So again the old staple trope of an emotionall, reactive, rash, impulsive chick acting as a damsel in distress who practically always makes stupid decisions and then some upright male knight in shining armor has to bail her out. Oh common. The lawyer is 10, 000won per minute so ... having him work so hard to save her is .... not a solution for anyone else but her LOL ML is cute and I rather see him in some meaningful love scenes and playing with the kid instead of suffering scenes of FL dumbness. Like, I want to see HOW she is gonna break the ice walls around her.
The lawyer is absolutely inappropriate for FL, it is a cold relationship, they are just business related. The super cute kiddo already attached to FL and hot and loyal squeeky clean single dad already in love with FL is the best for FL - she found an INSTANT FAMILY warm cozy loving and fun

IF he does that will be a major social commentary on the patriarchal dinosaurs, workforce, household politics of inequality, intergenerational communication, parent-child relationships esp in super conservative Asia, etc. I am wondering if Netflx HAS the ability to address this properly. 100 memories aka 100 Frustrations, Low Life, Beyond the Bar, and so many other Netflix dramas just do not do it.
The theme of older workforce seems to be an issue for S Korea now? I see it in several dramas.... Other social issues addessed in dramas are low population growth and having kids, and now the startups and "new and evolved families" rather than the traditional Asian "I am your parent, I own you."
This drama seems real, many ppl live like Mr. Kim's family...
and I am wondering how it will continue? Since it is Netflix, will it be westernized and go in th direction of the western style delusion - typically in these "feels": some hopeless dead end - like drama The Murky Stream or even 100 Memories aka 100 Frustrations - OR some rosey glasses happy happy happy utopia like Potato Lab - AND/OR lots of action without any character growth - like dramas Low Life or Beyond the Bar -

Dream on. It is not good to avoid problems. The problem is not the writer- the writer wrote a story..... the problem ARE the people who defend toxicity. This drama is an amazing insight into super toxic people out there. Accept that people are not always good and smart and that many ppl are toxic, as the comments clearly show. Call the spade a spade. See clearly and be clear, no matter how unpleasant it is. What is negative, IS negative. What is positive, IS positive. And there is always some kind of mix of both. WHY are you so delusionally thinking that if something is not totally 100% positive and shiny, it is automatically "bad"?

The toxicity level was incredible. The loser brother could have told the police that some killer is coming. JP could have called the peagant to say that some killer is coming, or said it to the guards.
Jong Hui WAS a very dumb narcissist, is my conclusion. And around min 50 of ep 12, she FINALLY woke up and actually felt remorse and love, for the first time ever in her life, she was CLEAR.
