This is not very plot twisting imo. Yes Pd Team is clearly forcing this narrative but no one is buying it really, for good reasons. Like you say, you can clearly see/smell something's off with this "love triangle".

If Pd Team really had faith in a SW/HJ reunion, they wouldn't have casted an almost identical participant as SW, worst an almost carbon copy of HJ's ideal type (some idol) with an opposite personality than SW's. They wouldn't have sent HJ as first to enter the show followed by YJ like they're the main character of some BL drama. Pd Team was clearly gunning to replicate a Junseongho here. Imo Pd Team knew from HJ's previous itw and behavior during first filming YJ would be the only one for him.

We have to remember that even if HJ picked SW to go on a date with it doesn't mean he picked SW first or a a second choice because his first choice was already taken. Also after this date, HJ stopped pursuing SW, they wasn't eo eg pick and they didn't even rekindled their "situationship" outside the show. SW's actions is even more telling. He came to the reshoots with HJ date card and a Pikachu pajama knowing its HJ favorite character. SW was clearly going all in (with not so much hope) when he asked HJ to go on a second date with him. You can sense he knows deep down he doesn't stand a chance but still willing to try one last time. From the moment he panicked after YJ picked HJ as his roommate to when he called SN instead of HJ it was clear for me his perfect plan failed and he fold almost immediately. he said it himself in ep3 " it wasn't supposed to be like that". I fell bad for him really he is my second favorite participant. I hope he will find true love with SN or someone else outside the show.

The last canon ball in this ship imo is the editing. You can clearly see the extra care in editing is put on YJ and HJ even though a lot of their interactions are cut out. From choices of music to what is shown and what is not, to speaking volume little moments like glances, smiles, etc VS almost monolithic sequences related to SW/HJ.

Its on X too. I saw it. It really changes perspectives when you flip the photo. The fingers and palm lines patterns of the other hand are looking a lot like YJ's. It can't be a coincidence. If it is, i'll fall on my butt.

YeonHee would never do something like following his bestie's boyfriend while the shows is airing and before the SNS/public dating ban lift especially in that small world of the Korean gay community where everyone knows eo and even more in a crowded gay club where everyone has a phone to take photos. HyunJun signed and NDA and both know this could get HJ into trouble like penalty fees (they both had to fight recently to get away from a contract with a bad influencers/internet talents company). My guess is they have acquaintances outside HJ and the show and was following him before. I saw that scenario a dozens of time with many dating shows and it always was nothingburgers in the end. In fact YeonHee also follow Taichi and HyeongJun.

The theme of this season seems to be the red string/thread of fate theory. All three favorite couples seems to relate to this theory. The still in love exes, The ones who evidently fell for eo on the first day and The silent slow burn one. All three fated to be no matter what's getting in their way: events, people or fear.

The second casting last only few weeks apparently. Production had no choice. The reshoot schedule was too tight. Reason why they had to call back all og participants an MinSeong from S2. I think the og plan was to completely start over or maybe with only half og cast but it failed in process.

Apparently, next week there will be no phone call, the gift thing will count as it because that night will be dedicated to the anonymous chatroom event. I'm pretty sure HJ will give his gift to YunJae. Here's why.

In HJ's preview sequence you can clearly see in the last few frames, MinSeong's mailbox is at his shoulders level. The tallest guy after HJ is Taichi and even he had to bend a little to put his present in HanGyeol's mailbox (on the same level as SunWook's mailbox) but HJ didn't bend even the slightest and that dude is tall asf (almost 6,25 ft/1,90m if i remember right).

Also in the first ep1 (preview teaser) you can see a close-up shot of YunJae's "Love/weather report journal" dated December 5 so night #2 (First day was 4/12) and if you translate it, it says something like he's happy cause he and HJ got closer. It stops there in the sequence but maybe he kept writing something.

So no matter what happened that day/night, things went well for YJ and he was most likely given reassurance by HJ at some point even if he doesn't know for sure it comes from him (with a present the same night maybe) because if it wasn't the case he would have written about it in his Love/weather report journal. HJ is his only chance to receive a gift (JH and MS gave theirs to HgJ, SM is going JikJin to SW and TC and HG picked eo).

Personally, I think the producers perfectly know what they are doing even though they're not doing it very well imo. The plots are crystal clear predictable in what its shown and what its hidden to try to fix a "boring" filming. They had to work with it to make it entertaining and sell (and save) the show. You cannot really make wonders out of something mid sometimes.

