I honestly think Uncle Unknown deserves far more appreciation than it has received. Even with its short episodes, the series manages to tell a touching and memorable story that focuses on emotions rather than unnecessary drama. Instead of rushing through the romance, it delivers meaningful moments that gradually build the connection between the characters, making every scene feel sincere and heartfelt.
One of the biggest strengths of the series is its simplicity. The compact format keeps the story easy to follow while allowing viewers to focus on the relationship at its center. The cast brings warmth and sincerity to their roles, and despite the limited runtime, they create believable chemistry that makes you want to see more of them together.
The production embraces a modest and intimate style that fits the tone of the story perfectly. Rather than relying on extravagant visuals, it lets the characters and their emotions take center stage. Every episode feels like a small piece of a larger love story, leaving a lasting impression despite its brief duration.
If you’re looking for a sweet, emotional, and easy-to-binge BL, Uncle Unknown is definitely worth your time. It’s a hidden gem that proves you don’t need a huge budget or long episodes to tell a heartfelt romance. A charming series that left me smiling from beginning to end and deserves a perfect 10/10.
Phro Khitthueng is a delightful companion story that expands the world fans already know and love while bringing its own unique charm. Even if some familiar characters have different names, it doesn’t take away from the experience. Instead, the series focuses on what truly matters: lovable couples, heartfelt romance, and plenty of entertaining moments that make every episode enjoyable.
The chemistry between the couples is one of the biggest highlights. Whether you’re rooting for Can and Tin, Ae and Pete, or discovering new favorite pairings, every relationship has its own personality and emotional appeal. The interactions feel warm, funny, and genuine, making it impossible not to smile while watching.
I especially enjoyed how lighthearted the series is. It balances comedy, romance, and friendship in a way that creates a comforting atmosphere without losing the emotional moments that BL fans love. The cast delivers charming performances, and it’s wonderful to spend more time with characters that have become so memorable over the years.
For longtime fans of the Love By Chance universe, this is a rewarding watch, while newcomers can also appreciate its sweet storytelling and lovable cast. It’s a feel-good BL filled with heart, laughter, and romance, making it an easy series to recommend. A wonderful addition to the franchise and an easy 10/10.
My Gear and Your Gown surprised me with its heartfelt storytelling and mature themes. Instead of relying on common BL clichés, it focuses on honest communication, friendship, family, and personal growth while letting the romance develop naturally. The high school arc is especially strong, though the university chapters lose some of that emotional magic. Even so, the excellent performances, touching finale, and meaningful messages make this an underrated BL that’s well worth watching.
10/10 AMAZING!! From the moment I started the first episode I was so captivated and could not stop watching. It was so entertaining watching the secrets and plot twist unfold. This has got to be one of the best K-dramas I've seen in a while! The storyline is different from the typical dramas on Netflix, so it was a breath of fresh air which I very much enjoyed. There was a lack of romance in the show, but it probably wouldn't have fit as the main character was constantly portrayed as a cold person. However, I do wish the main actress had more chemistry or development in her relationship. I'm so surprised the show doesn't have a higher rating, but hopefully with time it will change. I can't wait to see what else the writers and director comes out with next!
10/10 "Mask Girl": A Work of Uniqueness and Depth Yo, fellow binge-watchers! Just want to share my thoughts on this Netflix gem - "Mask Girl." Trust me, this show isn't just your regular popcorn entertainment - it's like a rollercoaster ride for your feels! Each episode is like a whole new plot, from office craziness to family stuff and a bit of dark humor. But here's the kicker: every character's the star of their own show. You see their side of things. But what sets "Mask Girl" apart? It's the crazy uniqueness. This ain't your run-of-the-mill show, It's like a mix of dark and gritty, with Twists. And the way they blend it all? Mind-blowing. Kudos to the writer for coming up with this twisted, mind-boggling concept.
10/10 Slow but engaging!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is might be bias because I like go minsi, but despite the slow plot in some part of the drama, i find the frog still engaging (you can skip the boring part though). Its been a while until i binge watching drama again, this one is one of it for me. One thing I think a bit strange is why did the suspicious woman not killing the old man, rather than give the sign that his daughter is the target? And why the old man let the woman stay at his villa again lol. This can be finished by 4-5 episodes only. But overall frim my pov, i think the sound, the cinematography, the art, and the cast are awesome.
