I feel like the Emperor of Susha is actually really proud of Sui Ge. He seems to admire the way Sui Ge handles the Zhuangs—like in episode 2 when Sui Ge confronted them, you could see it on the Emperor’s face that he was proud. I just love Sui Ge’s whole aura—so much charisma. Everyone in the court is scared of him, and he’s not afraid of anyone, not even his own father, the Emperor.

When I saw the ep 9 preview I was like… girl, who even are you to tell her what to do? That one-sided crush on Jing Shi is your problem, not Yixiao’s. Even your brother told you not to marry into the enemy kingdom, but you were so desperate to ‘fix’ Jing Shi. That’s on you. Then in ep 10 you go asking Yixiao to show you archery? Like, why are you suddenly all over her? If you end up suffering after marriage, honestly, I’m not gonna feel bad for you
After watching a few episodes, it feels like the Emperor of Susha is actually training Sui Ge on how to deal with the Zhuangs—almost as if he’s preparing him to grow stronger in the face of those ruthless Zhuangs who have their eyes set on the Susha throne.
I really hope it’s NOT Xia Jing Shi who shot 🔫 and pushed Yi Xiao down the cliff 🏞️…otherwise it won’t look good smacking such a handsome face 😭🔥💔 And don’t even get me started on Princess Feng Xi Yang 👑… she’s lowkey annoying sometimes 🙄. Her “love” for Jing Shi feels like a child 👧🏻 falling for chocolate/candy 🍫🍭 at first sight.
