I agree with what you are saying but with some additions.
SW was coerced by the aunt. At the start of ep...20? the aunt told him what to do.
Indeed, he had to think about it and decide to follow it, but he did follow her.
He had some spine to find his own reason to follow her, and he had some spine to defend that in front of JI. So in some ways, he did stand up for himself. But not really.

And, aunt's making deals with GC is soooo delusional..... SHE DOES NOT UNDERSTAND THAT HE DOES NOT STICK TO DEALS AND WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET ENTIRE YL TO HIMSELF.
Yeah in a normal business, what she did is the right thing to do. HOWEVER, she is not aware that GC and SeRi Catherine are CRIMINALS, that they already have a history of stealing from the company and committing murder. THEY ARE GOING TO KILL THE AUNT AND SW TO GET THEM OUT OF THE WAY. That deal that the aunt signed, she actually signed her own death order :)

12 eps leaves no time for character development. Why does that concept bore you?

Well YG is an ordinary human being, with flaws, and without any spiritual training... so what COULD we expect from him.... ? He is weak and confused, as anyone in his situation WOULD be. Plus he is a young male and that comes with its share of feeling entitled . **** Overall, YG is not a wise person, he never was, and he has no opportunity to become, so ... DO NOT EXPECT MUCH FROM HIM!!!! ****

Gang Cheol was a dragon-like being, and he too had major flaws at the start. HOWEVER, he has more training and experience, more wisdom, so he was able to quickly learn and change and transform himself. He is a very decent character now....

If I were you. I would self reflect, what exactly I liked and what exactly irked me off. You will learn a lot about yourself.

It is so interesting to watch the audience reaction - those who want fights and spirits and basically an action movie, are bored to death, saying this is draggy and boring...
Those who love history, art, psychological dramas, etc - generally, MEANINGFUL CONTENT - are happy and saying wow this is getting more and more interesting :)

I am saying, this is getting more interesting as the lines between humans and deities and humans and spiritual world just BLUR and Everything is One.
The plot is DEEPER, there are DEEPER issues resolved, there is this creepy idea of redemption, atonment, forgiveness, love, kindess, care and compassion - YEESH how boring! says everyone who wants to stay in the fun shallow waters of distractions.

But I think this episode is precious because it brings resolutions and many pointers to how to properly and permanently solve problems.... So I vote, we dive in, into the DEPTH.....
For example:

Ah the face of the king when he experiences remorse, or happiness when praised by GangCheol... ! I understand why some ppl swoon over him as a handsome guy! That actor is doing a GREAT JOB being the King, totally convincing!!! When he smiles or is happy, indeed, even I can see he is so handsome :) Yeah that is why happy big heart good guys are so hot :) the inner wears out on the face...

AND THE ACTOR DOING GANG CHEOL IN YG BODY IS ABSOLUTELY ****AMAZING**** ACTOR!!!! HIS ACTING OF HUMAN YG VERSUS IMUGI IN YG BODY - IT IS OBVIOUS WHO IS IMUGI AND WHO IS HUMAN!!!!!! That scene when YG wakes up is really human! And so touching! YG is genuinely sooo apreciative.... In other scenes, YG is a jerk, or a weak person, etc.
In any case, every scene with YG, it is really human!!! Every scene with GangCheol, it is clearly a dragon being. The side glance, the snide look, the "looking down from his high horse" look, etc etc etc - he is clearly a dragon.... And when he is YG, he is confused, angry, apreciative, etc.

It is phenomenal acting!
it is tough to act even one human, and to act a supernatural being too, wow! There are soooo many layers of complexity of character and nuance of expressions and plethora of possible feelings and thoughts that get expressed through eyes, face, and body... But then to do that and express a dragon-like being, .... wow........ WOW THAT IMUGI ACTOR IS A GENIUS ACTOR, he is totally convincing.

Scenes that ppl call boring fillers are meant to showcase acting and also to appease fans who get to see their fav :) It is ok! In any case, seeing various "imugi expressions" is fun to watch. That actor is acting as a dragon for sure, it is obvious. Wow so fun to watch.

ALSO we get lessons in evil :) The bad guys keep winning by sweettalking ppl via their character flaws. Bibi lost his life that way....

