feels like trying to garner the -ve PR at this point. And all the things the writer said were just praising their own work in some roundabout ways.
They know it would cause controversy from the start, and if the actress was ready for that, then I don't see a point in defending her. They know that China is a critical market and sponsorship and such will favor that market.
They were ready to have strained relationship with China from the start, by using their name in the show.
The slap/kiss genre should not exist at all! If it was in the "soft" side, then okay, but to actually go to the extreme and say all is well at the end by the victim? This is some next-level degrading bullshit and people who enjoyed that, what the hell!
She, out of nowhere, falls in love with him...after all he did? Yeah, there might be a hidden plot in the past and all, but wtf she fell in love with him again so easily? Like that, and she loves him? The heck!
That's why these short drama has no quality or volume in the story! They always rush without a logical decision in the plot. This was getting good, but not for me. Gonna drop after this ep 16, we can predict the plot from now on too.
I watched both but forgot everything about them, and many of the actors and actresses whose dramas I watched recently worked on this, so just for that I am gonna rewatch it :)
