I love both Landy Li and Rui Peng but the chemistry between leads is non existing so far. They look like detective colleagues resolving complicated crimes with such high skills and precision, however one is a prince and the other is noble lady with medical knowledge. The plot is really stupid.
So they fought, married, he tortured him, pee into his cup and then they become really close. Lol so far this is comedy gold even though they try to make it look serios drama
Probably my favorite Korean costume dramas, I want to see more from it. The old Korean costumes are so beautiful, especially the male garments and the big see through hats.
Love the cast and the story. Let us hope we won't see cheap special effects with fake wolves coordinating attack on the princess inner-city for no reason. I was, "this would be stupid," but then it hooked me, you try to focus on the good stuff you know :)
I am trying to understand what genre this is. Looks like a comedy or parody of historical Chinese dramas, the way he run and saved her from the falling set on fire lanterns was direct hit on "love like a galaxy" . I just hope that it won't be the entire time translated 3rpd person role from actor trapped in the script, we saw this already many times.
Even though the lead guy's kisses were delicious, the romance in the drama was depressing with a disaster ending…
This is actually what I liked about it. The female lead was strong until the end, there was no chance for him to amend this love relationship. In the end she killed and died with the last person she loved.
You wanted the Female lead to backstab (when her sole purpose was to stop war and execute peace treaty) and you…
This is how the FL character was portraited in the beginning all together with her family, she was reserved again the Wei from the start, there was a tension and I was expected her to be more active later in the drama when dealing with her opponents, but she faded in the background. All her enemies or problems were dealt by other circumstances, her main lane was "Oh Lord you're here". And no, nothing is more predictable than living happily ever after, I saw only one Cdrama where FM ended up with someone else than ML.
overreacting in what sense? cuz zuer is probably one of the better actors in the industry
Ep 4 for example when she was sobbing without tears like 4 years old girl on the bridge while Liu Yu Ning was trying to safe the dialog between them. If it was bad acting on purpose, the Wie Shao wouldn't buy it so it was out of character.
I am completely taken by the story so far.Liu Yu Ning is a hell big Chinese man, like a modern Lu Bu. My only complain is the female lead, she is overacting so much in some scenes.
1. Not save her, let her die?2. Save her, leave her orphaned, hunted, and amnesiac in their hometown?3. Say she's…
He could simply say, "hey I am not your biological brother but we have to pretend because someone wants to kill you," Not too hard and she is a smart girl not an idiot. But telling her he is her biological brother and her falling in him is sick.
This plot reminds me almost like "The Rise of Ning ", it is so unnatural . He could fall in love with her, but for her to start love him as a lover all of a sudden after she thought he was her brother is crazy. If this happens for 2 -5 episodes I would understand, but I am at ep 21 and she is still stuck with amnesia., thinking she is his sister. This shouldn't have been 40 Episodes drama, the plot is too stretched and repetitive .
It is nice drama, but when story and the plot remains in same location 20 episodes are enough.40 Episodes was too much because midway it turned really repetitive and somehow naive.
