I disagree. I havent seen Cinderella Game but I read the plot and it is entirely a Cinderella Game - so many twists about her as Cinderella journey as there was some games, she was swindled, as I read... so the title makes fun of her ...

ANd this one is A Queen in the house of her family by the fact that she sits on a pile of cash of her family and receives a spoiled brat royal treatment and behaves as a Princess on the pea.... And she THINKS she is the Queen of her house with a nice hubby and kid... BUT .. it is all fake. SO THE TITLE MAKES FUN OF HER AND HER FAMILY

Well ... this FL is a queen of some sort... a spoiled brat parasiting off a pile of cash of her family.. She IS a queen by inheriting all that $$$$ and entitlement. yeah she is not a real queen in the true sense of that word :) but she is an entitled brat sitting on a pile of cash. So the title makes fun of her...

I wanna say LOL because ... you are taking on global sexism LOL .... but yeah, that is a goal... For now, I think it would be great to show the way OUT of this "loser woman" stereotype. Show a weak female lead AT THE START and then show how she matured and grew up.

Jae In doesnt know about her husband. She is in blind love... as a typical spoiled naive rich girl who got her toy. Jae In thinks she is a queen :) and she blindly trusts her King.... a stupid little girl LOL JUST LOOK HOW HER MOTHER TREATS HER BROTHER - WHAT KIND OF PERSON DO YOU THINK THOSE KIDS GREW UP TO BE... ???? The doctor admitted in episode 5 that she is staying with her hubby BECAUSE OF HER DAD that high level dude Do in the YL company.... She is clearly fed up with her hubby and his mom... he is for-sure-idiot and she seems confused. BUT ... IS SHE HITTING ON THE DOCTOR? WHY DID SHE ALMOST FALL ON HIM???

FL is a Queen in her house - she is a spoiled naive brat that has EVERYTHING - at least she thinks so and everyone else thinks so.... She is super weak and immature. ANd yeah the price for that is being naive. And being naive is suicidal for a rich person, targeted by predators. Our FL was so sheltered all her life that she hasnt learned that YET until... she fell into some traps :) NOW LETS SEE IF she climb out of the hole she dug out for herself.

But ... did you see how her mother treat her brother? If you grow up in a family like that, what kind of twisted idiot WILL you become??? and then how will you outgrow it .... so we got 100 episodes to see how FL grows up.

I like this drama. The plot moves fast. Yeah you can tell the families are toxic and that is why everything happens, AND IT IS DRAMA MATERIAL BC THEN OUR NAIVE FL CAN FINALLY GROW UP :) and hook up with the handsome doctor... ? Will she? I think so somehow...

THe handsome doctor is really handsome, ah the white teeth and nice smile! and he is HONEST.

ALso, my learning here is that the fruit does not fall far from the tree, we can just see Grandma in pink and we know what her kids could be like... And little tiny Eun Ho KEEPS SECRETS TO HIS PARENTS... woow that is serious...

just for the record. I think Cheating Husband actor is not good at acting, he clearly pretends. I think everyone else is decent.

yeah the doctor wife is a mystery, why stay there when it is so moronic, why even defend them... ??? BUT SUCH ARE TOXIC PEOPLE IN TOXIC FAMILIES. THis kdrama is hopefully about clearing up all that gook. If it just to show us toxic people in toxic families doing toxic things forever then we might as well watch Kardashians or Dynasty or something like that, which I would NEVER watch.

I am watching this to see HOW the stupid FL will get smarter and become more mature and wiser, deeper, stronger, better person. She is already kind. But she is sheltered and naive, so her kindness does not count. Real kindness is when you have MET the evil and suffering AND YOU ARE STILL KIND. Our FL has not met any darkness inside her or others YET. But she is going to.... starting to :) IT WILL EITHER MAKE HER OR BREAK HER

and we are here to cheer her on. This is kinda modern version of gladiator games LOL Storytelling is always like that... cheering the little meek week immature people to become better human beings....

I do not understand... WHY NOT pack up and move to .... the USA or something like that together... ???? not wanting to leave their families behind without support??? but they left them behind with the suicide.... It is so .... well.... so .... dumb in some ways? They couldnt leave bc of Japanese occupation...? Why not wait for that to end and then leave? I dont know, but
it sounds there are so many ways to solve this and that living choice could have been better than a dying choice.

In any case, imo, the ML character is a coward and an evil person, putting his father first and thus throwing under the bus so many people.... and the evil part is, HOW DARE HE TORTURE HIS WIFE!!!! HOW did his wife feel to be told every single day he hates her...???? It was not her fault. It was HIS fault to consent to it. WHY DID HE DUMP IT ON HER???? HOW could he do something like that to someone else???? THAT IS TORTURE. The dude is NOT nice at all. The Soprano that fell in love with him - well - that is her choice. Live with it :) lol lol lol To me this is a story of egotism more than anything.

