And much of the drama's conflict could have been resolved if the characters actually had communicated with each other. But Hayakawa's fear of abandonment would not let him. The drama fully encapsulates how much of the missed chances in life are a result of self-sabotage and the fear of living your life authentically.

Inject it directly into my veins. I wanted to love this. I really did. But sadly... something truly was not right We had Ba Woo, a precious golden retriever man who was yearning, crying, and projecting emotions like a side character in a Shakespearean tragedy-and Jee Hoon, a man so emotionally repressed he made Mr. Darcy look like a talk show host. The chemistry was there but the storytelling said "nah." Instead of giving us a slow-burn romance with healing and mutual understanding, we got a confusing mess of miscommunication, deadpan reactions, and emotional whiplash. Every time a moment built up, the next scene undercut it. It was like watching two gorgeous men circle each other in a fog of unresolved trauma and half-written dialogue. This show could've been the blueprint for "friends to lovers with longing stares and tearful confessions." Instead, it gave "Pinterest moodboard with zero substance." I stayed for the pretty faces. I left with a migraine and a sense of what could've been.
10/10 heartwarming series I like the story because one of the main protagonists is deaf and mute. The role is played very authentically, and you can feel the emotions he's going through. I haven't seen sign language addressed often in films or series before. Therefore, I think it's really well done and an important, special topic. The protagonist's anger and insecurity about his deafness are well camouflaged by his optimistic demeanor toward others. It's beautiful how sensitively the topic is handled and how tenderly feelings reveal themselves little by little, and how trust is built between the two men. Both main protagonists go through a nice development. I also liked the second gay couple in the story. So I will say - it's a must see. :)

The main couple are in a relationship where one partner is domineering and belittling, and the other is constantly self-critical. As for chemistry, I didn't see any. Tang Tu Chih's backstory is tear-jerking, but that's not enough to make up for the toxic little remarks he dares to make. Whereas the secondary couple are in a relationship full of misunderstandings but on the same level, with mutual adoration. Those two are absolutely adorable. Their first time is quite believable in terms of intensity. As for the main couple's storyline, there's drama piled on top of drama right up until the penultimate episode. Personally, I can't stand storylines that keep ramping things up right to the end just to create tension.

It feels like a snapshot of life-its highs and lows, the connections we build, the love we chase, and the way we drift apart. The storytelling was masterful, following Go Young as he navigates through the complexities of the world around him, capturing the sense of belonging and alienation we all sometimes face. The narrative is heavy yet beautifully simple, a quiet reflection of what it means to be alive. I found myself laughing, yelling, feeling joy, peace, sadness, and despair. The bond between Go Young and Gyuho left me shattered. Nam Yoonsu's performance was magnetic-it's hard not to be captivated by him. The entire cast delivered outstanding performances. I sincerely hope more shows like this are made.
It's been so long since i watched a bl drama that naturally treated gay romance. There are no tiring, fetishizing (sub)plots, no silly drama and no exaggerated characters. The simplicity of this drama is its strength. Simple gestures, just like akira buying kanata a bracelet or their conversations on the rooftop, make this drama feel so intimate and tangible. I know the drama is still ongoing, but i just had to leave a review already. The japanese bl industry has been feeding us well with directors that treat their projects as art and not just content.
09/10 Fluidity…………………….:……………………….. Everything flows in the movie. Everything is fluid. Fluid professions, fluid nationalities, friendships, sexualities, relationships, values, priorities. But the flow is bridged with gentle grace, even with the most ruthless realities. I really wanted to wish all the characters the very best, but I needn't bother - because they seem quite capable of gritty survival. Most of them. All in all, it's about sadness, wistfulness, resignation, persistence- all captured in the lead's eyes. Good movie. P.s - I really hope people don't straight-wash the male bonding and intimacy. It definitely adds to the film, and I hope it isn't hijacked.

