SUCH AN UNDERRATED DRAMA!!
Seriously, idk why this drama didn't get more rating, it was really better compared to all the overrated kdramas I have watched recently. And for your information, this will be a drama which I didn't skip a lot of scenes. I loved the connection both the leads shared and how they stood up for each other throughout the story. It was also kind of refreshing to see them being all cute without any push and pull in their relationship (fyi i hate when they do that push and pull kind of thing in a relationship.) Tbh I was hesitating a lot before starting this drama but i really enjoyed from the starting to the end. Moreover, i haven't written a review for a drama for a very long time but this drama is really being underrated and I want many people to watch this one! So if anyone is hesitating like me before starting, pls do watch it... it can be your cup of tea too hahahaWas this review helpful to you?

WOWW!! I don't care what others say about this drama being overrated because to me this drama is worth the hype. Everyone has different problems in their life and literally watch these drama to calm down their choatic mind and this one literally helped me heal. The amount of cheesiness was perfect, it didn't made me to cringe or left out. The most important thing is the male lead was not rich and arrogant/ portrayed to be someone who is beyond everything, he was just an ordinary guy trying to live a peaceful life with the person he loves. His/ her love was not exaggerated but still made us fall in love with the characters and made us believe in love. I always love a healthy and mature relationship between the main leads in a drama, yeah obviously i love angst but for this story, the amount of angst they added felt more than enough.Sang Zhi's love for Jiaxu is everything!! Everyone talks about Jiaxu being a green forest, yeah i totally agree but Sang Zhi is the whole lot of green universe. She is cute, beautiful (both inside and outside), matured, understanding. This made the story more and more adorable.
Okay if I don't stop here, i would just keep on simping for them. I WOULD NEVER HESITATE TO WATCH THIS ONE AGAIN AND AGAIN ❤️

Such a fun-filled drama
Actually, let's say you can watch this drama if you are in a mood for something fun. If you are someone who doesn't like a innocent and crybaby female lead then this one is not for you, but I felt like this female lead was cute eventhough sometimes her being taken advantage by others made me really frustrated, i kind of understood where she is coming from and her character felt more real. I watched Chinese version of this drama long time back and seriously it pissed me off so much, but this one was far better than that one (No offense to anyone, cause I also love Chinese dramas and they are soich special to me) but this drama in Chinese version really frustrated me too much so i was hesitant to start this one, but i watched this drama only for the female lead (cause she is so pretty and cute) and ended up actually enjoying it. Eventhough the storyline was basic, the actor's effort made it worth the watching!! So if by any chance you are hesitant to watch this one, i say...just give it a shot... it's goodWas this review helpful to you?
Romcom? Yes but with so many drags
This one felt like a romcom after a long time, but let's just say i couldn't feel the emotion or the angst even when he hurt her. It was actually interesting and fun at first few episodes but after the truth got revealed, it kind of started to feel like a drag. It felt like those regular and usual stuffs like every drama after that. The only factor which kept me motivated to watch till the end was the ACTORS!! Both Zhou ye and Lin yi are one of my favourite actors, so they are the main positive factor which kept me going. I felt more chemistry with the second leads tbh 😭 The main leads offscreen chemistry actually looked amazing, the crew should have used it wisely...If you are planning to watch something after a long drama slump, then i suggest you to watch this one.Was this review helpful to you?
ROLLERCOASTERS OF EMOTION
THIS ONE RIGHT HERE!! made me experience so many emotions with this 36 episodes. I was laughing, tearing up, getting butterflies, angst , felt so bad for each characters who went through so much in their lives. One of my most favourite drama and i remember watching it for the first time, i was in a real bad phase in my life and this one really distracted me from everything that was going on in my life.The main trope of this drama : Grumpyxsunshine, she fell first and he fell harder, there are so many subtropes in this drama which i devoured with each episode. Even today, whenever I see any edits of them, it gives me a nostalgic feel with so many emotions growing inside me. If you are up for a rollercoasters of emotions then this one is for you!! Eventhough you will feel frustrated with few decisions made by the ML, i understood where he came from. Yeah, i felt really heartbroken but I felt like that was an important factor which actually made their future relationship more strong and matured. They both realised how much they mean to each other.
I wish I could erase my memories and watch this drama once again for the first time 😭

If you are here for some beautiful romcom, then this is definitely not for you. I just literally loved everything about this drama. Most of the times, I won't start watching ongoing dramas without being sure about the ending (because I am not one for sad/open endings) so I will always be picky when it comes to watching ongoing dramas. There were many times, i usually dropped watching while they were ongoing because the storyline loses it's shine after specific episodes. BUT this one kept me hooked till the end. Like literally, i feel empty now thinking that there won't be any more anticipations for next episode.THE ARENALINE RUSH the last few episodes kept me on is absolutely perfect. You won't get bored anywhere till the end.
THE STORYLINE is perfect because you would never guess what FX would be doing next. We would be expecting something but he would be doing something beyond unexpected. There would be times, when Fanxioa will make your blood boil and will make you think he is iredeemable but the end shattered all my believes.
THE CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT which I was waiting to see from the starting of this drama was the main plot.
THE ACTING. They both did their absolute best for rookie actors, they both did so much research and analysis before performing each scenes. And I think that's what is very important when it comes to acting. You need to understand your character the most to bring the life to those characters and I think they did exactly that.
THE CHEMISTRY was right there on point. I was not at all expecting so many scenes of them to play out so well when I started this one, but they literally slayed it. Their kisses were so damn addictive.
FINALLY, THE WARNING IS, this drama is definitely not for faint of hearts who expect their leads to be perfect, flawless and plain. They both have their own dark side, especially fan xioa is the absolute dark theme coded male lead you would ever see, so read the trigger warning before starting this drama, because I don't want people complaining about fan xioa being toxic when the tags clearly mentioned this has manipulative and obsessive traits in the story and obviously he is toxic. So, if you guys still complain that's on you guys because you signed up for it from the start.
I won't suggest this drama for everyone because this won't be everyone's cup of tea, but if you like dark romances, then this is your cue to start this one without any second thoughts.
