From someone who’s spent 60 years+ on this planet and claims such a long-standing relationship with the English language, I expected a different style of communication—one that grows beyond sarcasm and performative irony. Maybe even a touch of empathy or the ability to grasp broader context, rather than reacting solely to what happens to offend ones ears.
But clearly, I was expecting too much.
