you have to look closely into fanxioa's complex mind to understand the whole thing honestly, you can see from the starting it was stated that he thinks the world is cruel and no one is actually kind, that's what acted as a catalyst for fanxioa when he saw someone like shulang, someone who possess both optimistic side and being kind to others, his mind wanted to prove it wrong, that Shulang's character is just a pretense, we have to understand the physiological nature of a person who went through so much as fan xioa did to understand his characters notion throughout the show. When i watched first episode, i was confused too but once the storyline progressed I caught the whole plot and the intentions behind FX's character. I am not telling you to sympathize or emphazhise FX's character to understand the whole thing, it just needs our deep analyzing to understand some complex character. And if it's not your cup of tea, then it's not. We can't blame the storyline just because we didn't find it to our own taste. Also, i just wanted to bring out my opinion, and if it something I said seems rude, i am sorry in advance.

i don't know what didn't make sense to you here? i mean they explained everything with each scenes, i am really confused with what you are talking about? I am just curious to know what doens't make sense to you or what reason you didn't find valid?

i don't think it's just because of that car accident like everyone thinks it to be, it was because of shulang's optimistic side, his nature to see good in everything and be kind to everyone around him. As we already knew, FX grew up thinking the world is cruel and no one shows true love, his first instinct was to think that shulang is just pretending to be kind or let's say more like he was envious of the good nature in shulang, which he never experienced his whole life or he himself never shown it to anyone his whole life, which was the main catalyst for his sick mind to break that side of shulang and prove a point that the world is cruel and what being kind dragged him into. i guess that's what the whole toying with his emotions was about until he actually fell in love (but FX being his sick self took show much time to realise his feelings are genuine) and when he did it was too late.

frr, fan xioa also did great with all those complicated emotions he has to portray 😭 he acted that whole messed up personality of fanxio so good!

actually I kinda suspected from the starting that his friend is the one who is going to reveal everything because he was so impulsive and always running his mouth since the moment he got introduced lol.

I always had that same thought, i feel like if only china didn't have so much restrictions, i am pretty sure china would be having so many dramas like thailand. Yeah, i love thai bl's too but there is something with Chinese storyline always captures that spot. Be it revenged love or to my shore, i feel like what makes it more different compared to all the other thai bl's are, their captivating story and the way the actors have some natural chemistry.

God, the amount of adrenaline rush i had throughout this episode, i can't even imagine what i will go through tomorrow! the teaser for tomorrow's episode is going to be filled with so much angst. get ready y'all

Tbh, i don't really watch many dramas when it's airing, i usually wait for it to end because I am not a fan of sad ending, i selectively choose to watch dramas while airing because of that reason. I was so hesitant to start this too, but I felt like if i watched it once it ended, i don't think I would feel the same amount of angst that i would probably get while it's still ongoing, you understand what I mean? like i would have already knew what will happen in which episode with all the spoilers in every social media, and i would not feel the same thrill like I am feeling right now lol.So yeah, there are some dramas where we can watch once it completely gets over but there are few which will give us all those feels only when we watch it while airing. (it's my opinion) but if you are okay with all the waiting then I suggest you to watch it while it's ongoing lol