Again, I'm the last one who would want to watch a rom/com but this is the best. The story lines and the actors are perfect. The length of the episodes is also a plus. I really hope that it is picked up for more seasons. We have to see how the succulents and Ryo continued on. "Love is not an energy drink!" I can't thank the creator of this show Keisuke Makino enough for making we want to believe in a rom/com show again! Please please more and more episodes!

10/10 A Truly Wonderful Movie It was Christmas Eve and I wanted to watch this movie and Cherry Magic. I put on the fire, made dinner and settled down to watch this film. I had to pause three times just to absorb just how raw and empathic this movie was to watch. By the end, I was done. I couldn't manage to watch anything else. The narrative, the character development, the dialogue between the boy and the pastor, the realism and the cast are exceptional. It's a movie that will communicate to many, that their experience and struggle through life, just to live in society, is understood and they're not alone. It reaches the soul.

The first one is about a promising future, the second one is about the definite future, the third one is a tragedy, and the last one is about the passionate one. I have no idea why the general rating of this mini series is so under-rated. In my opinion, this one is superb. Especially the second and fourth story. The fujoshis are squealing with delight after watching them.

His fear of attachment, his worry about repeating trauma, and his desire to be trusted but not knowing how... it's all heartbreaking. In contrast, Ji Hwan comes across as someone who not only loves, but also understands and respects wounds. He's not perfect, but he's there. He doesn't force, but he persists. He loves Min Joon not because he wants to "fix" him, but because he sees value in the healing process itself. Their relationship develops slowly-not instantly, not explosively, but quietly and real, and that's why it's so touching. Their chemistry is incredibly natural. There's depth in every look, silences that speak louder than words, and acting that feels so honest. The drama avoids overused tropes and chooses to tell the story of two fragile people-and that's its greatest strength. As someone who still struggles with fear, guilt, and old trauma, Business As Usual gives me hope: that safe love exists. That healing is possible, even when it's slow. That said, one thing that threw me off a bit is the huge cast. There are just so many characters, it gets a little overwhelming trying to keep up with everyone's story. It makes the show feel a bit crowded and chaotic at times. In addition, it has so many uninteresting plots, like they just threw in to fill a space and make the series lengthy. And also too many nonsensical dialogues. Now let's talk couples... The main leads, Mac and Larence have a good chemistry. Mac Alonzo's acting is good, it feels natural, while Larence Brenches little needs improvement. The second couple doesn't really click for me. The chemistry just isn't there. Oddly enough, I found more spark between Jack and his best friend, Tony. I was honestly hoping they'd end up together instead! Most of the actors here haven't starred in major movies or TV series, and I hadn't even heard of them before watching this. But I have to give special props to Gian Carl, who plays Tony-his performance felt incredibly natural, with zero awkwardness. Also, major kudos to Oxin Films. I've always noticed that a lot of Filipino BLs tend to struggle with budget limitations, but this one feels like they really put in the effort. You can tell they invested in the visuals, production, and overall quality. Sashes and Hearts is a fresh take with potential, even if it's not perfect.

The second couple was incredibly hot-the looks, the kisses, and everything else-it was absolutely delicious. I watched nonstop to the end, which is rare for me; I usually skip straight to the end after episode 5. There are some downsides, too (cliches and typical lakorn nonsense, like two wives, etc.). For example, in the episode where Per gets shot, everyone spent an hour trying to figure out why and who did it, while the poor guy sat there bleeding. It was a weird scene. Also, the intimate scenes were a bit implausible; for the first time, it was like clockwork for the guys. But it's beautifully filmed. Overall, BL lakorns occupy a worthy place in their genre! I think the rating is unjustifiably low. In response to the previous review, "Doctor is boring," it's not! Make sure you know the genres before writing about non-canonical relations - this is BL!

Love for Love's Sake (2024) say hello to your KBL masterpiece brother Secret Relationships (2025) . I really am amazing by how well all these actors performed and! really hope we see more of them in the future.

I do understand the low rankings, but also high rankings.

It feels like the storyline is only a sidepart, the focus is on the steamy scences. So if you're looking for steamy, you won't be disappointed. ;)
Like others pointed out - sadly we see no real character development. They left some potential on the road.
