Moon River ends without pain or glory, magnified only by k-drama cheerleaders wearing rose-colored filters. This…
You tagged this as dropped and reviewed as early as Episode 6 and apparently leaves a review again to criticize the ending you haven't watched? Why bother going back if you have nothing better to say?

I appreciated the effort, honestly. The cgi didn't look very natural, but at least they didn't go for a six months…
The baby scared me for real. I had to look away, no doubt Kang was keeping his eyes on Dal only haha

I am lost. What accent? You mean her formal speech vs satoori? Why would it upset you? The writer must have wrote…
It is a conscious acting decision. As you go further along, you will note that during important moments that would hint at her past, she uses Hanyang accent. Like how one would speak in their default accent/tone when enraged or feeling emotional. The accent is crucial to the plot.

They're serving plot twists and reveals like we aren't down to our last episodes hahaha. I love love this show so much, at this point, I don't really care what others say, this is definitely better than its ratings.

I love that whole squad are now working together to take down the LM. When he went to the prison and saw Woohee, that was so satisfying (so sad for Yeori tho, she was just trying her best). We're definitely going to the climax and I can't wait for it to end with a bang (pun intended with how they previewed the gun for the next episode).

It wasn't. She simply survived, probably the Councillor dialed down the dosage so she has a chance to recover…
My theory is that maybe she suffered the same fate as Yeonwol/Dal wherein she survived but lost her memories?? Or maybe she did went crazy, we'll see in the next episode if she manages to recognize her son

The way he got up from bed just because of her cooking was hilarious 😂 More than the left minister, I want…
Yes, I think I hate him more than the Left Minister. He's so easily swayed he can't even make a proper decision unless the crown prince or LM decides for him

Why do I think Hong Su Zu acting here is better than before... I'm not sure if her character is supposed to be…
She's actually showing more emotions these last 2 or 3 episodes lately, but definitely at the start I can understand why they say she can't act. But maybe because the character is doing more now compared to before?

Ep 8:

This drama really out here surprising me lol. I thought the Jimjo bird plotline would last until finale but instead we got this as a catalyst for Kang to finally move on and let Yeonwol rest in peace. Which was actually nice to put an end to whatever hesitation he has about his feelings for Dal.

I feel so bad for Dal this episode. First, she gets her body back in extreme pain with potential scarring. Then she gets trapped in the palace as a concubine, and Kang makes it clear to her that it was just done out of obligation and nothing else, knowing well that she has confessed to liking him (and her getting jealous of herself lol). And when she tries to help in the Gyesa revenge, Kang immediately shuts her out like she hadn't been helping them in the previous episodes. The last part where she's cried herself to exhaustion, blaming herself for ruining the plan got me feeling so bad. Kang better do a proper apology to her as Dal and once they realize that she's Yeonwol. All these feelings of despair, pain: Sejeong portrayed it so well this episode. She's a standout in every scene.

Them being back on their bodies feels so refreshing. Kang with his brooding persona, and Dal back to her smartass self. Right now, Queen Dowager gets a pass for being moderately evil compared to the behemoth that the Left Minister is.

Also, I've officially added Woon to the list of unhinged people like Woohee and Left Minister. They deserve each other.

Ep 7

I kind of missed Song Sohee's 'But a dream' ending in the last episodes, but holy fire I love the comeback at the end once the OST starts playing. And true enough, the last few scenes did not disappoint. Them switching just as Kang endures the punishment in Dal's body, and immediately causes her to collapse. The clear switch-up in Dal's and Kang's expression, making no mistake on who's occupying who at the moment (props to stellar acting of Sejeong and Taeoh, honestly MBC better give them their flowers).

I love that Dal is just being straightforward with what she feels. She's perceptive too that even if Kang tells her he will not love her, his actions contradict all that (the letters/poems he wrote about her while they were switched, keeping the gifts).

The biggest impact of the switch was on how they began to understand each other better.

* Kang is used to the luxury of the palace and having everyone answer his whims. He looks down on Dal's standing as a peddler (their biggest argument being that Dal is humiliating the Crown Princess' face with her actions). He couldn't understand why Yeonwol wouldn't confide with him on the King's order and die for him. He couldn't understand the impact of political turmoil on Yeonwol/Dal until he began living as her: constantly looked down upon, hiding and running, a constant target of assassination attempts and political schemes. Dal in his body showed her why he is acting the way he is, why he's so hellbent on avenging the Crown Princess.
* Dal/Yeonwol has always been selfless. She never saw herself as being someone important enough to care about, she often thinks her dreams are simple enough and can be set aside for others. Cue her dying for Kang to protect him, burning her hand to help in cauterizing him, her suggesting she can go back to being a slave if that would save Kang's plans of revenge, her being so worried about him fighting that she didn't care if her dream of having a family no longer materializes. When Kang lived as her, he made sure to show her to appreciate herself and constantly protected her body when she originally wouldn't.

Good god, the negativity in these comments is baffling. I'm looking to rave here about the episodes yet all I see these comments. I'm not sure if it's because I'm only watching this atm that my full focus is here and I'm reading on all the episode dissections that it's elevating my enjoyment of the drama. 100/10 so far for me.

Tell me one part of the plot of the story that was moved forward BECAUSE of the body swap. Just one.

If you're going to tell me that this is not part of the plot, then I don't what to tell you but this is a freaking romance story about THEM!!! AND HOW THEY WILL FIND EACH OTHER BACK!! Just because there wasn't much impact on the revenge plot doesn't mean it's not part of the plot.

Those saying the body swap didn't do anything, are we watching the same show or??? Also, those that complain about the body swap when it was one of the main premise about it???

i really like this so faronly issue is that the female lead's characterization in the prince's body seems so unlike…
Yes, i think it was exaggerated a bit. Dal-i isn't as clumsy as they're making her to be in Kang's body. Even before the switch, we've known her to be bubbly but firm on her beliefs, and will stand her ground if she feels like it's being too much.

Somehow I think I need a rewatch of every episode because there are so many things ingrained in a scene or dialogue that I don't get to pay much attention. Not sure if you've noticed but in Ep 5 when they were running on the bridge, their reflections on the river were switched. A lot of these little things seem so thoughtful that I wanted to spot them if I could.

I no longer think Woohee is redeemable tbh. She wants to distance herself from her father but she'd been doing and plotting people's downfalls like nothing. I think she and Woon just trauma bonded disguised as love. (Partly also bec she's been giving us nothing but blank stares and a little movement in her eyebrows but that's it, i don't think i've seen a bad actor as her)

I want to start this because of Sejong but dont really like the male actor. is the story good? rating is kinda…
Yes!! Ep 1 might be a little heavy on exposition but things will be explained better in Ep2. I'll be very honest, I haven't found KTO attractive during their interviews/promos, but he was dripping charisma in the drama. I love their chemistry together.

I think it's a common theme here in MDL. Random people will bomb rate a competing drama to make their faves rating…
Just because this is true doesn't make the other any less true. 🤷‍♀️

Uh, I really wanted to, but I'm not feeling it. This drama's too dumb for me, I guess. There's barely any intrigue,…

But god forbid a girl wants to see a married couple find their way back to each other and fall in love again 😩