Catching up with the show im on ep 5 and let me say something : This show is now so hijacked by closeted gay men chasing a career in entertainment or influencers status its becoming ridiculous really. SeungIl is so obviously gay. Last time i saw a man so afraid to sit close to a woman or touch a woman was that actor in season 3. Even JongHoon in season 4 tried a minimum to hide it. About HyunJae. You really want me to believe a man looking this good would not attract (even momentarily) a single woman participant. The woman instinct of the female participants for sure clocked his bottom energy. Even Pick Me Sue doesn't want him its kinda telling. Nevermind i go back to my binge...

Trust me everything from producing to editing is screaming "built around them as main protagonists". Even if i still doubt they might leave the show alone because not sure of eo. The evidence is piling up. For example: it is the second time the episodes are ending with a preview in which the biggest unspoken question is "Is HJ will pick YJ" (the present thing) when they could have emphasize something else like YJ saying to JH he wants to know him and he is his second pick, their date sequences and hide JH clear intentions to reunite with HgJ but they didn't. Pd Team knows HJxYJ ship is the carrot that makes the donkey move forward, that create discussions online and is the show's main locomotive.

I Fu**in hate when dating shows do that. It makes no sense So stupid, waste of filming crew, time and money. Two triple dates instead of three double was a dumb idea.

You make no sense chingu. They're obviously toned down by editing for plots sake to make it look like the other guys have a real chance. In this sequence HJ is the one initiating the skinship why would he do that if he's turning YJ down or having feelings for SW. It also takes place way later in the show most likely after his date with SW and the bedrooms shakeup sice they are in the big tv 3 beds bedroom.

Like i said before HJ's seriousness might be just because he's trying hard to keep it cool after he took the courage to make this move. in Ep4 EHJ said to LHJ you can only be sure the reason behind HJ actions if it comes from him and him alone and not a reaction of what you voiced because it might come out of politeness and HJ said in itw he didn't call YJ out of politeness because he called him first.

I don't think HJ will be the initiator of this date with SW because HJ already voiced he would like to go with YJ despite the fact SW was here. Also there will be random dates at some point (its in trailers). Finally if producers were sure about the chances of success of a SW and HJ reunion they would have sent them first and second. Instead they decided to send one of the new guys who (coincidence!) not only looks exactly like HJ's ideal type (Why bringing a second better SW?) but has men like HJ as ideal type. Producers know from first filming HJ is "I" & picky asf and has ruled out all the previous filming men.

What a boring dry ass season even The boyfriend 2 is better at this point. Filming #2 must have been a catastrophe if we only end up with ten episodes, already full of meaningless filler sequences, and we're just at day2 out of 7 in ep 4. OMG. This is gonna be a torture to watch. I already don't give a f*** about the outcomes.

It's so painfully evident producers are milking the ships like HyunJun and YunJae ship by cutting out their interactions to farm the engagement on the show. I'm not falling for this propaganda. Same shitty move all Korean dating shows are abusing to artificially create buzz. I'm sure they will keep thing like this until the last two episodes. I'm dropping it, I'll just read spoiler on sns from now. What a disappointment.

Yep. 100% sure. Discret but not closeted. Yeah he did, this was the reason behind his break up with Junseong. He cheated and got cheated on by HJ which led to many break ups til the final one. They were so incompatible especially in bed (ChangMin is a side, while HJ is top) they'll for sure be happier with other peoples. This relation was bound to fail.

Yeah he's gay too. Both brothers are surrounded by hot gay guys Single Inferno level so I will not feel bad for princess YunJae if HJ don't even look at him after ep2 I saw what's YJ is used to pull and HJ is average in comparison. To be fair ChangMin is a redflag too he cheated on Junseong and cheated on HJ too. Yeah i agree but i think its only to serve his plan/cover he's for sure not seriously interested in anyone but HgJ.

Well he is covered in luxury brands so it was kinda giving. His bro is hot, he won against SI4 Yuk JunSeo in a tv show about boxing if i remember right. It would be cool to see him join HisMan5 if things go well for his hyung. TBH even if i like him HyunJun kinda has a reputation where he is working but still lets give him the benefit of the doubt could be false and if true YJ could be the one who will fix him. I think so too that breakup things is sus asf but to be fair its not like they dated for a long time it lasted a month at best before reshoots so its not that hard to break up at this stage of a relation even if it hurts.
