I am still processing the mentions of Zhao Yuan Zhou having feelings to the main female lead Wen Xiao that on the romantic side of love (and the other male lead only supporting its possibility made it even worse). Maybe it was tranlation and in the original it was way more aetheral or unspecific, but i just can't get into it after, at the moment pondering over how did it these two meant (around episode 16). (Should i even get into why it does not fit into my perspective? I feel i could delve a little. I specifically remember our demon mentioning and refering Wen Xiao as sister or little sister? But overall that arc sit for me - he saw her as younger sister he needs to protect and take care of even bear her for Wen Xiao's master, i would be even less disturbed if suggestion of romantic perception was made towards Wen Xiao's master and our demon than this. But even if i scratch direct mentions, i feel she has over him way more power if she is not - and he is not - romantically involved. The same problem i had with Wen Xiao and Zhuo Yi Chen - he called her aunt, she is supposed to be older and even taking care of him after his famili died, and all of a sudden they are linking Zhuo Yi Chen with her in possibly romantic relationship. SO SHOULD I TAKE IT SERIOUSLY OR WAS IT MEANT AS JOKE ON US? And i don't mean the provokative flirting that was on us all the time. But here i got lost, help please.) And since what i have seen between the two male leads already, it is difficult for me to imagine it can get any better. " not just for Omegaverse but most BL series " - i was more refering to the out of omega stories as i haven't consumed so many from that specfic genre. I was as well not having anyting specific in mind, just my life of reader run throught my head and there wasn't so many memorable stores that would stuck in memory and were like... TNP princess like style or seriously taken damsel in distress. Although if you really want to nitpick, you can probably say that that element is to be found in every (BL) story indeed - more or less.
