I heard that iQIYI’s CFO has already resigned, though I’m not sure if it’s true.
Honestly, if it is, it’s well deserved. Compared to other platforms, iQIYI’s drama quality has noticeably declined in recent years, and they don’t seem to care much about their dramas anymore not just CZY’s, but overall.
Like… sir? What are you even doing? Producing dramas that don’t match the budget, with no proper promotion, unclear air dates, and zero sense of urgency.
With such fierce competition between platforms, they should be far more proactive. Otherwise, they’ll end up losing both audiences and subscribers, which is obviously not good for the platform.
And what’s wrong with selling your dramas to Netflix?
Many of CZY’s dramas are tied to this platform such a pity.

I’m wondering which brand it is on January 31st.
January feels so boring without him right now.

I’m not sure either. I don’t see them holding fan meetings but many of them do have concerts in China. There might be some regulations that prevent fan meetings though I could be wrong.

CZY hasn’t held any fan meetings either in China or overseas but iQIYI has used him to promote the platform and organized events in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
These weren’t actual fan meetings but at least fans could meet him in person.

He’s trying not to be typecast. That’s why he accepts a variety of roles instead of sticking to idol dramas, his choices speak for themselves.
He also transforms himself for each role which is why we can’t see any trace of DJX in FSG or even of his real self.
Many people may like him because of DJX and expect him to behave the same way 😂 but that’s completely not the case. After following him for a while, I’ve realized that there’s no trace of him in his characters at all even the way he speaks is quite different in each drama.

I don’t know about the dubbing schedule either.
He went back to Shenzhen with his mom after the Celine event, so I’m not sure where the dubbing will take place maybe Beijing.
Let’s see if he flies back to Beijing again. If they don’t let him dub his own voice in the drama, I’ll seriously curse the production team for wasting such a big part of his talent 🫤

Fated Hearts is the costume drama that made everyone realize CZY can do voice acting 😆 Because he has a modern, boyish face, many people say he doesn’t suit costume dramas. Still, he wanted to improve and accepted this role.
Thanks to the production team and everyone involved for making such a great drama except iQIYI. Not you. You didn’t do anything, you just broadcast it 😑

Fans have said that he looks much healthier now compared to when he was filming JSWP. During that period, he was extremely thin because the costumes required him to stay slim along with the tight schedule.
He naturally has some baby fat on his face which can make him look immature for the costume drama, so he went on a diet to appear more mature as well.
He was only truly happy when he could eat freely again after filming ended. Poor thing.

Yeah he always says to trust him and not to worry about him too much.
He just wants his fans to be happy and not fight with others because of him hahahaha.
