No, ML was trying to meet her 1 year ago (when his accident occurred) although by now it may be 1.5-2 years ago :)
In one of the most recent episodes, FL mentions a party “two years ago” and ML tried to meet her after that.

I honestly think that ML was very glad to be called out on his lies (being an instructor). He’s pretty smart, so if he wanted, overnight he could’ve set up a fake Weibo account for his ski instructor business, etc.
But now their parents know the truth and — more or less — consider them a couple 😁

It can produce some unique merch though — for Ski Into Love, they made a replica of pink turtle cushion pad that FL wore while training on the slopes.

Hokkaido is also insanely expensive in the wintertime (for luxury stays).

The episode started so funny with the family meet up scene but it got so emotional when ML’s mom was recounting her romance with his dad 🥺😳

Very true. I’m convinced some dramas (like Fated Hearts) have a high MDL rating because of good early reviews before things go south at the end (or in middle as was the case with FH 🥺😳).

JerkXu is around to show FL’s maturation process, probably, but I’d also prefer less of him and more of nice characters like FL’s work bestie Yin Jie :)

In early episodes (college life) RR was being presented as 2FL, so I tend to think of her as 2FL.

It’s 6 years. Right now ML is 28 and FL is 22 (as of current episodes).

Have you watched Flourished Peony / In the Name of Blossom? 2ML was so twisted there even though he was played by Miles Wei who normally plays good guys. Miles did a great job 👏 The things his characters does are so twisted & evil, they make JerkXu look like an angel 😳

He’s definitely insecure about FL being from a wealthy family while he’s from a regular family. But there are other factors at play… Having said that, nothing absolves him of his behavior even after we find out more details.
