This one had an awesome and interesting story going on, but then that story went out the window. It did try to come back to it, but it was no longer important and started to follow your generic historical drama route.
The "low rent" product soaps are actually more profitable in Korea for TV audience. Many household watches these…
To come in "prime-time" drama (the one you're familiar with), you generally have to be lucky or a so-called "A-lister" actor/actress. Yes, they can charge around 100M+ won per episode if they’ve got star power. In a soap, they might get 10M+ per episode, but those can go easily up to 100 episodes, while in prime time, you're lucky to get up to 16 episodes, and your appearance in each episode depends on the script and story. In daily soaps, the production is small and fast, and you get more airtime. So, becoming a household name is easier, which will make them an A-lister, and these people generally won't play in daily soap drama!
Well, at the end of the day, it really comes down to the local audience’s preference and which format they connect with more.
Dude, you will need to stay away from the Korean (or world) entertainment industry if plastic surgery gets on…
nah using your logic you will not find any well established actor actressess in any countries industry that you will like. Like your preference it is her preference to chooses plastic surgery!
If you have not watched any old Koeran TV soaps, you will not be able to watch this 😆
This drama has everything! When I say everything, I am not even kidding, all the tropes you can name will present to you in the first half 😆Just with a little modern twist!
For me, it was like a door to the past, I haven't watched something like this for ages!
I would never recommend people to binge-watch this or something like that. This type of soap is great to watch, like you watch a series on TV, like 2 episodes per week, something like that. Otherwise, you will be frustrated to the max when you watch this😆
I have a question about what has to happen in the life of a Korean actor to go from a drama like Mr. Queen to…
The "low rent" product soaps are actually more profitable in Korea for TV audience. Many household watches these daily and follow it rigursiously.
Only in streaming sites where the number of options are so many and the production cost is way high for the small episode numbers, these TV soaps doesn't work there.
Honestly, I don’t like her. Was she not confident in her own face?
Dude, you will need to stay away from the Korean (or world) entertainment industry if plastic surgery gets on your nerves. There are now a handful of people who have not done any work on their faces in the entertainment industry and much more in Korea, where plastic surgery seems to be norm for all people.
This is one of the superior writing! It is so different from your regular story which just says fuck it and goes full-on idiotic romance route throwing the entire plot into the trash! So glad I decided to watch it!
At this point, I think c dramas have a knack for making a beautiful story but ruining it with a shltty ending…
I was thinking of watching another C-drama, the one I watched before had a bad ending too. And seeing all the comments here this one falls on same category 😅
I frequently read the Manhua of a similar plot and it was a fun watch but they seriously should not have created this as a short drama. There are lots of scenes that do not make sense but I get it that it comes with the genre but the ending, damn they should not have gone with that ending!
who the fuck stores porn in the hard disk nowadays? If you really wanna play real insult game I am up for it. Not like this "you trash" game. It is pathetic!!
The comment section with people with delusions...if there is a good "romance" that touches your heart, then you can throw away your brain and ignore the entire 40% of the plot!
Not only the audience, but it started with the shitty writer in this drama! Absolute waste!
The build-up to the dark revenge-romance type is scraped away by showing some good chemistry between the actors. Dafaq!
It had every element to be the best drama ever released. Still, it chose to be your generic romance drama, where the MC and FMC are like glue in the later episodes. The story already does not matter, and some tragic thing will strike them, and bam, they live happily ever after.
(there are some CGI issue even if it is low budget one they forgot to CGI in few places 😅)

Seems like this type of plot is very famous with the female audience, seeing the comments.
I love how Korean movies revolve around a minimal environment and is able to produce such an impactful movie.
So glad I decided to watch it!
It was all fun and game until that end for me.

Like most generic BS plots in the drama universe.
