Oooh, Oh, you mean this – I see. But everywhere a show is built around a basic set of emotions, and sadness is emphasized, they tend to overdo it in the end. Sadness, as a temperament, is grounded in being non-aggressive and negative (low arousal, negative valence, low dominance), so the shows keeps replaying this aspect. I would as well say first half was more lightness and banter and security and flirting, which contrasts with at least the episodes i am watching now but predict it will no get better much. Hence is suggesed narative shift.

That is a freaking standard, what i hate about shows or stories generally that only the tragic one deliver true feelings. /sighs/ I know, I am mental too. ...ima gonna measure teard only after all. But i guess many of it is due showing the demon's humanity. And yes, most actors can cry "on comand" and if not or it is not working at the moment, they have ways around it. 😈

Interesting question but I'm afraid if we try to compare we would compare uncomparable because I love both of these series separately for things that the other couldn't be. And then we will get to the personal preferences of genre and sub genre and time and what each of us love in movie making like if it is costumes if it is time if it is wuxia or fantasy vs realistic life setting there's also enemies to lovers tropes vs boss and employee and various royal kink/fetish stories. As well i guess this is poorer production, but even if not they had to invest to much into setting here while in RL they could invest it into somethhing else. To put it simply: no, i don't.
