No other victim suffered? Aham...the fat loan shark that took all the money died...like for real dude felt off a building like a big pie...Gangju her own son got to commit a crime to protect everyone...and ended up in a coma because of that stupid money. Had she not taken the money out to soon the car driver would have never saw them and plan the robbery in the first place. Had she not gotten involved with the loan sharks Gangju wpuld have never ended up in coma to begin with. Had she properly reported the real amount the case qould have made the news and therefore even the elders and Bong Hwi wpuld have doubted the money under their couch.
Everybody was hurt because of the money including herself by getting a divorce. Had she told the truth to her husband and child about the enheritance NONE of that would have happened.

Oh Lord...I wpuld pitty her cellmates if so. They would be paying a double sentence...the one given by the judge and the one given by Ji Ye9ns screems. Also she would make all the guards quit in within a day.

The 1 year in prison was because they have more attenuants then agravants. For the frannies was taken into consideration their age, and the reason of the theft and the fact that they did not spend all 10 million...and did not soent them to do bad things eather. For Bong Hwi I guess theybcould not prove she destroied evidence so theybcould not properly chrage her on that. As the judge mentioned she also has atenuants her background as to why she stole cause it was comprehansible since Da Rim condition was under clock, and also the fact that she tryed to getter the money on the right way asking everybody she knew and no one wanted to help for some selfish reason. They all recueved alternatives like fines in money or up to 5 years in prison but we the deductions they only got one. I disagree about them not having remorse for what they did. They did have remorse and ask everybody for forgivness and including when they got out they said "Lets not steal ever again".

His mom's promis to donate all that doomed money. It was like...at this point "Writernim I refuse to get jailed or killed for that doomed money ever again so write my awaykening properly or you'll hace to pay for my sleeping beuaty hospital charges. ". 🤣 Mujkang mujkang but buggest clichee ever was evoided... Ji Yeon to Da Rim: "Are you sure he loves you so deeply? Have you kiss him properly? They why is he not waking up?". Da rim to her: "I do not know...perhaps he forgot about me? I am sure I behaved lile he behaved to me".Jiyeon: "Are you sure you know how to kiss? Did you too even did it properly before?".Da Rim: "Darling, we even slept togheter...sish.".

Amd I respect your opinion about Tae Joon even If I do not completele share it. At least Tae Joon got an engagement party in the end. While Gangju after everything he did had to wait for his turn. And he was like...its pk your my brother. 😂 I wosh we had more romance for both the couples but it seems hilarious that Tae Woong and Cha Rim were given 0 chances to shine but were given the engegement party first.

Happy emding though....you are not going to believe what got him out of coma. 😅 Just keep watching.

Well Gangju's plan was to steal the theifs car so that they could not follow the mother. His plan backfired since the car was not electric and needed the key. It was somehow absurd but the intension was good. Here his mother is also to blame because she left woth the money even though she turned back for him. Had she not left the things would have been better. Gamgju's accident was needed for both his parents to finally wake up. KDramaland indeed.

I agree about the parents. And you are right about the orphanage stuff. But still at least to me Gamgju was more present in the story and It was him that liked everybody in the end because of his love for Da Rim.

He was obssesed with his stepdad because it is the only paternal figure he had in his life. Since his real father abandoned them he was left with daddy issues. But ever since he becone Seungdons father he himself said that it was the best gift her mother has given to him. Perhaps more backstories of the two of them would have been nice so that we could understand why Gangju loves him so much despite of him bei g an ass hole.
As for Taejoon...what dots dod he connected?
If he had not lie to the family rhey would have never ever needed to steal money in the first place. His fear of abandonment is not as justified as Gangju's. His existance explained his fathers past somehow. That I agree. But I do not feel like he has connected anybody in this story at all. He just existed there. He did not even knew about the money, he was the kast one to find out that his family and Gangju were under arrest and he could do nothing to save anyone whatsoever.
He did not do amything special for his dads company. He just hapoened to come with the idea to unite Gangju's blooming business to theirs so that they could work togheter cause he alone was just useless in that position. I still dislike how he got his position in the first place. Gangju was fired because he was too perfect. And because Sungdon did not want anybody to believe he was favoring his son. Yet he brought his other son and installed him on a CEO position with him.only having a highschool diploma and some weird ways to make money by investing. That were to nonuse ever since he got the CEO position.
I could not agree more about the fact that his pitential as an actor was missused. Wasted. But the way the character was build now you can say that he really did someting to metter in this whole story. Not even his relationship with Cha Rim was built properly. He never puted an ultimatum on Da Rim in order to not break her heart but If he had been strong in his rejection the Taewoong ere would hqve been a mere fling insted of an era.

