I suspect she's not pretending. If she is pretending and even does it when she's alone with Hana (I mean, if she doesn't privately confess to her that she's putting on a show for M), that means her character didn't learn anything throughout the whole drama. The past episodes where she regrets things and blah blah blah wouldn’t make any sense.

Ji Seok decides to help Seon Ho after Myeong Ji gains custody of the child. He then tells him in jail, "I didn't do this to make you thank me. Don't let her take him from you. Make sure you keep him safe."

Call me crazy, but I still think, after all these episodes, that one of the twists is going to be the reveal that the child is Ji seok's son.

The husband knows that Yeojin is probably in that condition because of Myeong Ji, and yet he doesn’t even seriously try to stop her from entering the room. In the part where M enters while he’s there, he doesn’t even stay by the window to see what she’s doing. He knows she’s already killed people, and he knows that if she’s involved in what happened to Yeojin, it’s also obvious that she’ll want to get rid of her so she doesn’t talk.
And yes, he told her not to go into the room, but what’s the point of saying that if he then lets her in like it’s nothing?

I'm not sure Yujin is alive, but after what the kid said about his teacher, I can't rule it out completely. Still, even if she really is alive, I don't think they'll do a Snow White-style scene where she goes to the hospital and Yeojin just happens to wake up at that exact moment.
