well... if you are used to "BLs with shiny-perfect people and all of the drama driven by contrived external sources, where people fall in love because one trips, the other catches him, and they stare at each other until they turn gay", you might get bored with this. The same counts, if you expect the series to drag out of you the emotions and overflow you with passion and emotional turmoil (and emo-blackmail). It is all about preferences, but I guess, we who are watching it still are devoted and surrendered to fate in this.🙂🌹

There is this difference between creating believable simpleton, and unrealistic idiot. I dare to say i know what they wanted to create, but the execution does not work with me, at least not yet. What you mention in the 1st paragraph is something else and i did not refer to that in my message at all. Writing - as in the script or as in the novel? I can't speak about the novel if there is any since i haven't read it.

ok, THAT couple i would understand, albeit only from morals of today, since historically, it is accurate, happened all over the world, and the kids were even younger... i was shocked too, but i was like - wow! they are brave to portray it on screen in these days, runing exactly into this problem - but still, wow, impressive. I guess he is 14. And what I believe they plan is either killing one of them by the end, or postponing any sort of that action for 10 years later 😁 anyways, i was worried it might be about the main couple, which was surprising choice for me too, making her 2 years older - love that actors are the exact opposite - but it would be nearly non-uderstandable for me that *that* would cause the difference between the shows. bcs how not significant are those 2 years (again, love the topic of single mother here!)
