noooow, i have seen some and sme fights with them too, but nothng worisome to make me traumatized. well... that rl news about snake eating a human woman did a bettter job out of it. But... yeah. Not necessarily hp fan really, more like slytherin fan :D
π’But i can't really have bad feelings towads snakes since Slytherin, you know? It is in my dna by now. (That, and i skiped good portion of early episodes, so my exposition is minimum. π)
I felt like I was kinda third wheeling them π€π₯ΉWe're going to get heart broken very soon π
hey bt pls, don't take it to you heart, i am just high from chinese series and didn't really meant it, was just snotty spoiled little brat before. π
I've seen the post that said that the author of the original novel (Chai Ji Dan) now thinks of her novel as problematic,…
or that WSW is like a spoilt puppy, you just touch it, but you will not hear the end of complaining. but really, it is better to be careful after. even if u might be read as oversesitive dramaqueen.
I have some criticism regarding today's episode. This isn't the first time we have seen Chi Cheng be forceful…
ok,tired, not gonna read all replies - a) the early on scene i agree with you, b) the todays scene you refer to i don't (as much). It can be interpreted your ways, and /or other ways too. Your ways is indeed diturbing, what i believe the author was on about though is that CC was as much disturbed and out of his mind as you are afraid Da Bao was hurt, while it was not "forceful", it rather was alighned with their push pull dynamics both characters get excitement from and are comfortable with. + WSW was still physically discomforted rather than mentally, hence the postponement from his side, which made unsure and insecure CC. All in all i read this scene not as act of violence which i wholeheartedly disagree with but rather an act of despair (and the despair was on CC's side, to be transparent). Aside ranting and nervousness (Da Bao) and later shyness/shame for being caught, i don 't read Da Bao as having issues with this for which i have no issues with it. I am not projecting myself or other violent cases on their story which makes me enjoy it fully. Because the line what is acceptable is truly somewhere else for every one for us. It might still be triggering for you, and given different settings/circumstaces, it might be very dark drama, not light passionate male/male romance. It really depends.
ikw? Maybe go check out cultural context then what is going on and to what extend is and everything is gonna be clearer after. But if u wish chinese full on f.e. rape, DM, i will send sou what you should watch. Chinese series used to be pretty explicit before 2016 and later censorshps. Based on how you word your comments tho, you don't know anything or what a miracle is such explicit series as this one after the second big wave of censorship. Then again, more explicit series do exist in China. Just not current ones.
that moment when xiao was mumbling someone's name made me very worried... I just love his character and the fact…
LOVE YOU LOVED THAT SCENE TOO. I was like : nooo, ppl will complain again, not like this, please... and then they you-know-what and i was so much cheering because they deserve better. π Can't wait fo them at the same time i don't wan't their story to be rushed either.
OK, can someone explain to me, pls, what was Chi Cheng putting to Wu Qi Qiong mouth to take it back again? Wu Qi Qiong seemed to know but i can only guess. Anyone here cleraing the confusion, pls? tysm π
2nd par: WSW not having a problem with it is also a problem would be portrayed differently IMO.
2nd and 3rd par: see par 1 and 2.
Side note: All your emotions are very valid and even if you might perceive it through different lenses than it should have been and projecting other things through it to make it the final product for you - it is valid too. Hence your conclusions. Hence your dis/like of this series. Do it with series you like and i will be completely happy,π, still we might not do the same things with series mentally, but I believe we both understand each other in full and in kindness, which is good and rare, despite interpreting based on different frames. Ano, absolutely don't listen what other say - art should be interpreted individually, based on you, not someone else. Same goes for entertainment. Thank you for nice discussion.π©·
