ikr that's not a prison cell that's a bedroom, while PWX has to sleep on a tiny mattress π
fr I love their dynamic so much, they seem like friends and that means that they actually have things to talk about and have interesting interactions. When she was calling him bestie I couldn't help but laugh aloud. They are truly like a married couple.

I understand where you're coming from in this opinion. I'm not really interested in arguing about the point of her "cheating" on the ML. I think that there are a lot of interesting conversations to be had there, but I would prefer to wait until more of the drama has aired to form a full opinion on this topic. The point of my comment was to share my opinion on an aspect of their past life that I didn't see discussed, and to bring attention to the fact that neither of the leads are intended to be perfect characters and both made mistakes. I'm not trying to defend LR in her actions, and indeed I find her actions less understandable than PWX, as I did mention in my comment that I sympathise with him.
So She slept with him because she felt pity? Like the princess felt pity and slept with someone?
When I wrote this comment I was expressing my interpretation of the drama and the characters. I'm not trying to assume. That's why I explicitly stated multiple times that it's my own opinion and interpretation. As this is a creative work, it is up to the individual on how they want to interpret and perceive it. What I wrote is just my perception of the drama and if you disagree with my interpretation that's fine. Just to be clear I adore LR and SRQ can go die :)

ikr this drama will be boring if the characters become perfect in episode 12. Her growing gradually throughout the drama is more realistic and interesting than developing all at once early and then remaining stagnant for the rest of the drama.
Wanted to share my thoughts on PWX's failure to communicate in their first life. Although it was a "wrong action" of him to simply run away from the conflict rather than confronting it head on and clarifying everything, which led to even more misunderstandings, I respect him for wanting to step back but his action of basically ending the relationship (even without divorce) was the catalyst for the chain of events in their first life. I can also understand that LR is also horrible at communicating, and I can empathise with his pain, frustration and exhaustion when she says "You mean it" after he said "I never said I wanted to split up" (or something along those lines). In their past life, they were both in the wrong. Commenters should stop painting PWX as an angel and LR as a devil. Neither of them are angels and neither are devils. The entertaining and interesting part of the drama is that both characters made mistakes. It's not just one of them that screwed up it's both, and they both have to face that and take accountability.
So She slept with him because she felt pity? Like the princess felt pity and slept with someone?
I believe that LR and SRQ were intimate in the drama but not to the extent of the novel. Certainly the director omitted many parts of the first life that make LR unlikeable to the audience. I don't mind it, especially as just a drama watcher. In my opinion, in the first life LR felt pity for SRQ and cared for him but didn't really love him in that sense. I would interpret their intimacy as her way of trying to convince herself that she's moved on from PWX. In the second life, LR is not in love with SRQ, she just pities him a lot, more than in the first life. Whenever she stares at him with that certain look on her face (could easily be interpreted as attraction/love), in my interpretation it's just LR being swept up by memories.
about to start a li rong defenders club πͺlet a girl be messy while she's figuring herself out
ikr. Everyone who is annoyed that it seems that after the ending of ep11, she is reverting back to her previous self, they need to understand that change does not just happen overnight. She's been with the same mindset, not just for 18 years, but for 38 years. She is someone who makes assumptions about and decisions for other people without their opinion and is not good at communicating. She has an extremely low EQ, which is heavily influenced by her title as a princess, and the emotional disconnect that that title causes her to have with everyone else in her life. She tries to only think rationally (or irrationally based on her beliefs, which are often wrong, especially as she never communicates with those people) and solve everything through a clever and logical solution. She's been trained to think only about herself, only about how to gain the most power. The fact that her justification for delaying her decision regarding PWX is about protecting herself AND him is already proof that she's changing. She's trying her best to become more emotionally intelligent and understanding. It would be unrealistic and unsatisfying if she changed from someone who is horrible at communicating to someone who is masterful at communicating and immediately communicates everything with everyone. I agree with one of the comments I saw here before, about how her apology to PWX wasn't really a result of careful consideration of what he said, but rather an instinctive reaction to defend and attempt to explain herself, and to try to prevent a repetition of their past life. I personally prefer her immediately apologising even if she didn't completely understand everything and then slowly figuring everything out, over her taking a long time to look between the lines of everything he's saying and then finally apologising sincerely at a much later date (especially as looking between the lines is not her greatest talent). Overall her character development from that scene is realistic, given that it's probably been only a few days since their conversation, and she doesn't immediately become a perfect person. I love all of her flaws and how messy she is, especially as someone who is not used to facing her own heart, and I love how all of her decisions are in character. Even if it's the "wrong decision", it's never a decision that feels like it comes out of nowhere for her. I will gladly join you in starting a Li Rong defenders club, as long as it's not at the expense of PWX as I love them both.
