I may be a bit shallow but really, wrong casting for the female lead here obviously. Gu Hye Seon can't be tagged a great beauty and that's ok! Let's say an actress with a minimum amount of cuteness and personality could have done the trick. But here, when some of her facial expressions are so unatractive/ungraceful (as an understatement) they make you frown and your jaw drop, it makes you wonder if you'll ever get used to it sometimes before you've reached the end of the series.
omg korean writers are sooo lazy, unbelievable! The incident with the document destruction for instance., it just doesn't hold up. She could have said the lawyer asked me to, end of story... but no they build the whole drama around it and you're left watching this, emotionless, because they just did build the credible ground for it. Really, tiring... I'm really struggling to find good korean writing... I'm not even getting into how bullies with witnesses end up pressing charges against her brother and father... here again you just FF until you find a reasonable spot to go on...
ep 5 and still very boring. They had a good setup base and you'd espect a big brother type of show but no. On top of that the anti-fan is not very spicy. No backbone, no wit... just a lame looser at every turn. That is not cute nor lovely, kinda backwards to depict women that way. Sticking around because of Soo Young, though not sure I can take much more of the lousy character they had in store for her...
not sure who wrote the synopsys here but I'm starting ep24 and I've seen Nangong Wan 3 or 4 times. He seems to be set on erasing beautiful Qiao Qian's memory every chance he gets and rejects all her advances. That a 0 romance drama! :/
I have to kinda agree and yet, at the same time, I enjoyed it and managed to finish it, which hasnt' happened…
I don't know.. looks to me like up to 10 years ago, the plots made more sense and the writers took the time to lay realistic grounds for the events to happen. Now it's like "hey, he doesn't like my toothpaste, I'm taking off for the states without notice" kind of ground logic
Such a high budget for such a lame story. Someone asked to me to explain the issue between the leads... honestly I coudn't! Just a bunch of fabricated/artificial misunderstandings, hesitations and silences. I'm very disapointed, I love these actors. The split personality could have been exploited in such a wild and intelligent way especially with Youn Jung which is beyound amazing. 1.5 rating for the desapointment. My worst rating so far. Dropped at ep10.
Ep.4 I'm not sure I like the narrative portraying her as a cold blooded/no remorse whatever to achieve her goals while up until now, anyone that ended badly really asked for it. I hope this dichotomy is not an early hint of where the writer is going to take this in the end.... You Jung is nothing short of amazing and totally credible as a megastar. Big fan here..
Korean creativity at its lowest. They used pretty much all the cheap clichés and tricks to render what could have been a good plot. Sad that such good actors would land a hand to such poor scenarios. Kdramas need a change. very very boring.
I HATE the fact that she's cowardly LYING TO BOTH MEN1) She tells the ML that she's married and torments him2)…
Speaking the truth is NOTthe kdrama's way. You take out lies and misunderstandings from the kdrama plots, the industry goes bankrupt. Don't ask for a realistic plot when it comes to new kdramas
