I am a fan of the cast till the end, they did an awesome job, but the script, what the hell was that? Was it actually written by AI or what?

I loved this! At least they followed the normal flow! Which means brain-rot romance lovers will not like it! (Well, it is a romance k-drama in the end, so who knows, you might be a normal person?)

I loved how they ended this, the main climax! Did not follow your soft, half-baked ending that k-drama follows!

It shows they actually gave a thought to writing and did not rush it! I rarely like writing in a K-drama romance genre, this one is one of the rare exceptions!

It is 50 episode? Ooh, can't wait for what more drama it will have! I am thinking the "(grand)father" might appear as that 1 scene of the grandmother did not go anywhere.

We know the stepmother's "child" drama will happen soon, too! I am so much enjoying this one, yeah, chemistry between two MC is not just so bad (heck, they are not even MC in this drama!)

Also, the cast list Choi Min Seo [Tutor at Yang family]! Damn spoiler? As we have not reached that point still!

I honestly didn’t understand the point of the story at all. What was the author even trying to convey? The director did an excellent job with the visuals and made great use of the available material, but the story itself just felt confusing and poorly constructed.

There are other stories with similar themes that manage to connect everything coherently, but this one just doesn’t make sense. The initial plot point, which kick-started the plot, feels like a complete mess and lacks any solid justification. Every event and major decision factor feels forced, with no natural flow at all.

Overall, it feels like style over substance: visually impressive, but narratively hollow and inconsistent.

The end is so forced.

It was a very good movie. It would have been better if they had done a little open-ending like end it when MC looks at the plane.

Mother of coincidences. They overused it. It was going perfectly. She is questioning herself, his life haunting him, but what? They went with the most cliché of all?

I had to go back to the episode 2 and saw her there, she has like 4 second of screen time. No, idea if she had screen time after that.

Also, the original novel is not for the modern audience 😅
Every chapter is face-slapping, but it goes a little extreme with everything violence, logic, and BS. Like for the long time people who gets beaten to pulp are all woman 😆No mercy.

I didn't find the original translated into English, but there are tons of copycats of this theme. But the one that this series got adapted from is really different.

it is around 8.0 for me too, yes they did drag the 'romance' part a little but rest of the plot still goes smoothly and make sense in this series!

She also lost lots of weight it seems. She is so thin! But beautiful nevertheless. I first saw her as Child artist in Pinocchio and then in Our Beloved Summer. I only register it was her around episode 10 😅

Does this novel has translated version? I am sure I read this novel in English (or not?)

Well, I liked this, and yeah, ignore all the -ve comments. MDL is a classic place of die hard brain head romance lovers.

Recipe for Love is her second show I watched after Doctor Strange, and I was unsure whether it was her or not. But she is so beautiful and looks so young in this new series, too! It turns out she debuted at a young age as well

SML has very few scene and impactful one I guess but it is not like it did not fit the plot from very early episode it was shown he was interested on her, I think before ML was interested on her as well.

Yes they drag this little plotline little too much and made it the main focus but it was seriously not out of the place.

If it is Romance drama and if it is not "perfect" romance they won't like it here. It is the same pattern in all the drama. And if they focus on "lovely dovely" only, logic and plot does not matter. They will defend it till kingdom comes!

This drama made no sense at all. If they were trying to prove a "point" of "move on", that shitty plot line that changed so much on a whim failed massively. The ML's state at the end, the ML and FL's arguments, and the backstories feel so disconnected from the series and also the divorce itself. Like, why even have MC's sister written in the story? That character just does not fit anywhere! She has like 2-3 scenes with a few minutes of screen time in the entire series, but her character breaks the backstory altogether!

I thought it would redeem later on. As the title of the show was obvious, I was just waiting to see how they would do it! But heck, the plot did not exist at all; it was so all over the place, none of the side stories made sense, either!

I realized after watching this that I have watched all of the Kang So Ra shows after 2013, on her profile page, all her drama list had an edit button 😅, and her projects are all weird, where she does not have any of the "redemption" arc for her. I knew I would be disappointed once again, and I was massively.

I was confused. I remember watching it in a longer episode format, but it turns out it was stitched together from short episodes.
