I cannot understand you....he even recieved the TOP EXCELLENCE AWARD for Gangju's role. His character was supposed to be like that and his character has growen up so much. He was given a lot of screen time because he is the ML and the character that connects all the other characters. I agree with Tae Joon's potemtial being wasted but his character was so useless in this drama that If you had taken him away the drama would still go the same. I also thought that he and Hae Ji had a great chemestry and that they should have been given more screen time insead of the histerical mother of Gangju, or the gringy chairmen with Bong Hwi. And I would have also wanted more romance between Gangju and Da Rim. But honestly the writernim seems to have hated Gangju....all that character was put through...If I were in his place I do not know how I would have portrated Gangju otherwise. It mght look like a silly and overacted role but it is actually a ver difficult character to portray. All of his co actros praised him for what he did and called him esential for this project to be what it is.

But e got car crashed in the first episode on a cross walk and beaten up to the point he ended up in a coma this last episode. So not that far.

Episode 19 is exactelly where hell begins....Gangju's hell...and Gangju's love for everybody. You thought the kimchi box scene was heartbreaking? Well that mental breakdown is nothing compared with what comes next...


SPOILER ALERT....he commited crimes to help Da Rim and the family, he turned himself in so that they would recive a lower sentence, he faced a trial with the entire family , he made up every single won they have stollen to give that back to his mom and then in order to protect his mom he got beaten beadly and ended up in coma. The writers really hate him. Oh...let 's not forget that when the story started he was literally car crashed on their magic crosswalk....and this last attack on him also happened on a crosswalk. It is almost poetic. Just brace yourself....pills required. For migrans and tahicardias.

Beacuse the only way to run with that money would have been runing over one of them with the car. They came prepared with a bat and everything. If Gangju was to just give them the money for their lives oit would have been sort of a secound treason.

About that...how on earth will Yun Hwa help her kill or imprison his own father? Su Ra cannot help withou a rang and power and Eun Ho apperently has to get engaged...does not look like her crew will help much except Eun Ho that works with Meol Hwa.

She has a plan behind it. She wants to do what Seol Mae Hwa did...meaning play his loyal servent so that she can actually get revange on him with facts. So she reveled her identity to make him believe she is on his side. And she mentioned Meol Hwa as the killer in order to luer him.into beliving she knows nothing about him planning to kill her and steal the key. Actually she is damn smart.

But I adore the cast as it is. Su Ra is a cutey. Eun Ho and Yun Hwa are to melt for...not just cutes but also comic. Amd Myeong Ho that was the salt and pepper of the first half of the drama. They are perfect as they are. With Eun Woo idk If we could have takennthe drama not serious and just laugh at it. Who would you have casted him as? Eun Ho that belives he is gay...Yun Hwa the lovey dovey? Myeong Ho the bad guy? Or meaby Go Su Ra the counsciousness if all? 😂 After seeing Cha Eun Woo in Wondefull world In such a serious role at least to me would be kind of difficult to pictire him as any of the 4 mentioned.

No he is not. He is there for fun and moral support. Have you not seen that he helped Deok Su hide her identity form Myeong Ho and the top row? He is the only friend of her that does not jave romantic intwntions and that has his head on his shoulders. Unlike the others he does not have a secret ramg so he works hard with what he can to help. He does not even know who is friends really are yet he is always there encourageing Deok Su in her adventures.
You can call him the concieousness of all the characters.

They did pissed us so much but I am rooting for Myeong Ho to mature a little bit and change...because we are talking about Hoya...he was the salt and pepper of the first half of the series. If he was not there the 4 protagonists would nkt be tested so much and would not be able to evolve so much. Plus we have seen that Myeong Ho is not even there because he wants but more because he is obligated to by his clan. He is freaked out of being uneployed so he attacks the conpetition meaning Deok Su. The problem with him is that he actually likes her. And I know it sound stupid but he looks like one of those ML in an enemies to lovers kind of tropue right now. However there is enough drama with Mr Eun Ho that cannot open his eyes wode open and Yun Hwa that does not know thatbher father wants to eather use or kill the women he loves...
So Myeong Ho does not have a place anymore on the love web. That would be way too much for an historical comedy/romance drama.

But I think it wluld have been more fun to see a love triangke with Myeong Ho involved rather then Yun Hwa. YunnHwa is cute but it just sucks seeing to such great friends rootong forbthe same lady. (Or manly men in Eun Ho's frustrating case).