I just realise someting. Gangju's plan was to steal the theifs car so that they will not chase his mother, which could have been a geniuos plan if not for Gangju's usual bad luck. Meaning the car was not electric, not opanable from a button and he needed thw key. That is why he left himself be beaten by that baseball bat. To protect the freaking key. He could have ran the car over one of them in legitimate defense but then the others would have still had their car and could chase them and provoke a nastu accident. He wanted to protect his mother on every possible outcome. Amd this way as painfull as it was It woke her up...she does not need the money to be hapoy, she needs her son. Amd also Seung Don was awaken...in the preview he literally went to attack back the idiot that almost killed his son. Aknowledgeing Gangju as his son finally. None of them deserves Gangju yet Gangju loves every single idiot chracter on this show. The move of leaving the car was not the wisesed one but not the worst one eather. How not to love Seo Gangju? 😁🤪😍

I never watched a 100 episode maljang before. I am a bit scared. But...I did watched What is wrong woth my family and My husband's git a family mexican versions and If I have survived to that remade shit I think I can pull a Korean original through. Or at least I hope.
I started this drama because of a side character which was Lee Sung Yeol's character Officer Hung Cheol. But has not appeared in any episode after 20 someting because he had to leave the show for the INFINITE LIMITED EDITION Asian Tour. At the beginning I did not lnew who the leads where and when I saw Kim.Jung Hyun pne of my all time favorites AND Choi Tae Joon I literally screamed. I am sorry that Tae Joons potential in this drama was absolutely wasted and I belive he did not deserve the award he won. It should have been haraboji taking it since his character had more grouth , deapth and screen time.
As for Kim Jung Hyun he became the entire resaon why I fisinshed this series. Almost finished. I still have to watch the finale.

It was a bit hectic yes. But I would not call it depressing. More like releaving. The grannies and the mother even though imprisioned and end even though they were crying and thebcell mates could nòt stand them they managed to finally sleep well and stop javing nightmears. JinYeon started to finally melt in front of Gangju...Gangju stoped feeling gulity for her and confronted her about Da Rim and on a dyaly bases he would come to chat with his mom aboutvDa Rim rekecting him and how could he gain Da Rim back. And his mother was like "Shut up already", "I am not your mom", "I am not your best friend"...but she would always let him seat by her side and listen to him in the end. And yes...he got beaten up to save her life. But his plan was preatty good actually...he just head bad luck with the car of the theifs...you are going to see what I am talking about. Plus this sudden coma has moved Sueng Dong to the ground to the point he went to kick the ass of the men that almost killèd Gangju. Or at least that is wjat the preview shows. The atmosphere just detenes a bit with all the beating parts. I am not a fan o violence but that is how I felt after the episode. It was the first episode that did not provoke me a migrain or a tahicardia. And I mean it.

At least he understood now how Gangju felt when they buliied their beloved "nuisence". But yeah it was sad to see them imprisoned near really bad people. I keep saying that they do not belong in prison. They are 90 years old. One had a cancer operation, the other one a heart attack. They should have recieved home arrest or comunity service and a fine to pay. And Bong Hwi...she turned out to be a sadomasochist. She liked being punished by violnce appearently....why?

That is true. I guess the scene was done this way so that Gangju would prove to his mom that he is still her son. Ji Yeon needed a hard slap on the face to realise that that money means nothing If she reamins alone. Plus how else was he going to convince his mom to approve of Da Rim and her family?

I hope so because unfortunatelly I heared some people here backlashing the actor beacause of hs failed relationship with a certain lady actress that they were keen on and they were judging him without even knowing that he proved legally and medicaly that he was the victim. Up to this day he still feels the need to apologize even If he did nothing wrong. What he did confrunting depression and major psichological ilnesses and overcoming the terrible korean industry and society is just amazing. His love for acting and music kept him alive. He could have terminated his life as many others yet he took time off to cure himself and returned more powerfull then ever. Just because things did not ended up well romantically between him and the actress It does mean he should be backlashed. It is not our buisness what happened between them. If they are fans of her it is ok be fans of her without the need to execute him on the spot. It is not fair. He worked his ass to be where he is and he proved with medical documents that he was the victim and not otherwise. Case closed and back to your lifes. If you do not like him at least do not ruin the plessure of others that love him for what he is. An extraordinary human being. And an extraodrinary actor. Do not like him...skip the drama....or his scnes if you can...

Agreed. But the drama also explained somehow why he could never call back. First it was the Military Service which back then was 3 years. Then it was the MBA he took oversees. And during the same time he also had to work so he's pay for his film studies which he did because it was their dream to create movies togheter. Then he had to work for daddy dearest so that his dad will not leave his mother. I guess It was never the time until he was car crashed on that crosswalk in front of her. I now....he should have called while in the army. But the situation was preatty akward. Because If you remember she wanted to cut all thies with him after the ons. Even If he had called while in the army back then he had nothing to offer to her. He could not help her regain her sight or help the family in need as he was just a young boy back then. This does not excuse him. But somehow explains him.