7/10 Too much gratuitous sex, but nice twist ending Started off with a mystery and the premise makes the viewer root for certain characters. The unravelling of the mystery was entertaining to watch because of all the plot twists. The social injustice narrative became a bit too heavy with the sadistic abuse of the servants, and there never seemed to be any way out. The social injustice narrative became a bit too heavy with the sadistic abuse of the servants, and the tiresome part of it is the fact that there never seemed to be any way out. They all had to endure it because of the poverty back at home, and the seemingly high wages that "compensated" for the "back-breaking labour." In spite of that explanation, it's hard to believe that money is enough to motivate someone stay at this job when some of the abuse could maim them for life, making it difficult for them to continue earning any income at all. The acting was quite convincing for the most part, for both sides of villains and protagonists. Thanavate Siriwattanagul, who plays Mawin, stood out for me. The characterization of the servants was quite one-dimensional for all of them, so one cannot say that they had much acting to sell to begin with. Ending was satisfying, although a bit too fantastical.
10/10 Woah. ABSOLUTE CINEMAA!! I'm usually not one to watch Thai dramas but i decided to give this one a shot and it did NOT disappoint. Although i did get bored a couple of times, the anticipation kept me LOCKED IN. I seriously had no clue who was the killer but damn that shocked me. It was good, interesting. I wanted a bit more romance between Dalah and Sarath, but eh. I also wanted a bit more clearance on Risa and Kris and also Dalah's dad. But for one of my few first thai drams, this kept me on the edge of my seat till the end. The cinematography was also amazing. The intros and the details to the flowers were gorgeous! Overall, great.
8/10 Dying for season 2 The series actually has some similarities, as well as differences with the film edition. Overall, it's worth watching and interesting, I was on the edge of my seat, despite few illogical scenes.
9/10 Growing Pains, Rebellion, and the Pulse of Youth Bold and unflinching, Hormones: Wai Wawun dives into the chaos of adolescence, capturing the thrills, mistakes, and heartbreaks that shape a generation. This Thai coming-of-age film follows a group of high school students as they navigate love, friendship, and identity during one transformative summer. Rather than focusing on a single protagonist, the film interweaves multiple storylines-from first love and jealousy to ambition and insecurity-mirroring the fragmented yet vibrant nature of teenage life. The film's strength lies in its honesty. It doesn't shy away from depicting awkward moments, impulsive decisions, and emotional turbulence. By balancing humor with tenderness, it presents adolescence as both messy and meaningful. The young ensemble cast delivers natural, heartfelt performances that allow viewers to see themselves in the characters' struggles and dreams. Cinematography emphasizes the energy of youth, with bright cityscapes, buzzing schoolyards, and intimate closeups reflecting the highs and lows of teenage emotions. The soundtrack complements this vibrancy, amplifying moments of joy and melancholy. While some storylines feel underdeveloped due to the ensemble structure, the film's emotional authenticity outweighs its narrative imperfections. Ultimately, Hormones: Wai Wawun succeeds as both entertainment and social reflection, pushing boundaries for Thai teen cinema by portraying adolescence with rare candor. Rating: 9/10 - A daring, heartfelt, and relatable coming-of-age film that resonates across generations, making it one of Thailand's most memorable youth dramas.

