It is freaking fire. I am here mainly for Zhao Yuan Zhou and Zhuo Yi Chen, the show proved itself for its Wen Xiao-Pei Si Jing ship, and i love it, because u can find here wise calm heroines. But best not come with expectations - or do it the othe way round - come after fmv research. I will have difficult time doing any hierarchy of this between WoH, Guardian and thankfully, Eternal Love of Dream is full fledged hetero, so no need to. Ba) This series is too good to do it to us, Bb) I study and analyze and learn from this series, so i am absolutelly prohibited to so so, Bc) the bromance, the sismance, the hetero couples on hypothetical levels, the friendships here, the antagonists, even the side sub stories are too good to skip. In short: i cannot. 😁 So i have the wave to ride out first to not skip; i would run through it, which would help a little, but for that Chinese series are too long and too good, so i learn and train patience. C) What you describe (and Yichen did) is in my frame a demon who can have anyone and everyone, and even can stay loayl to those he has chosen to be his. That is perfectly fine. I don't always regard higt pansexual relationships, i feel many times it is an excuse for multiple cheating. But with repationships like have heroes in this story - the strong bonds - i have no problem with a pansexual relationship. What i tried to protest against in the last comment (and only beause it gets worse and worse in the episodes i do now, and only because i feel bad reading it in a way that is not now portrayed for me in the story itself) is the created inbuilt inequality that happened and is for some reason pushed forward now. I would say without hesitation in breath Zhao Yuan Zhou would give his life and soul and more for Wen Xiao, even if this was a BL and his partner would be Zhuo Yi Chen... or Ying Lei or Li Lun, so we don't use only the only one same poor dear deer :D - in this story and because of how it is told. And that is because of love. And it would not bother me at all. What bothers me is the estabilished fignificant imbalance now. More so that in features our dear demon is indeed portrayed the typical BL way. Or Bi at least. Or more like pan. (I don't doubt others would point paralels of two demons and heterosexual couples too.) And obviously with every character their dynamics would be slightly shifted and without one they would miss. It would be missing. The witty partnership of Zhao Yuan Zhou and Wen Xiao, the everything BL chemistry between Zhuo Yi Chen and Zhao Yuan Zhou, the human fighters set in reality rel between Zhuo Yi Chen and Pei Si Jing, irresistable excitement and care and tenderness between Pei Si Jing and Wen Xiao, the may be between Xiao and Yi Chen, it is all there. So why did they chose to make official one over the other ones so much rn? U see, in case of BL and historical context, they could never make it open between all the guys, so it is salt into wound to make it open between hetero couple afer all this.

But every time since the love confession from Zhao Yuan Zhou to Wen Xiao i stop myself watching at vulnerable scenes, every look now, and even the episode mid 21 is just not helping a bit. Now analysis is due for me to only whine like a baby. One of the problem is - I love Wen Xiao and see her as stronger if she is without anyone and definitelly without Zhao Yuan Zhou. I love on Zhao Yuan Zhou he is not the typical at faces falue demon - that he is interesting and is so since first moment. The same goes for Wen Xiao - she is very interesting when showed vulnerable and not transparent (when she is mysterious, not readable easily). Wen Xiao has it beautifully weaker and feminine version, Zhao Yuan Zhou has it way stronger and demon version and as we know a little about their pasts, that way makes it immense sense. As well it beautifully shows how legens are born, not only how they are when they pop on screen. I have zero issue creators flirting with the everyone-w-everyone idea, i can imagine that working. But the way they put it explicit just between two of them just put bit stop to my imagination. The contradicting part is - in the positive way i see the intro for the characters the same AvenueX spoken about (for her, it is a bad thing). She as well told this is the story where a woman is just used bcs censoder adatations were no longer option in China. She saw 1 and 1/2 episode, i have seen 21 and i found her judgement too quicky and highly probably based in different criteria. A find Wen Xiao the wisdom if the light while Zhao Yuan Zhou is the wisdom of darkness. I would enjoy it more without one open confession, because if what AX said and Wen Xiao was really puppet girl for a gay story, then making then and there would kill it and would make no sense. From China's perspecive no love stroy in a fantasy must be way better and have way more chances than inserting one where there is no need to have any (or i am wrong and this would pass censorship easier, idk). Anyways, did anyone else faced the same issue? And I tell you, i loved the open interpretation just because Zhao Yuan Zhou is a demon and i would have zero issues with not spoken out threesome. But this feels like Zhao Yuan Zhou and Zhuo Yi Chen stans were left behind. I am suffering here, ok?😢 Don't kick to dead meat, please. 🏳

exactly; Hua Yong was exceptionall, Sheng Shao You obtusively firm, Gao Tu was exactly where needed (❤) and Shen Wen Lang... 🤦♀️😹😹😹😹 i did not expect GT and SWL to meet after and before the hospital vomiting, was it in book, pls? Anyways, it sat perfectly, showed what i would expect to be showed even for second main couple after such earth shaking (pun un-intended) events and extended nicely where we are supposed to land. What an episode ( my shock realising not any more until Wensday you can imagine 😭). Happy about this. As well, i imagied from trailer the book scene to be abt something completelly else and puzzled like this tgt was a pleasant surprise. Love it! ❤
