They are trying to put her and Jiseok as end-game. That is why. They are trying to lay the foundations.
It's clear, but what I mean is that her character has no charisma — she doesn't hold up well on screen, and watching her becomes tedious. This has nothing to do with whether the character is good or bad — Myeongji, for example, is bad, but she has presence and keeps you entertained.
I think the writers of this drama are overestimating Se Yeong's charisma as a character; otherwise, there's no explanation for all the spotlight she's been getting in these recent episodes.
So ready for this to end 😂 Writers are ridiculous with myeong ji constantly rambling on about how yeojin owes…
100% ridiculous that M says Yeojin owes her something, but it's still funny. Yes, the best ending would have been if Yujin had shown up and left with Hana, the kid, and the cat, and then the city had been bombed with all the remaining characters in it, including that teobokki restaurant.
The scenes between Myeong Ji and Yeojin are the most entertaining right now. Much better than the romantic scenes between Jingu and Hana, the ones with the siblings acting like they're five years old, and the scenes of Se Yeong in an existential crisis with a bitter expression (I don't care about her at all).
Exactly. But Yeo Jin hasn't been the smarter player from the beginning with her fake daughter epic fail. I don't…
It doesn't make sense, like you said, that they let the driver go after he confessed, even if he said it was an accident. The laws in Korea can't be that absurd to let someone like that go — I imagine it was bribery again this time. Meanwhile, Myeong Ji is paying what she has to, and Yeojin and her husband send a letter like they're writing to Santa Claus. If I were them, I would've kidnapped Se yeong and used her as a bargaining chip to get the notebook plus a confession from Myeong Ji.
How ridiculous Yeojin and her husband are, writing a letter and sending food to their daughter’s killer, as if someone who runs over another person for money would be moved by something so sentimental. They should learn from Myeong Ji and bribe the police instead, that way they could get the killer to talk.
I thought the teacher was going to say something important about Yujin, until she said tteokbokki and I realized…
Yeah, it's 100% pointless, I agree with you — but it gives the impression that these screenwriters are on "something", so we can't really tell whether they include a scene because it's going to be relevant or just because they went overboard with the dose.
Yeojin needs evidence to kill myeong ji? Ugh why? Just kill her 😂 it’s getting ridiculous now with hearing…
I thought the teacher was going to say something important about Yujin, until she said tteokbokki and I realized it was just an ad. I think the 1% chance I was giving the theory that she had faked her death — after what the kid said about one of his teachers looking like his mom — dropped to 0. I also think they’re going to pair her up with the younger brother, more boring filler.
The shampoo commercial they added to this episode with Hana and Jingu was so weird. They also included another one about Teobokki, when the English teacher came to teach the kid and asked him what he had for lunch.
These episodes aren't very entertaining, I hope they improve. The next one doesn't look so bad.
🤣 saw the preview, zero logic now trying to commit murder out in the open with probably cameras somewhere and…
Baby Jane-style murder, and it doesn't matter if they see her—she can bride everyone. I remember reading a comment a few days ago from someone who said this was Myeong Ji's world, and the rest of them were just living in it— it's true.
Thanks for the text preview. I bet she doesn't throw her down the stairs because they stopped her first. Then…
Probably. I’m not bothered by the fact that it happens, but by how fast it does. She was an antagonist throughout the whole drama, constantly humiliating Hana just because she could, and now, with about ten episodes left before the drama ends, they want us to forget all of that like nothing ever happened just because she's sad that her mom didn’t tell her what she did.
Thanks for the text preview. I bet she doesn't throw her down the stairs because they stopped her first. Then…
Awful. I didn't see her crying when she found out her cousin had died in a horrible incident, leaving a child orphaned. But apparently, judging by the preview, now she has feelings.
Episode 92 Text PreviewSe Young, who finds out that Myeong Ji has hidden Yu Jin's whereabouts from her, drinks…
Thanks for the text preview. I bet she doesn't throw her down the stairs because they stopped her first. Then we'll get 10 minutes of Se Yeong crying so we can see that she's "good" now. Boring.
Now I'm sure they're going to redeem Se Yeong—how horrifying. She's not going to a psychiatric hospital or to jail. I'm sure they'll do a scene where she's shocked by what her mom did to Yujin, she'll cry a little, and then, to complete the redemption arc, there'll be a scene where she saves the kid or something like that, and that's it—now she's good. The horror...
These episodes are kind of boring because it feels like nothing significant is happening. Every time something happens, something else comes along that cancels it out.
Yeojin discovers the notebook, then loses her memory—no consequences for Myeong Ji.
Ji Seok finds out the truth about Richard Han, but there are no consequences for him because we know he’s not going to take revenge. He even helps him get out of jail.
The grandfather ends up in jail, then gets out an episode later—nothing changes in the drama. (Boring)
Myeong Ji gets custody of the child and decides to take him out of the country, but it doesn’t happen because he loses custody in the next episode and the child goes back to the grandparents. Nothing is happening. If you removed these episodes, leaving only 2 or 3 scenes at most, the drama wouldn’t change at all.
And I saw scenes from today’s episode on YouTube, and it doesn’t look like the plot is going to progress much either. Just pure filler.
