No, office politics were like, what, the first 2-3 episodes? It was totally focused only on the fashion vendor/trade. Nobody mattered after the first plot reveal. Also, the way everything gets resolved, except the first over-order part, was amazing. But others, nah!

The entire office, business, and deals just revolve around MC and the assistant team lead. Others were not even contributing to anything, just worker bees.

Ha Yul Ri's character got a little bit of focus towards the end, but that was it.

What a disappointment this series was! Didn't add anything to the main plot device, like freakn nothing! I loved the cast. They did an amazing job! But what can they do if the writer are just that bad!

I forgot this was a K-drama at the end!

Writing was not its strong suit! It dabbles way too much in fantasy for my taste. The plot was way too predictable, and it should have ended in her recital. The impact would have been so much better. His line: "I want to fulfill her dream. Since I don't have it." This would have been so powerful.

I never said about the series, I was talking about the marketing they have done till now!

But when we see something like age-gap couples, you see the majority of comments on this site against the actors themselves, not the plot, but the people behind the acting!

MDL users say to differentiate between fiction vs. non-fiction! Are just hypocrites! You can search for any drama with an age-gap relationship. Not even, like, the gap is decades apart! Either be real-life actors with an age gap or in the plot! Those comments will be the ones that fill the comment section!

“It's not for everyone”? Heh? It’s been a very basic drama so far. Also, that mindset shift only happened in the one scene I mentioned. After that, it’s basically a normal day for him. Heck, he has to grease his shoes even more for the company than any other “manager” (team lead?) out there, while the benefit-to-reward ratio doesn’t even come close to matching up!

He was given even more bullshit tasks, and he still couldn’t really do anything about them. If anything, he’s still playing by the same corporate rules as before.

Now, we might finally get to see some of his newfound fearlessness in the auditing storyline. Auditing someone you know or work closely with can be difficult because of emotional attachment, workplace relationships, or simply the awkwardness of having to point out their mistakes. That hesitation might not exist for the MC anymore because his newfound wealth means he has nothing to lose. He can finally be like, “Yeah, I know you, but I’m still going to audit you properly, and if you don’t like it, whatever.”

That’s the kind of consequence-free attitude I was expecting the "jackpot" to create. So far, though, the show hasn’t really done much with that premise beyond that one scene. He became even more caring towards his co-workers and junior who gave 0 respect to him!

So, all he had to do was grow a spine! I know that’s hard in the corporate world, but whatever he did hasn’t actually been affected by the jackpot at all. Like, his pushback was just taken normally by the director, and his team got to keep their work.

Nothing has been “extreme” in the way it was shown at the start something that could be attributed to him having no fear anymore, like, “I don’t care, I don’t need this job, I’m already rich.” That seemed to be the premise the show was building around.

The only scenario where he actually gave this feeling was when he was offered the job by the model which again can be taken as a generic reply you say when some flaunts their money to your face.

Exactly! Like what is this drama brining to the table! Till now it is so confusing, either it connects to the local of South Korea or this drama just is plain old business drama with nothing more to add than very good corporate worker MC.

Prime Video is doing marketing on steroids. The clips in social media didn't match the actual show, and now they're trying to whitewash this series through these types of articles 😆

No, he wasn't right? like first 2 episodes says he wasn't? Like, his family loan or something?

What is the MC's angle? I like the drama, but what is the deal with MC? All his "change" is just 1 outburst and doing even more good and hard work, which is not rewarding to him at all?

That scene where he says, "join" him, I thought it indicated, like, a rebelling or something type of arc, but it turns out: let's do even more hard work where no one will value your hard work at all!

Thats why they dropped it at ep 1?

From what was revealed until I watched, ML is just holding back due to the emotional burden he feels towards her, as they literally grew up together and cannot emotionally reach the point of letting her go.

This is good, but going back and forth about money, then again not about money, was just bullshit and weak writing! (BTW, what happened to that money? I forgot 😅) And also after the main reveal it was even more useless plot!

Namkoong Min and Kim Dae Myung carried the show! I also felt the ending was kinda weak. It started strong, went haywire in the middle, and started to add every cast member to the mess!

I only watched for Namkoong Min but stayed due to Kim Dae Myung. But felt the writing was too weak for this. I don't get how people say it is one of the best they have seen?

This is clearly not for me. The only good in this series is ML. I have not caught up to ep4, which seems to move the plot forward little, but sadly I will drop this.

These 12 episodes series is starting to tick me off. There is no proper storytelling or proper exploration of any plots! Just one scene, 1-2 lines of dialogue, and a scene that could have been impactful just gets over before it even starts!

It is just a time-pass watch. It genuinely started as an interesting plot!

Yeah that part did not made sense at all! What type of time travel even was that!