So yeah Yun Gap is a selfish little jerk who cannot see beyond his own nose and yeah THAT IS WHY HE IS USED AS A TOOL IN THE HANDS OF EVIL - remember that...

and yeah another lesson of karma, that suuuuuper selfish arrogant king who sacrificed a village to save his own fat rich kingly as#.

Why are female actresses less skilled in acting, generally speaking, esp female leads are too often so stiff? What is it about script and/or filiming that makes them so? Bona needs to defrost and ACT for once already. She tries but it has to be a LOT more.
Older actresses perhaps are less shameful, for example, YG mom is very convincing. Hm, but the young feminine beautiful Queen is also very convincing...
So..... why is FL not convincing, as often happens.....

Imo you are missing the point... The key here is HIS MOTHER'S GRIEF and need to have the mother somehow redeem and attone herself... and also even a rapist is a soul and deserves to atone and move on, changed, in peace.... Just like those vengeful spirits do....

I think he already gave up revenging on her.. He told uncle in previous episodes that she is pounded enough and needs no more... He does have some kind in him. And... he must like her for real.

YES! it is fun to watch bc we see the character grow as a person, we see trial and error and trying and falling and succeeding, we see persistence and tenacity and we see the PROCESS of growth. In Ep 24, JaeIn was partially a pathetic mess, and partially someone very sharp minded, smart, perceptive, super extra good psychologist who nailed down the core character flaws of so many ppl. So yeah... we see her bloom. Perhaps slowly but surely :) That's why I like binge watching several episodes at once rather than just one small 30 min piece

Yes that was strange... she kept saying "JaeIn wont give you the seat" but then how is she sure that GC would? LOL She really thinks a piece of paper will make him? LOL also, I think GC will just try to kill or mess up aunt and SW. There is no way he will step down on his own... and since the aunt is a troublemaker, he will just remove her. Like he did JaeIn :) The aunt has no clue who he is and what he does and what is coming... that is her grave mistake. SHE IS ENTITLED TOO :)

Yeah But that is BORING to watch :) Imo the only interesting thing to watch is someone improving themselves.
I think JaeIn is making progress.... she was a train wreck when she lost the election, that was pathetic, but then she got back into the saddle and is riding and shooting now... doing just fine, thank you :) She is actually a good psychologist and totally nailed down the character or SIL and Se Ri ....

The aunt and her bae getting together.... hm... why? HE wants to kill YL.... she wants to grow it and give it to SW.... so.... unless he changes his mind... nothing will happen.. DID THEY RECOGNIZE EACH OTHER ??? .... THe aunt is way too selfish and thinks only of helping SW and has alienated SW and JI. So... why would the uncle help her? Unless it is to bring GC down when he learns that GC did it :) then they COULD get back together and smack him..... . But.... I think GC will get them first :) I bet GC will try to kill the aunt and SW.... or somehow mess them up so that they are out of the game...

And I do believe that she is kind for real underneath all that. For example, she did NOT have to help MLs mother across the street. She muttering her son's name while drunk and homeless is also a sign of genuine care.

I think JaeIn has it somewhere deep in her and it is the matter of pulling it out in an adult and mature way. Being kind after you faced evil in others and yourself is true kindness :)

I also want to remind you that JaeIn made friends, for example ML's mother. Jae In helped her out of kindness when she spilled her groceries. Jae In did not have to help her. SHe volunteered to help a total stranger. So ML's mother reciprocated with kindness...
and other people whom JI treated kindly did not :)

I think there ARE kind people without any friends. It just so happens :)
Jae In was an isolated rich princess and a mom and she WAS friendly and kind to her family - and oblivios that they didnt care for her...

Jae In is a typical mom, not having any hobbies etc but living for her family. She didnt have gym, clubs, etc. It is her fault :) that she had no life and lived just for others. Yeah, she SHOULD have made some friends on the side.
But she believed that all those ppl around her were her friends :) She was totally sheltered and secluded and CONFINED to her close family circle... which makes sense, she is a chaebol so she wants to stay out of public eye...

She is smart and she now hit the road and is on the ground with the rest of the "ordinary" pepeople, so yeah, she WILL figure out how it works :)