I am confused...is it 6 or is it only 2 left? I saw here many say that there are 2 left. Which kind of seems not enough for the plots they are going for.

No...it is just that the price is so cutely stupid that he still does not lnow she is a she. He just started having doubts and was sure he was in love with a he. Amd he had all the clues in his hands. One plus one makes too...for Eun Ho...it makes zero appearently. 😅 There are 2 episodes left and he still knows nothing and on top of that he keeps giving love advice to his best friend when his best friend is also in love with her. Not the drama...but his charcater is kind of dummy. Cutely dummy. But he does not look like a price. He uses phrases of a price and alwys thinks that everything is absurd just because he never had to leave like the poor. And he got so extreamly gelous of the fake bethroted of Deok Su...like he was shouting to all Youngchongru that this words has become a mess and that a women and a men should not have hot nights togheter while not merried. 🤣 He could not care less about the world...Deok Su should not be "the menly Deok Su" with anybody other then him.
It is hilarious and ridiculous. 😂

She heared it well. She just fakes being his loyal servent to take him down easely. She works with Seol Mae Wha to take him down. Amd Miss Seol also works with Eun Ho to be able to protect her...more like uses his rang for that.
I am so sorry for Yun Hwa...he is such a preciuos human being but has to be the son of a cruel men. He dreams about becoming a real men and take on Yeoncheongru but thanks his daddy dearest he might loese it all.
And why the heck did he ask his best friend for love advice when his best friend is in love with the same person and is even worst at conquering somebodys heart? 🤣. Su Ra is so right...what is wrong woth those too...

Ok...1...the primarly purpose of the money was Da Rim's surgery and halmonie's cancer. That are kind of pretty nesty stuff. The blindess is not sometimg you cannot live with, that is true but she had one last chance to see. Any mother in this world would do anything to help her daughter in this case. Bong Hwi tryed asking the money the right way but none of her other kids, friends or family wanted to help because of their own selfish reasons. And Da Rim really was against clock. She did not steal beacuse it was right but beacause at that moment it was the only available option left. She also intended a loan from the bank but could not and the dry cleaners could not provide that much money. We talk about 80.000$ for God's sake!!2...she is a mother that tried to do the best she could for her family through any means. She did not use the money to harm anybody, to provoke or instigate a crime and not even to buy a house or on any bigger expensive things. Here and on Mars every single judge would take that into consideration to reduce her sentence. But I still do not belive she belongs in the same place as psichos, murderers, qualified theifs, kidnappers, rappers ,etc. Cause she simply does not. I would give her communitary service but unfortunately she did destroy evidence and if proven she will stay 2 to 5 years behind bars.And 3 if you have not realised by now the message of the drama is not just stealling is a crime. Is more then that... there are more life lessons then you can imagine. First things first all of them were arrested in the end and had to face their own decisions. So it tells us to be responsable when we make decisions and think twice because what we decide on the the spot my cause more harm in the future. Just like in the drama...they thought they were helping their family but insted everybody broke up or ended behind bars. It also tells us to look closer and pay more attention to the ones nearby us. Cause we never now when they might need real help. There are cases even worst in real life...not just a simple blindess but deseases that might not even have a cure and children even younger then Da Rim suffering even worst then her. If we cannot help them with money we should at least be empatic twards them and pray for them instead of pointing the fingers twards them, looking down on them or simply pretend not to look at them at all.3...stealing indeed is wrong and money does not bring happiness...lesson learned by counter example. You'de be surprised how many people learn better this way. Some people need to experience kiking their head against the wall to learn the right way. In this case they needed to be arested to finally understand that it was not right.And last but not least idk if you payd attention but they were not even accused of theft but grocermy. Why? Because they simply found money that belonged to no one. Grocerny is basicaly keepers finders sindrome. Let me ask you something...do you think you are perfect? You might not be a theif but are you really without sin so that you can really judge them like that? You might never now when life can test you the way it tested Bong Hwi. If you really couldn't see any of these then let me tell you that you just lost 34 hours+ of your life watching and commenting on the drama.

Well at least it was not a therorist attack. And the rest of things were beds cauches and winter coats which pretty much go as humanitary actions. They only spent less then a million out of the 10 million.

True😅. I do not regret watching it. I regret watching it unprepared.

