You are the one not being reasonable. Yes it's an African stereotype... but there are so many stereotypes showcased in movies or shows.(About Africa and other countries). Also it wasnt an exile per se, and certainly not a death sentence🤣. Where did you get that silly reason from..Another thought, so what if their intention was just for fame. Also yes... drilling water for a year is reasonable. Especially in remote areas. Do you even know the work that goes into the discovery of water and drilling. Also how do you know he didnt travel to other nearby villages to drill boreholes... he stayed in one village but that doesn't mean he didnt travel. Why are you so upset that he was doing something helpful, whether the reason was good or not. Rather people actually do something helpful that just stay at home and donate money and hope it goes to a good cause and doesn't go into some rich persons back pocket. There are so many things you could consider but at the end of the day its a fiction series so it litterally does not matter. Who cares what people decide to put in their shows/movies. Its not harming anyone

Yes, but look at the intention. He is doing volunteer work drilling water holes. Makes sense it'll be in a poor african country. Im not say that the continuous showing of Africa in a poor light is right im just saying in this context it makes sense
I think Bai Lu and some of the of the other cast members, looked to old for their younger version. They should…
I do enjoy slice of life dramas😭. The tan thing was specific to Bai Lu that I found it slightly unnatural. But like I said that's likely cause im used to seeing her in other roles that I noticed it. The rest of the cast looked normal to me.
I think you are just used to dramas were actors wear beautiful makeup and clothes 😅 actually this genre (slice…
I have watched other dramas that touches the realities of life. Im not shallow just to drop a drama cause of the looks. The reason I stopped watching cause I couldn't get into it and I found it relatively boring. Which is my opinion. Kinda makes me sad because so many other really enjoyed the drama🫠
A series with so much potential that keeps falling short. Im on ep10 and I feel like I don't really know/have a connection with any of the characters. The editing feels choppy, which is from the new law that was passed I believe, aside from that I feel like there has been very little screentime/ relationship building between the ml and fl. I feel like I missed the part on how everyone got so close. We only had 1 episode that showcased the whole friend group when they were really young and I feel like we needed more. Also there are a lot of filler scenes that make this series really boring. Im finding that Im skipping and fast forwarding so much. Which is sad cause I feel like this drama has so much potential, but they are wasting the amazing actors on a mediocre script🫠.
It's nice, funny too. However, even as it's just 60 minutes, the episodes seem too long to me and it took a while…

Also they were drilling wells... for people who didn't have water...hense why it's in a remote poor village...
Edit:
I finished the drama.... how does one move on from a lovestory like this🤧🔥😭
