It's possible, as I recall YZ reshooting the drama with the new ML for only certain scenes. They used extras for CZY's scenes in that reshoot. The drama is female-centric, with no major scenes between CZY and the new ML, I guess.

Yes, it's a pity, but 🐧 can't completely abandon the drama since they invested so much in it. Initially, they considered using AI to replace ML's face, but it didn't look good, so they decided to reshoot with a new ML instead.

August is still summer in China.

In the previous episodes, yes, he appeared thin, but in this episode of RT, he seems more muscular after training for the new drama. Or maybe it's just my perception.
