I saw a spoiler video on Instagram, but it didn’t have subtitles. From what I understood, she introduced herself as Mr. Nie Cheng Yuan’s daughter to Yusen’s friend and to others as well. So I think the god-daughter basically used Xigua’s identity, since people only know that Mr. Nie has one daughter and don’t know that his first love’s daughter is actually his god-daughter. In that sense, both the god-daughter and Xigua’s father are at fault. In the video, Xigua also blamed her father.

My blood boiled when Xigua’s father told her to cut ties with Yusen.
