Sure. The modem c-dramas this year are so weak. Vin Zhang is another actor I love who suffers from poor scripts, along with CXX. They should move like Bai Jing Ting (for example)... he doesn't do many dramas but he always chooses the great scripts and do the different types of dramas, not stick in one genre.

Yes he's a great actor and also charismatic. I actually liked the starry love, it had at least a good script and great characters. I have similar problem with Victoria Song too, her acting was so hit or miss.

I agree. He suits republican dramas so much. I'm starting to think that in his last historical drama, the starry love, some netizens criticised his looks saying how he did not look that good in wigs or something like that (which is not true).. because of that, maybe he stayed away from historical dramas these days. I just wish he would go back to doing one with well-written script and good production.

Everyone works like this in China. The problem is that CXX did not get good resources and great productions as he deserves.
