I just finished rewatching this drama and it broke my heart like it did the first time, I’ll be sad for a couple of weeks.Seeing it a second time allowed me to appreciate the performance of all the cast members, just for that it’s worth watching, nonetheless the story is beautiful and painful in the best way. A must watch!
Very good show, you kinda can predict what’s happening but it keeps giving you new turns. The characters are good, acting is great, direction is great. A lot of people commenting how naive the fl is, but babes, she’s a teenager, these are all teenagers in very adult situations. The only thing I can complain about is that the ending was a little rushed for my taste, it was probably because they kept giving information til the end. Overall, I totally recommend it.
This is one of those dramas you expect to get romance from, but instead you get healing and compassion. Very well written without being over dramatic. It feels coming from the heart. Highly recommend.
What a beautiful drama! It’s feel with emotions, incredible acting, a script that will make you feel, and great direction. Park Bo-young is so amazingly subtle in her expressions and conveys so much with the littlest motions, I love her! 100% recommended.
I haven’t fell in love with a drama in a while, but I did with Light Shop, what a beautifully written drama. It’s entertaining, captivating, heartbreaking, and heartwarming at the same time. The actors are great so there was no doubt about performances being good, shout out to Lee Jung-eun who was so impressive. The ending is impactful and the post-cred scene another highlight. Lovely drama.
I just watched it for the second time and laughed at every joke and cried at the end as if it was the first time. what a wonderful piece of art is this show, I absolutely love it!
How is Shin Hye-sun this good!! The movie is good, well written, well directed, and greatly acted. I have watched my share of thrillers (and then some) so the plot was no stranger to me and I could guess what was happening, nonetheless, I really liked it.
I do not get all the criticism for this show. It is a different somber type of drama with sad undertones. People…
I agree so much with your comment, I feel people expect the romcom every time and it’s a nice change of pace to see a different kind of romance. I knew the ending had to be fast but I wasn’t expecting 2 seconds fast 🤷🏻♀️ The only thing I’ll never understand is why the ex lover reported the ml’s mother to the police, he didn’t get anything out of it.
The Lee Sung-kyung effect strikes again… I loved the drama, it’s slow but full of emotions, complex relationships with parents and siblings. I agree with some comments that the sister should have been honest from the beginning. I see comments saying the main characters were emotionless, I think the oppposote, I could feel their sadness, their loneliness, and resignation in every scene, and when they smiled, I could also feel the hope… but maybe it’s jus me projecting 🙃
I disagree, although I believe in therapy 100%, their relationship was not the theme of this drama. The reason of the split seemed to be (I think) that they both changed, she had feelings for her ex and it was impossible for Jumno to ignore it, but he also started having feelings for Haeyrum, which indicated to him that his marriage wasn’t as strong. Plus the whole deal of becoming a murderer, that has to be heavy to carry for both. They just weren’t the same anymore and their new persons didn’t choose each other.
Amazing! it keeps your heart racing with suspense. The actors are chef kiss so no surprises on their good performance. The story, the script, and direction are impeccable. A must watch with the warning that it’s violent and bloody.
OMFG! No show ahold be left on a cliffhanger unless they have secured funding for the next season, I’m so mad! But, anyway, it was a really cool season, the first one was silly, but the going back and forth from drama to drama and the backstory about masculinity and relationships was well done. I want season 3, d*mn it!
Not a bad drama, but I wouldn’t say exciting either. I think Kim Young-dae is a good actor but the chemistry wasn’t there for me, in Sh**ting Stars is fantastic so I was expecting more, I guess. I did like the ending tho, surprised by them avoiding the cliché.
Fully recommend! So well written, acted, and edited. Being honest, I don’t know if there’s any plot holes because the intrigue and the mystery trapped me completely, I will have to watch it again sometime to look for those. This is a love story, just not the typical romance story, it’s about sisterhood in many forms. And Wi Ha-joon 👀 Oh, and when they say “loosely based on Little Women”, that’s doing a lot of heavy lifting… they are sisters, so that matches…
