their own script now. This is a challenge many dating will have to face in the upcoming years.

I dropped the show ep5. The ballerina demonstration scene, the karaoke one, the mother sidestory no one asked about, the mastermind attorney who suddenly become extra stupid for plot purpose I can't... Also too much comic relief and too obnoxious (the driver, the maid, the chingu, the "on the spectrum" brother, the school principal, the town #1 enemy, etc. It's too much. Is this a "Hometown Cha Cha Cha" ripoff or its own thing.

This could have been a great drama if it was longer than twelve episodes and wasn't full of idiotic moments and plots only there to serve as filler. Meaningless sequences are stretch for the sake of content duration and meaningful moments that need to be properly developed are disrespectfully rushed. The mix of extremely opposite genres (comedy and thriller) is not only ineffective here but detrimental to the overall qualities of the show. Its clear the original script has been rework by someone who did not like the serious tone of the og scenarist.

Damn! that ep5... Usually dating turn bad and boring past halfway but somehow this one managed to do the same only 1/4 in. Not very promising for the rest of the show imo. Something is really wrong at TvN since that last spring awful spin-off no one asked for. Someone surrounded by "Yes man/mam" is taking awful producing decisions and it starts to show. That trip to Japan instead of Jeju was a terrible idea. If somehow the show manage to be as successful as seasons 2 and 3 it will only green light way more major stupid changes to the original formula to the point it will be irrecognizable. 2025 is really the cursed year for dating shows...

I saw it to. I don't really know what to think of it tbh. The fact they will have a date in Jeju (or japan this year apparently. I don't like this change btw) means nothing really but the matching outfits throwing me off (it is not something a man already involved with another woman (new or ex) would do and if you add the timing of the leak, the trailer of ep5, what JH said in ep 4 about YS, JH and MK sequences from the trailer of the show, the early rumor, etc. Everything is strangely inline and i don't like the story it's telling. If next episode or ep6 its revealed YN is really BH's ex and not HJ that early egs rumor will be proven if not true very believable.

JiHyeon is such a character. Cute, funny, bold, with a personality... Everything Korean males are scared of. She will 100% leave that show alone. All my favorite girls from this year major dating shows ended up alone... This one will no deviate from the rule I fear.

She's for sure not afraid to show her worst.
