To me FL is dressed well for her situation. She was a clerk in a small post office, she is not terribly young or urban fashionista, and now she is a widowed brewery owner working hard.... so she is in her work clothes. Her going out clothes can be interesting... She has nice pink and white blouses... I liked her dark mini dress, she got really great legs! but the bow was like .. why that...? Well that is her fashion sense and it is probably off since she just worked in post office before and is now widowed. I am not expecting her to wear brand names and fancy clothes... ... I think the hairdresser was following the dancer brother and confronting him way too much. Call it stalking or whatever, she was bothering him. Luckily she became more .... mature? about it and did what counts to take care of it, and also, GAVE UP ON HIM since he liked the piano tteacher. The hairdresser did everything a mature woman in love would do - let him enjoy himself and also checked what is going on to keep him safe. And she DID save him. I am not sure why she didnt tell him anything.... To me that part is creepy.