Thoughts on episodes 33-34:
I'll be short this time cause my head and heart are a mess right now. I do not know if Seo Gangju is a complete idiot or the best men that could exist in this world.
His cute littl;e face in the preview looking at his mopther like a happy puppy because she no longer has laverage on him and he does not have to break up with Da Rim.....he was so happy he did not even cared he was arrested and that his mother was like a thunder and lightening storm all togheter. He just prooved what he said...that Lee Da Rim is his number one. Regarding the circumstances that is a normal thing in life....when a men falls in love he suddenly gets out for good from his mother woomb and gets completely detached of her. The one thing that Ji Yeon failed to see was how her son changed due to that family. To good despite of being arrested togheter with them. He became. a real men capable of takeing and asuming his own decisions. He is not mommy and daddys controlled puppy. He is part of Darim's family as well. That men has been in love with Da Rim since university. Then he studied filmography which was his and Da Rim's dream from back then. He won a price for the love story he wrote as his bachelore degree and his mother onces said that she even cryed reading that. Yet she faild to identify the real source of the story....Lee Da Rim. He never called for 8 years but ever since they met again he was there for her. When she could not see and all she wanted was to beat him up in the middle of the crosswalk with her walking instrument. When she heared her brother and sister saying she was better of blind and she cryed out of desperation. When she razed lotto thinkets hoping she will somehow find the money. When she was in the hospital waiting for Taewoong that never came he faked being Tae Woong only to make her smile. When she was crying over Tae Woong he end not only landing his shoulder for her to cry but also he was sobbing near her because he can't stand her crying. When haraboji made a heart attack he dugged out the money he had taken. When halmonie had cancer he said he'd work even harder to make money so they can finally leave in peace after fighting way to many types of cancer. Cause If you all remember at the beginning it was not just the stomac one and that is why Shin wanted to be a doctor so bad. When halmonie and haraboji left that suicide note Gangju felt guilty of not being able to protect them till the end. And when all of them were finally arrested he could not take all of the blame but he admited his falonies too so that he'd stay with her.... "If you are arrested I should be arrested too.... I am also a theif". I wanted to punch him and kiss him simultaneously in that moment. Ji Yeon failed to see all of that. Even in the preview when Gangju looked at her with all the love and happiness in his eyes she just slaped him. Gangju is not a traitor. But a human being. After seeing how desperate the family was, after seeing how hopeless Da Rim was how could he just turned them in for the sake of a women that only cares about money and even blames her divorce over the money she lost because of her own stupidity. Had she not opened the safe earlyer the car driver would have never found out about the money in the first place. Seung Dong is not the best perosn on earth and desrved that divorce but she did not see how misserable he was in their relationship. He even payed 13 million to chgarity to cover for her stupidity from the money he has worked for years. Ji Yeon did not even knew what happened around her all this time. And she plays the victim and the boss of all. God how I wish those loan sharks manage to take that money from her. And I wish someone will just buirned that money already cause they only caused trouble. And sombody should really show the suicide letter to Ji Won so that she could understand the gravity of the situation. Her money was stolen her family....she lost it herself. She should not play victim as she always said that if she has her money back she will not care what the people say or do top her. Suck it up Ji Yeon'ah.... If you said You can take everything for your dear money....suck it up. You will be left without them and without family.

And I hate Mu Rim's mother in low so much. She is such a hypocrite. She was one of the persons Bong Hwi bagged for money when she needed and she refused to help as well. She knows what the family has been through because it is her family too. Yet she only care about her ego, and the promotion that will come along the case. Mu Rim did not asked her to say sorry to Bong Hwi because Bong Hwi was innocent, but because she abused her power to the maximum. She comited felionies herself just to get some evidence to spit in their faces. She got the nerve to look down on Mu Rim and Su Ji for not being real cops. She almost spitted on him victoriously. She arrested Bong Hwi previously without warrant and without any single proove of the theft. She could have arrested her for possesion of stolen money but she did not. She charged her for theft directly. Felony number one.
She took recordings without a warrant from an officers personal car. Felony number two. Doesn't she now that recornding obtained illegally cannot even be used in a trial as evidence? Not a felony here but a low leap she did not took into consideration. She also used her position to try to get all possile CCTV evidence to incriminate them. A good police officer indeed. Just a tiny little bit of power abuse against her own family.
