even after having bottom rock expectations for this film, it still went downhill beyond expectations. anyway,…
I'll just add something that really bothered me throughout the film... NOBODY EVER BLEEDS.. Yeah, you see them have some wounds, but you never see the source of the injury; it felt like they just added SMALL wounds/cuts in their faces in certain scenes to show the progression/time of the fights (never see them get injured while fighting in real time). They established that dying from a slash/gunshot will just spray coins instead of blood, yet for a single dude, the one LJH shot, they show splattered blood from the headshot. You see, their weapons get covered in blood, yet nobody has a single blood flowing out of their body. Weapons don't even touch anybody (unless it's against CGI monsters), either it's just a gust of wind or some light effects.

%37 on rotten tomatoes , although it's high for this shi , but even critics know how bad it's .
popcornmeter (The 37%) is audience rating while tomatometer is "critics" rating. Not enough critics even watched this flop of a movie. The rating is higher cuz like in mdl actor fans are rating it 5/5 just to support them

This is shit I was defending this movie but I get why people are mad the director is so sooooooooo st*p*d that…
LMAOOOO. They read the source and thought "Hmmm, ok let's do the exact opposite". I don't honestly mind if they changed some things as long as it's compelling and still in line with the story/character, but they just completely dismantled the core of the story. Even as a stand-alone film, the visuals, cinematography, and pacing are all off and not what you can expect from such a high-budget film.

well they can't make another one if they don't have the funding. It only had 7k views today in korea and would probably continue to drop

There will never be. This film has gone way off the rails. Eliminating one or two characters is a studio habit.…
not exactly, there will never be one cuz there will be no second movie. This film ended after green zone arc and just before the fake prophet arc

Just watched at my local amc theater. Knew nothing going in. Enjoyed it! Can't wait for the next movie!
hate to break it to you, but I don't think there's gonna be one. It bombed heavily at the box office. I think even if we combine international and domestic, it garnered around $9-10 mil at most. It has a production budget of $21 mil + maybe around $4-5 mil for marketing. It's already hovering at the low 10,000 viewers per day in Korea rn.

Am not a fan of jisoo anyway But her part also gave life 😌 to this movie I don't know whether she is popular…
That should be the normal response which is why i am sooooo confused whenever I look at other socmed/forums and a lot of fans defend this film to death for some reason that i can't comprehend. They don't even like the movie, they just like the "5-minute" screentime she has. lol

OMG 😱 really it's making records in Thailand 🤣🤣🤣 people amaze me on MDL https://x.com/sevennyLMH/status/1952280656416813182?t=HrM3uZfieClTS4mVqG2fRQ&s=19https://x.com/sevennyLMH/status/1952259876354453910?t=-JFkm1qcyo0DAY-93zNkzA&s=19
just for context that's around a total of 25,000-30,000 admissions in Thailand over a period of 4 days from Jul 31 to Aug 3 (not sure the specific opening day admissions), idk about singapore though. For taiwan the total admission is around 150,000-170,000 can't find an exact number so i just relied on average ticket prices

but at least the guy ur fan of, isn't openly being shaded by the Film's director on interviews. I have seen a lot of Jisoo fan boycott this film, I just can't wrap around the idea of supporting a film that insult an actor I like

Yeah that's usually what happens if u insult their country and the person. You know fight fire with fire. When in his mind he didn't do anything wrong, and you came and replied with an aggressive tone, looking to fight

You definitely need to stop with this type of insult. "Who is the creator of bot Gogoallaout? Tell that creator they created a defective bot and please take some inspiration from Chatgpt. My respect has gone up for Chatgpt. How incredibly it understand me!!" -NewStar....He is calling you a bot since you have been talking shit with him on your previous comments and he is NOT saying you're using ChatGPT as a source ( especially if the context is that he wrote Novel and meant Movie, your reply just doesn't make sense since 1. You're insulting his country & 2. You're also calling him names and insulting him). What he is implying is that "Your creator" should improve the "bot" by taking a look at how good ChatGPT is. You really need to chill, my man and re-read everything, cuz either u just run with ur emotions and write the first thing u think or u have a harder time comprhending what's being said as english is ur second-language. Either way you need to compose yourself before writing these type of comments

Ok let's be chill here, I think this beef between you two is one big misunderstanding. I believe Newstar is implying in his first comment that the MOVIE didn't create any buzz in India ( he might be using "Novel" as a stand-in) since he insinuated that even actor fans are boycotting it there. Furthermore, since the Vedas, which is the Indian Pantheon, are often portrayed as an enemy, India, being a religious country, would not like this and might be banned. Also, there is no need to criticize the country's English skills when it's the country with the most English speakers, besides the US.

Anyone who didn't read the original material and went into the movie knowing nothing, who has some impression…
i'll just copy one of ny replies here

"Its really weird, idk if they made the film with the assumption that most have read the novel since a lot of details are glossed over (the world, power system, character relationship), so if your a viewer who hasn't read the novel and did not pay that much attention plot becomes complicated and visual/cinematography didn't feel like it was done with a $21 million budget ( this is according to the people I went with who has no idea about the novel)"

I have a genuine question. Why are Jisoo fans supporting this film?? Like I see at least two of ya'll is a fan of Jisoo, die hard defend this film. Isn't it like a huge deal to the fandom that the director is using/casted Jisoo for her popularity, and went on interviews shading her acting? If a director would say that to an actor I like, I sure would be one of the people who hates the movie. This is what's baffles me, I still see a lot of people give this film at least an 8/10 saying something like "Love this film, Jisoo made sure to crush that 5 minute screentime" (which isn't a proper critic, if ur reason u like the film is cuz the actor is part of it, u don't really like the film u like the actor). I listen to kpop but not part of any fandom, but is this normal behaviour/mentality for a kpop fan? support anything even though multiple reason says ur idol has been "mistreated".

Idk about historical significance but if we are talking about webnovels. ORV is essentially to Korea what One Piece manga is to Japan (idk if ur familiar with that series). It has maintained the no.1 spot for years and even received an award for Ministers of Culture, Sports and Tourism. It's popular domestically that chances are, if u ask a korean who reads webnovel, they've mostly likely already read ORV or at least have heard of it. I watched the film, its bad but if have nothing else to do, its a decent time waster movie
