OMG, I LOVE this drama series. The cinematography, lighting, pacing, style, set design, plot, and cast are outstanding. I'm engaged every episode and comedic moments pop up in unexpected places. You know a series has you hooked when you look forward to the next episode with anticipation.

For folks who are testing the waters to see if this is a good series, don't just look at the MDL rating, read some of the comments and reviews first then watch the first 4-6 episodes. Why so many episodes? The visual style and pacing is different from other rom-com dramas so it may take you a few episodes to get used to the style before being engaged in the plot. The plot moves along at a good pace and the relationship between the main leads develops and progresses realistically and organically (for dramas anyway, LOL).

Question for the ending scene of Ep 14... what is Cord Around Neck? That scene is hilarious tho, it seems like…
It was the ribbon that Xing Xin tied around Gu Yi's neck to complete her outfit.

I'm loving this series except...does the FL have to get fall-down drunk at least once every single episode? Is…
If I remember correctly she does drink a lot in the original novel.

there's more comedy or drama ? i only want to start if it's not heavy
It has a little bit of everything. Comedy, romance, slice of life, work problems, and past (childhood) trauma.

The cinematography is spectacular for a C-drama and lighting is used effectively. OST is also very good

Give it a try, it's very interesting. I personally am enjoying it very much.
