A series with so much potential that keeps falling short. Im on ep10 and I feel like I don't really know/have a connection with any of the characters. The editing feels choppy, which is from the new law that was passed I believe, aside from that I feel like there has been very little screentime/ relationship building between the ml and fl. I feel like I missed the part on how everyone got so close. We only had 1 episode that showcased the whole friend group when they were really young and I feel like we needed more. Also there are a lot of filler scenes that make this series really boring. Im finding that Im skipping and fast forwarding so much. Which is sad cause I feel like this drama has so much potential, but they are wasting the amazing actors on a mediocre script🫠.
It's nice, funny too. However, even as it's just 60 minutes, the episodes seem too long to me and it took a while…
As someone who has lived in Africa their whole lives. Most of Africa is really poor. So it makes sense that anyone who is doing an outreach or missions trip or whatever is going to go to the poor places, not the fancy cities.
Also they were drilling wells... for people who didn't have water...hense why it's in a remote poor village...
the chemistry is so good but the story is a mess... she had no right to be mad at him after her tangled web of lies... she is playing the victim when she is the villain... it's so messed up...
watched the movie version on Youtube without knowing it was a full drama lol. Honestly I am happy I did, but the ending sucks. Why do directors always have to not make them have a happy ending. 😭
(Yes I know they met again I her world but still. The princess died and he still had to live his life without her. So sad ending in my books)
Im on episode 16, and so far Li Zan and Song Ran are my favorite couple. I love how they were honest with each other (obviously after a trigger), but I like how, unlike in some dramas, they are not blaming each other. They are owning up to their mistakes....
So in my opinion, so far I am loving this drama especially Li Zan and Song Ran's relationship... thier chemistry is also amazing!
Chen Zhe Yuan has the amazing ability to convey so many emotions with just his eyes.
