Don't remember who exactly. It was from a promo slide. The one in which HJ picked YJ as Heo Dang Mi type and YJ picked HJ as the tsundere type.

So true. People are freaking out about this date like its from the current show an has impact of the reshoot timeline. Well it doesn't. It means and changed nothing really. If anything it proves things cooled down between HJ&SW. The real test will be HJ&YJ's date. I think YJ will shock us all with how bravely he will pursue HJ and win him over. There's a reason a lot of other contestant are calling him " a rascal"

We also still don't know about "why HJ suddenly changed his mind about YJ after ep4 or if he really did tbh". It should be adressed in the upcoming episodes and the reason behind this change is not what it seems to be. So personally I'm really unbothered by HJ&SW's date #0.

In ep2 HJ said he was curious about the newcomers then if there will be returning participants. He put the newcomers first in his sentence. In psychology it's called a first-mention bias. It indicate a primary cognitive focus. His priority at the time was meeting new peoples (but the Pds could have asked him to rephrase)

In same ep SW said he partially came back for someone in particular. He didn't get the chance to connect with this person , is curious about him and he'll try to present himself better and make an impression. For me it's giving HJ stopped pursuing him after their first date which is weird considering how well it went.

SW grand plan is proving me right cause you can clearly see SW went all in to conquer HJ. First date card, Pikachu pajamas, Pikachu gift, "love" letter, learning to cook HJ favorite recipe, etc. Its not the behavior of someone who is the one who distanced himself from the other but rather the desperate attempt to make someone fall for you because you failed last time.

Also considering the evident downgrade of the two HJxSW dates and what happened in ep7 with YJ. I'm confident HJ will give his chance to YJ and things will kick off from there. With SM in the equation it makes even more sense. His perseverance with SW is a clear sign his interest in SW was at some point of previous filming reciprocated and things are still possible for those two.

So the reason why Pd team is making HJxSW eg obvious now by dropping their first date is because HJxSW eg will be obvious in the next episodes..? Make it make sense girl. Well why bother to make it obvious now if it will be in two days if not to make YJ fans to quit the show..? Wouldn't that be counterproductive considering they're a huge portion of the viewership ?

I personally think the timing indicate quite the opposite. Pds would have dropped it sooner in order for people not to invest in HJxYJ ship but they didn't. They kept it until now and releasing it now to stir the discussions online probably because dropping it later would no longer make sense and be out of touch if HJxYJ sails in next eps. Just like with HgJxJH's date. Pds Team probably dropped it this early in order for people to move on as we"re getting close to the end and HgJxMS might start to appear in next eps as eg. Doing it later would have been unfair to HgJxMS and cruel to JH.

The narrative online since last ep was already "SWxHJ are eg" doubling down now makes no sense and only hurts viewership. In fact the ideal scenario would have been to air this first date next week after HJxSW's third date and HJ has rejected YJ as a way for people to realize HJxSW always were the perfect match since previous shoot and they should not be sad for YJ cause he never stood a chance.

Only with participants, because they're the only ones who signed the ndas and currently are under SNs ban. Friends and family usually do not speak about spoilers out of respect and to not get their friend or family member into trouble. First, the chess board photo on valentine's day, now the mutual following of HJ and YJ's bro only few days before next episodes, potentially the most pivotal moment of YJ's journey in HisMan4. This is the safest way YJ has to tell his fans to not give up on him and HJ really. I don't think YJ and his brother would play with that if YJ ended up being rejected by HJ. It would be cruel.

It's not clear yet if Feb 20 we will get ep8 only or 8&9. Schedule is a mess atm. We also don't know if the show is 12, 14 or more episodes. One thing is sure: it's confirmed the single episode thing could happen again if needed.

You can't see it in english subtitles since its a Korean word that has no equivalent in english but you can spot the many 형 (Hyung) in the Korean subtitles. HJ said "Hyung ! Hyung ! is it awkward for you ?" in a playful way There's even an miss translation here HJ didn't say "because i'm older" since he's one year younger than YJ. Right after you can hear YJ's being shy. HJ has game for sure It was intentional.

In Korean "Dongsaeng" is "younger brother" and "Hyung" is "older brother". Playing either card means to tease someone about the age gap. Some Korean no matter their sexual orientation like when a potential partner is older or younger than them.

Yeah during the night talk clip on Youtube, HJ called YJ Hyung two time in a playful way. It's from night 1. Maybe i should have said playing the Dongsaeng card by calling YJ Hyung.

I think it's time for people to move on from this sequence. This is not what we think it is. It's obviously bait Pd Team is using to bring people to the show cause they know for sure the huge majority of people would tune in for the innocent man (just like Hwi in s3).

Producers know they messed up beyond repair. They know what's coming. They just got caught recently whitewashing (in promo) some participants YJ fans are preemptively attacking after some awful rumors. No Korean dating show producers would bother whitewashing non eg participant, simply because they can't make money out of him.

The fact Pds is desperately putting YJ in a lot of miniatures and thumbnails for sequence he's not even the main topic of discussion is also screaming "desperate". Wavve decision to push episode 8 is clearly a sign they're trying to either buy time for people to cool down or milk the subs (not working). They lost viewers trust and the deathblow of this show could be YunJae (unfair) elimination or worst him staying in the game to the end and being miserable. All they can do now is to delay the inevitable to recoup the maximun money possible...

The show viewership is most likely a disaster. It remained number 1 on iQIYI for the first two weeks and top 10 on Wavve. After episodes 5&6 dropped, the show exit both platform top 20 for Wavve and top 50 for iQIYI. Wavve even launched a special 50% offer for 3 months sub. The show's hype on SNs is on life support with only few comments per hour on X and barely more than twenty edits per day on TikTok.

I'm personally more concerned by the fact production team was ok to ask two participants who were dating eo at the time to join the show again and basically put on an act. Didn't happened cause they broke up but still it was Pd Team plan A. I also wonder if they are the only "ex couple" in here cause i read something online strangely believable when you think of it.