10/10 I need a seque!!!! I've been watching the trailer on repeat since it first dropped, and after finally seeing the full movie, I can honestly say it exceeded all my expectations. What stood out to me the most was the way it explored the theme of self-acceptance. The characters aren't perfect-they make mistakes, they have tears, and they face struggles-but that's what makes them so real and relatable. The film reminds us that it's okay to be flawed, and that we don't need to hide our insecurities from the people who care about us. Vulnerability isn't weakness-it's a kind of strength. And sometimes, showing our true selves, even the parts we think are "too much," is exactly what helps us grow and connect more deeply with others. The music was another huge highlight for me. Every song was super catchy and I've already added several tracks to my Spotify playlist. I also loved the performance scenes-they were dynamic, visually stunning, and full of personality. Visually, the film is breathtaking. The character designs, costumes, and animation are all so detailed and vibrant. You can clearly see the love and effort that went into every frame. Each character has a distinct style that reflects their personality, and the fusion of K-pop aesthetics with demon-hunting action creates a world that feels both exciting and immersive. And I can't forget to mention the "enemies to lovers" subplot-it had me hooked from the start! That kind of dynamic is one of my favorites, and this one was done so well. The chemistry, the tension, the emotional payoff... it gave me all the feels. I laughed, I teared up, and I was totally invested in their journey. By the end, I was left wanting more-and honestly, I really hope there's a sequel on the way.
9/10 9 for the male lead acting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Series was good to watch during home quarantine.. Especially loved the male lead's acting. Though the mindset of the character's decisions were not quite clear and understandable. Certain aspects looked so childish like when the female lead sees the male lead with her bra wrapped around his eyes, she gets upset about him lying rather than what she saw in front of her..Any other person would have considered him to be a pervert. And there is no explanation as to why the leads like each other.. But if u don't mind the loopholes ND is a fan of Nanon's acting then this is the series for you. Nice film, The aktor and film is So Good. I love nanon S0000000000000 muchhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I tend to stay away from TV shows with lots of subtitles, usually to my detriment, but when I saw they had created Shogun I had to try. I'm glad I did. Literally after 20 mins of the first episode I was fully engrossed to the point I forgot it had subtitles. The production, acting, storyline, everything about this show ozzes class, emotion, depth and attention to detail. It's like being transported back to the beginning of 17th century Japan, the culture, customs and way of life on full display. The real genius of the novel and this TV show is the story of the westerner in the East, though his eyes you take the journey with him and also you grow with him as you slowly appreciate the resilience, dedication and honour of the Japanese people. I highly recommend this show, it's a worthy winner of every award it has won, all that's left to say is ...roll on season 2!
10/10 Based on memoirs; enjoyable and a peek into Japanese culture. I lived in Japan during this time, as a foreigner, a lot of the mistrust and prejudice is accurate. The corporate life is fast paced and grueling. I saw some reviews complain about all the smoking portrayed, I would say it's actually pretty toned down. The majority of adult males in Japan smoke, and English is taught from a young age, people in Tokyo especially have some basic knowledge of it. Fascinating glimpse into this world, really enjoy it so far.
10/10 A Powerful Film!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Beware of potential triggering scenes. I agree that this film is misclassified. It is not a romance. However, with that said, this is a powerful film that demonstrates how rumors and sexual assault can destroy lives. Feelings of shame and humiliation, self-blame, social ostracism, and the physical, mental, emotional, and psychological effects that sexual assault has on a victim. The film also shows how such an event affects the family and friends. It doesn't just hurt one; it hurts everyone. Even the community (the college students) in which it occurs. Acting is outstanding, the script phenomenal, and the production value is excellent. Well done to the cast and crew!
10/10 An incredibly captivating and thrilling series An incredibly captivating and thrilling series that follows the life of a young man with magical powers. I highly recommend giving this series a chance, as it's bound to leave you spellbound.
Season 2 may not have the novelty of the first, but it deepens the relationship in a satisfying way. Watching Toma and Natsume support each other as partners and professionals is genuinely heartwarming, and their chemistry remains as strong as ever. The pacing slows in the middle and some workplace storylines drag longer than necessary, yet the emotional moments and touching finale make it worthwhile. A comforting sequel that rewards fans invested in this couple.
9/10 Refreshingly different and surprisingly heartfelt
Cosmetic Playlover exceeded my expectations with its unique workplace setting and charming romance. The chemistry between the leads is fantastic, making every interaction feel natural and heartfelt as they grow together. Despite only having eight episodes, the story never feels rushed, balancing sweet moments with emotional character development. A few repetitive conflicts and a slightly underwhelming finale keep it from perfection, but it’s still a warm, engaging J-BL that stands out from the usual formula.