I like this drama bc it is a pleasant ride, there is no violence, killing each other, etc. the story flows and you may THINK it is slow but then you find yourself totally immersed in the story adn one hour is GONE like 5 minutes.... It is great acting.

I just got to see ep 25,26 and I was impressed with Se Ri. Wow! That scene in a whitish squares suit at the table... that is the first time I thought of her as a woman. I even noticed that she has large breasts LOL So far she was like a little girl and then POOF! suddenly she grew up and bbecame this brave woman who goes after what she loves... ! Go Se Ri go! How she talked with the Professor, with Gyeol, ... wow. She was very clear!!! and yeah, she was not perfect and totally confused me with "I would marry you if I didnt fall in love" - so she would live with Gyeol forever although she didnt love him...??? Anyways, I think Se Ri has a potential to be a very great adult woman and I think she has talent for business as well as for being a wife and mother.
I was impressed with Gyeol who had the guts to come visit her and ASK her directly. Bravo. The actor acted that scene very well and then with the doctor. I wish we see more of him. Honestly... the doctor is ugly LOL sorry doctor :) the hairdo and clothes and plain expression... well...

Professor is in a pickle because he is new, so if he STARTS his first job with this "fooling around with TAs" reputation... he is done with his career in Korea.
So I keep wondering WHO will be the next brother to move into the brewery LOL Professor when he loses his job bc of sex scandal with a student, or the Dancer who lost all jobs?
The Dancer is impressively good looking, and the Hairdresser too.

I always thought Hairdresser is pretty, and she has a nice body and fun fashion. The actress is very good and I enjoy watching her now. I just never liked the script Hairdresser behaviors before as a chicky chick. Now she is better but she is still very immatyre and clingy and the Dancer is BRUTAL rude to her. She needs to slap him sometimes to get real... !!!! She is kissing his a$$ and he is just trampling all over her.... and he takes it. He really needs some help maturing a lot faster... and she CAN help him, if she stops being his dumpground. I suggest she dresses nicely and behaves more confidently and maturely and LET HIM NOTICE HER ;)
But I have high hopes for them bc there are 5 other couples who can teach them maturity

That moment when Ma ties the tie on the Brother... ha! THAT was fishy!!!! for a second I thought there will be some pouncing... both are driving towards each other like magnets... !!!! and he SUDDENLY looked so happy and enthusiastic.... Hm... suspicious!
and that is somewhat good news bc that strong drive that the late husband awoke in that woman is actually the thing that will throw her into Chairman's arms relatively fast after she lost her husband. He woke up hunger in her so she is hungry and will be faster than a usual widow to find a new man.

I really like that green tie on Kwang Soo!!! wow that with white shirt and navy-ish suit looks really good! That actor seems to have naturally lighter hair color? Bc I never saw that combo on any other actor. Kdramas are a great fashion show of men's business attire. I was most impressed with the color and texture combos that Park Seo Joon wore as the CEO in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim - those combos were something I could have never imagined - dots and burgundy and stripes and ... wow... and with the CEO dad from All About my Mother - fitting perfectly with his grizzly peppered silver hair. Wow he looked good! perfect colors for him. Now I add this green tie + bleached navy coat combo to the mix.

kdramas IMPRESS me with costuming. Each character is always unique and has fashion, style and colors and often hairdo that are unique from all other dramas... that is very remarkable!!!!!

The makeup .. hm... !!! I HATE when they put white powder on the face to make it look more white to kiss a$$ of american audience and their advertising dollars... It is disgusting racism. Wear your own colors, you are pretty, and so what.

Today I was impressed with Silla mom makeup and acting that made her look sick in scenes "dont be greedy" WOW SHE LOOKED TOTALLY DIFFERENT, as if really sick

Chairman is DA man, he is so mature, how he directly talks with CEO Ma is exemplary. And how he goes after her is masterful!!!! He snuck up on her totally camouflaged and contriving - "he is just helping a supplier" so the naive grieving widow did not even smell him coming... and then BAM!!! when he got close enough, he pounced on her. Very gently and very firmly, as usual :) He is a GREAT businessman and a great person and lover. Good for CEO Ma, she is really lucky :) ML actor is perfect for this role. He is very youthful and fresh and acting this role so naturally and with ease, the Chairman feels like a real person, the acting is so convincing

I want to see Baldy going as a date to Golden Castle LOL that is da bomb LOL LOL LOL I was wondering if Mom liked him bc he snores like her late husband LOL LOL LOL just kidding

Ah the Villain... is comical. The scene looking out of the car is a riot. BUT THE BEST SCENE is him sitting under his company sign when he heard the news. THAT scene is a bomb, so super funny... I am glad I am forgetting him from FLower of Evil. Seriously :)

As for Se Ri, ... that is her mom that sat on her for like 25 years, so Se Ri does not even know what to do, she has NEVER EVER EVER talked back to her parents... so I understand why she says Oh mom. Give Se Ri credit, she talked to Gyeol and Professor very very clearly and she even TOLD her mother clearly a few times...
